2023-10-23 21:44:52This place is right down the street from Azusa Pacific University, and we decided to try it out for lunch after Grad Fest. The service was friendly, and the food was really good! I tried the pork belly bites and the street tacos. I thought both were very flavorful, and the portions are a good in size for its price. I would definitely eat here again, and I would recommend this place.

2023-12-10 04:54:14Stopped in after local judo tournament. Were lucky to be seated quickly on a Saturday evening. Loved the atmosphere, friendly service and the food! Wife had Pork Belly street tacos, pork belly, and menudo and said was glad I talked her into stopping by! Kids had burritos. calamari and pulpo entree. All were well portioned and very flavorful. Well certainly stop back by when were back in Azusa!

2023-12-09 07:13:20DO NOT arrive hungry! We seen this location advertised on IG, their food was good, not great. Their service is slow and our drinks came out half way through our meal. We were told up front that the dishes we ordered would take a while to make but I couldnt understand why a beer and a Michelada flight took 40 minutes to prepare. We made same day reservations and we were seated on their out door space which we were told had heaters but half way through our meal a heater was taken away from us and we were extremely cold, we couldnt enjoy our meal as we were told that there wasnt seating inside although there were many instances where tables were empty. They have an interesting menu where you can order sushi rolls to pork belly bites and even a molcajete dish which takes about an hour to prepare and serve. I think staff is trying their best but kitchen time management and organization needs to be fixed immediately. Four of us tried several dishes and spent about 250 w/gratuity.

2023-09-10 19:00:05We love trying new, local NON CHAIN food places and this one caught our eyes for our 28th wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint! Marco was our server and was THE.BOMB! He truly made our experience memorable from his drink recommendations, to the best food pairings! The vibe/atmosphere was great and the entire staff was helpful and friendly, we loved the margarita flight and if youre like me and LOVE good chips n salsa (Im a snob!) WOW! The red salsa, avocado salsa and creamy avocado sauce were TO DIE FOR! The presentation of the food was superb and the overall TASTE was a foodgasm for our taste buds! Its such a blessing to find a local place that really gets down flavor profiles and food textures! You can tell a LOT of love goes into each and every dish here! Try it. Youll thank me!

2023-12-03 20:33:34My husband found this place on tik tok! So we decided to check them out. Let me just start by saying the food did not disappoint it was just as amazing as it looked on their photos. We ordered the Rib eye chilaquiles, they are a great sharing plate full of authentic flavors. The staff was friendly and the place kept clean with fun ambiance. Definitely recommend this place, too bad we live in SD otherwise we’d be here frequently. Also shared the french toast and they were delicious and perfectly moist.best wishes Clandestino! we see you quickly becoming a top favorite local stop for many.JM

2023-11-02 18:15:12This place was so good! I went for the first time for brunch and ordered the Rib Eye Chilaquiles. Let me tell you, I has no idea how huge this thing was gonna be but I think I couldve shared with another, it was absolutely delicious though! It has both red and green chilaquiles and a rib Eye steak down the middle. From their drinks I ordered a White Sangria which was great, I am more of a wine person so sangrias are already my thing, but I also tried their Watermelon Jalapeño Spritz and it was oh so sweet and good. Loved what I ate here. The only reason Im giving a 4 overall star review is because I wouldve loved to see more food options. Its all put into a general menu so they dont have like a brunch menu or breakfast and so on so forth. Their drinks menu is pretty extensive and that I really liked ! Also they offer pulque here which this was my first time seeing at a restaurant and its so great to see on the menu. The atmosphere was very nice. They have an indoor bar and outdoor seating. Vibes were cool. Our waitress was above and beyond helpful and she was so nice and social. She made sure we were comfortable with our decisions and was absolutely accommodating to our needs. Made us laugh a couple of time, felt like she was out friend. Really appreciated the service and her checking in with us!

2023-08-12 20:59:20We enjoyed our brunch here. My wife had the breakfast burger, and I had the breakfast burrito. The food was good, but not the most tasty. The breakfast burrito definitely made you feel full, but it was on the heavy side with added potatoes. The burger did taste good with seasoning, although it was slightly more well done than we would have liked. The churros and ice cream was delicious. The atmosphere was very positive. I liked what the restaurant did with the lights and theme. Very cool. The service was kind of slow, but at the same time less impressive. The waitress wasn’t very interactive, or seemed to go above and beyond it any way. Would have liked to see her engage more with us as it was our first time eating here. Everyone else seemed to be reasonably friendly. Overall, solid experience. We will be back.

2023-10-01 22:54:11Fish tacos were amazing! Yalitza is an amazing waitress. The salmon sashimi not really not my liking but we sll have different likes and food preferences. Stick to the authentic food for each place, thats my personal opinion.

2023-03-30 20:26:01Ive probably been here 10x since they opened and each time its amazing. They are consistent which is the main signature of a great restaurant. Theyre independently owned and operated and you can tell they put their heart into the place. Literally everything is good but some stand outs: shrimp lollipop, rib eye, and pork belly tacos! Their happy hour is also best in town!
