Claros Italian Markets in Upland

Claros Italian Market is a family favorite. Our go-to stores are located in La Habra and Upland; there are a handful of others as well. If you want authentic Italian meats, olive oils, or pasta, Claros is your market. Having a party? Check out Claros; their meat/cheese trays and famous giant ring sandwich is a must serve. If youre hungry for a delicious sandwich, Claros is the place!! I would suggest ordering ahead; custom made sandwiches take time and it can get very busy at times!!

Been here twice and tried their delicious freshly made sandwiches and was not disappointed they were great! They have a big selection of Italian products. What I really love about this store is their amazing cannolis! They’re so good and they’re big! As of September 2023 they’re 4.99 each but so worth it because you won’t regret buying them so good!

Claros is one of those places that always reminds me of home, I dont know why? Its the familiar smells, the treats, the friendly staff, the great selection of products from the old world. Its always happy time when I order mortadella with pistachios.

Score: 100/100 A solid A+Oh man where to begin, they had this lovely amazing atmosphere. My friend brought me here and the wonderful staff even announced that one of their staff was having a baby girl. The food itself was awesome. They are a market and deli but that sandwich was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was so good. They’ve been open since 1948! Absolutely wonderful! I’m excited to go back soon!

I was introduced here over 4 and a half years ago. Sandwich menu is so vast there is a need to try each one at least once or twice then again definitely more. They have a variety of pastries that are worthwhile good eats. A massive variety of meats and cheese to pick and choose from to make your own slice of life whatever that may be. Theres so much in this place that I would need to almost write a dissertation to be able to describe most items in this place.

I seriously do not know why Ive never stopped in here! I was missing out!!! I am a local and heard about it but I didnt give myself the chance to check it out until today. Very clean, AUTHENTIC and even the deli gentleman that helped me was above and beyond! Overall 5+ star experience! I ordered a couple things and a sandwich from the deli. Wow. I thought Ive had great sandwiches before, this one takes the cake! Every ingredient was fresh and delicious! I can honestly say I had a taste of Italy stopping by here today. I definitely will be a regular customer from now on and will suggest this place to any one asking me about Italian food 😁

Location:Good, Parking okay, Service:Good, Hiring: yes (as of this review), Overall: I have been here once before and the deli line was packed, tha sandwiches made there are fresh and delicious. If you are looking for true Italian food fare I can think of no other. I will Come back as long as the doors remain open but gotta figure the best time time to get in and out. Expect a wait for a sandwich but you will enjoy.

Great lunch or dinner special, which consists of meat lasagna, egg plant, meats ball, or sausage with generous marinara sauce(upon request) if you ask and cheese for $12.99Great gnocchi, truly authentic Italian food (just like grandma used to make). They have a plentiful frozen section if you prefer to prepare or cook an authentic Italian meal at home.If you dont live next to one of their locations, take a drive.ITS WORTH IT!!!

Customer service excellent has had mispriced issue, they went above & beyond to rectify. The food options are so amazing. Prepared deli sandwiches are the best!

Such an amazing find. We come from RI which has a very large Italian population. We have been very spoiled with what is some of the best Italian food this side of Italy!!! Claro’s is as close to “home” as we have found.!!!! The choices are delicious, no disappointments other than the limited “salad bar” choices. I can live with that.We have had the frozen meals, excellent. !!! Being Italian myself, that is big praise from me!!!! I am used to crunchy Italian bread, when unfortunately they don’t have. Another minor detail (no big deal)Other than the two things I mentioned? ….. What a great find ! We drive from Redlands, not far, but we are spoiled 🤣I had a freshly made meatball sandwich, I’m very picky about my meatballs. The sandwich was delicious, it was hard to share a bite with my husband…… I give them 7 stars if that was a rating. We won’t go anywhere else !!!!!
