For all your Italian deli needs this Clairo is a institution in the San Gabriel Valley with so many different offerings for the Italian aficionados, deli, a bakery pasta, fresh pasta, olive oil, tuna, sardines, sauces and pasta, salads, desserts, gelato, fresh pizza, frozen pizza, frozen, raviolis, lobster, raviolis, butternut raviolis. I’ve been pretty much anything for Italian and that’s recently been remodeled, and the staff is very friendly and pretty much everything you would like cannolifor dessert, almond nuggets, nuggets, and all kinds of great stuff so don’t miss out there’s definitely a place to visit

Unassuming if you dont know its story but wow its got pretty much everything you need to put together a table of Italian dishes. The deli meat and the sandwiches are fantastic as well. All for a very reasonable price. Cant ask for any better.

Not the kindest service while calling. In addition they seemed a little bit irritated that I wanted to order seven sandwiches because they were unprepared for the order.I ordered a Auntie Nicole however it just came with the 3 cheeses, nothing else, even though it says it comes with everything on the menu/website.And their sandwiches are mediocre.Never going again.

Claros is one of my favorite sandwich spots in the SGV. I ordered the Great Grandpa Joe which comes w/ Capocollo, Mortadella, Dry Salame, Provolone Cheese, lettuce, and tomato. If youre in the mood for something with a bit of spice, I definitely recommend ordering the Spicy Mike.

Ordered The Ring...great for a bday party...serves 12...thick bread with sesame seeds, fluffy and soft...the meats were Italian cuts of different salami, thinly sliced, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, hint of an Talian dressing....only thing u do have to pay extra $5 to get a serving platter with plastic cover and to have it sliced up...u can have 8 slices or 10, I went with 12 which was still a sizable sandwich. A beautifully-built sandwich...and yummy....see for yourself.

Real Italian food located in San Gabriel meatball sandwich very tasty. I was young going here with my mom for she loved the sauteed mushrooms. Omg try the stiffed red peppers so sweet and yummy. Seating outside small but enjoyable felt like a real godfather movie 😄

Claros is a staple in the community, period! You dont get to stick around as long as they have and be as busy as they are without providing a great product at a reasonable price. Everything at their deli is top notch Italian eating and you really cant beat the value of one of their sandwiches vs any of the sandwich joints out there. Theyve got a solid good size list of pre-designed sandwiches on a board over the counter and if you want to swap 1 or 2 items out for something else its no problem. The only downside is theyre closed on Wednesdays, but hey.... they deserve a day off after all the good work they put in the rest of the week.

When my wife and I lived in Norwalk we used to frequent the La Habra Claros location all the time, so when we moved to DTLA I was bummed there wasnt a Claros nearby. Behold! First timer today, and got to say the owner and family that run the store are amazing kind people. I got lucky and was greeted by Bob at the door and mentioned to him I was a first time customer. He gave me a quick tour of the store. I wanted an itlsina cold sub, so I searched up Italian delis around me. Claros was 4 min from me. I ordered the spicy Mike large, half pund of their chicken salad, and a canoli! Will definitely be back and I am grateful I found such an amazing Italian deli in the Rosemead area.

Fantastic place authentic Italian cuisine. Wonderful pork sausage very fresh. I love that they sell everything Italian from olive oil to mozzarella. Wonderful variety of great wine and champagne. Love this place. If youre looking for any ingredients to make an Italian dish, you want an excellent sandwich (the Great Grandpa Joe is my favorite), or want some prepared hot foods, theyll probably have what youre looking for. And in the refrigerated food area, some of the best garlic bread Ive ever had. Just unwrap it, pop it in the oven and eat. Highly recommended. Just wish they were open later.

Love this place! This is the ultimate neighborhood market. Its small, cute, and very rustic. As you enter, you can see their pastry cases while you walk around to enter the actual market itself. They have decent selection of Italian groceries (obviously) as I was able to find the vinegar Ive been looking for. Also you have to try their canolli. One of the best in the area!

This place is pretty awesome, from the service, to the selection, to the pizza! This is a really cute place tucked in San Gabriel. With a break from all the Asian food, Im happy this place is here. They have a great selection of foods, a hot bar, and even ready made pizza (which is one of the better ready made pizzas Ive had). They also have some nicer cheeses and free parking. They send out coupons through email if you want to save a few books.I am always happy coming here. A great place to shop.

Stopped by for a quick easy meal and decided to order 3 meatballs a la cart. Ended up being about $4 and really hit the spot. My issue with this place in the past was their bread, especially with pre made sandwiches. They tasted like day old bread, but issue was moot this time and easier to eat out of a box the with a fork. I will have to try a sandwich next time when i have a bit more time and am hungrier but happy I decided to give them a try after about 7 years.

Wonderful fragrant Italian Deli . Old school flavorful meats and large variety of wines. Grab a slice of pizza available only on Saturday and Sunday, unless you special order . What I Ordered- Spicy Mike- Cousin CarolineIve been wanting to try Claros for years! Never gotten around to it... but thanks to SGV Eats for recommending it and reminding me that I do. Couldnt decide which sandwiches to get and just opted to get two to try. The Spicy Mike blew me away. Sooooo good. Not spicy at all (although I wished it was since I love spicy!)Cousin Caroline was good but not as good as the Spicy Mike. Not sure if it was the mustard or garlic salame... just didnt like something about it. Will definitely need to stop by in store one day to look at their frozen goodies!

Love this place, great sandwiches at the back deli counter, you usually get to see a massive cheese log hanging from the ceiling, staff is always super friendly.......and then you get to the best part..... The desert case on the way to the register.... The raspberry squares are to die for, I think my wife would live off of them if she could! Ive only used the market and the bakery before, which have all the ingredients I have needed for my authentic Italian recipes, but this time I made it back to the deli for a lunch pickup. and well, they are the real deal. one item I look for to judge an Italian deli is a good sharp provolone, and theirs us awesome. Ive lived in the SGV my whole life and only recently discovered this spot. Man have I been missing out. Ive tried their subs and cookies. The subs bread has a crisp bite to it with a nice fluffy texture on the inside, and the meat/vegetables all tasted fresh. The cookies (lemon drop, chocolate chip and brownie) all had a homemade taste. I didnt buy any of there cooking products, but they appeared to have a large selection.

Italian market with specialty food items imported from Italy. Delicious hot food items, hot and cold sandwiches, side dishes, cookies, pastries and a deli. Everything is delicious. Wide variety and selection of meats and cheeses. Sausages and lasagna are delicious, and can be bought cold/frozen and cooked at home. Great place to pick up lunch, or items for a picnic.

Went here as a child and have many wonderful memories of all the fabulous meats, cheeses, and breads throughout the year, and the fabulous pastries for special occasions! Love the Pecorino Romano and baccala! Now we frequent the Tustin location and we still get the same excellent quality of food and service. Claros is a small italian market filled with fresh flavorful deli meats and cheeses. This is the place you go to for specialty meats, not your typical ham and turkey. You wont to come across this place unless you really explore san gabriel. This place is nice bc there arent too many great and authentic Italian markets to shop at in both LA and SGV. I come here for when I need to restock some of my most important ingredients like porcini mushrooms or proscuitto ham. The staff here are nice and very attentive. Come by here..its definitely worth the visit. Everyone needs a little bit of Italiano.

I love Claros! Its the best place on the east side to get quality Italian goods. Im a great fan of tiramisu, and they have a frozen tiramisu that they have prepared that is a MUST HAVE! I know, kind of sacrilege to praise a previously frozen dessert, but trust me! If the tiramisu isnt enough, grab a few dozen cookies. DAMN! Claros isnt cheap, but you pay for the quality.
