I have to say that this is a little gem of a market. I am American Italian and finding store that specializes in true Italian food and having a deli attached to it makes me delighted. I dont always get the chance to go but when I do I make it a trip worth taking. I try to grab a little bit of everything. From pasta to Italian candies to the desserts to fresh baked bread and definitely one of their delicious sandwiches. You have to try them please do you will not regret it. Also while you are at it grab a drink and a cookie make it a meal.

Ive been going to this place since I was a kid, delicious sandwiches, fresh meats, and a great place to pick up sandwiches and Italian essentials this place can get pretty packed we went about 1hr before closing on a Saturday and the door kept opening with customers up to the last min. staff is friendly . food is great.be ready to spend some dough tho 3 small sandwiches 3 drinks and 2 bags of chips ran us almost 50 bucks .

Came after seeing their sandwiches mentioned in the LA Times and the sandwiches are amazing. Will definitely be coming back. The place does get a bit busy so there may be a wait but its all made to order so thats expected (and better).

Small market with hard to find Italian delights. I can’t wait to go back for groceries. Today I got a sandwich, Grandpa’s sandwich and some sides and it’s all hitting. I thought the macaroni salad was looking all bad, but they sale it so I could be wrong. Thank gawd I was wrong and it was some of the best macaroni salad I’ve had. The sandwich was clutch and hit all the right spots. The workers are friendly and excited to have you in their shop.

My favorite place to shop for all things Italian. This family own Italian Chian store sells all the Italian ingredients needed to create fantastic Italian meals. Besides the ingredients, you can also get custom made Italian sandwiches here.I also found that I can breads and cookies here. Daily baked fresh cookies and breads are authentic Italian styles. Sourdough breads are very good here as well.For those who love to make their own pizza, they have ready make doughs and pizza sauce as well as pepperonis. I guess I will be making pizza today for dinner.Will be back to peruse more items to find ingredients to make other Italian dishes.

If youre looking for an authentic Italian sandwich, ask for the Jacob, its not on the menu. Of course Jacob needs to be working in order to make it for you. The Spicy Mike is your plan B.Tell Jacob, Bryan Dorsey from Danger Snacks sent you. Hell know who I am.Get the large size... Youre essentially getting double the sangwich for two bucks more. Youll absolutely love the sangwich.I told the owner once she should put the Jacob on the menu, and she promptly said We dont put any sandwiches on the menu that arent family members.I thought two things. They dont care about their customers feedback, nor do they care about their loyal and creative employees. But I still go back anyway cuz Jacob is awesome!Id tell you what else I buy at that market to buy, but I dont want it to be out of stock so Im going to keep my mouth shut. 👊🔥

Love their sandwiches. But even just walking in smells so awesome as described by my 16 year old.They have hot foods like lasagna in addition to the freshly sliced and made sandwiches.Other than that, they have lots of Italian everything from wine, to olive oil, to tomato sauce, to bread and pastries.If you havent visited them, do yourself a favor and check it out!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this Claros having tried the Tustin location. I think they are nicer, maybe just the person at the register. I get the sandwiches, and its hard to resist the cookies.

Claros is the stuff of my childhood. I grew going to the San Gabriel location. Arcadia lives up to the same standards. I dont think there is anything here that has disappointed me ever. The deli meat is always fresh. The sausages in all the different flavors are delicious and well made.

This is the best Claros by far. The Italian ladies are so attentive, patient and charitable. They are happy to explain to you their products as well as to provide what you need. you can tell they are authentic as their staff in the deli counter are also like their owners. Delicious sandwiches, homemade breads and cookies as well as imported goids and products from Italy. They were not bothered by some kids running around. Thete is complimentary coffee and assorted italian cookie pieces.

An excellent Italian market, bakery, deli and sandwich shop. Authentic Italian sweet and savory. The Italian ice is top notch as are the gorgeous cookies and bread. Their sandwiches are the perfect picnic fare. There is a parking lot in the back and cute shopping carts so you can load up on gorgeous pasta sauces and treats.

I have been coming to here when I am craving for a sandwich or ingredients for tiramisu. The deli section is well organized. Customers need to pick a number in order to be served. I always get great grandpa joe, and it has never disappointed me. Sandwich might be a bit on the pricy side, but the quality of meat is great! I am willing to pay more for this quality.Staff was very friendly and helpful. I witnessed an incident how a staff took care of a not so pleasant situation. A staff was assisting a customer with bake goods. The customer wanted to purchase some cookies. When the staff used a tong to pick up the cookies. The customer said it out loud (loud that the whole store can hear her) that “did you wash your hands?” I found that pretty rude. I worked in the food industry that we all required to wash our hands before handling food. Plus, some of us even went to school for learning all these rules. The staff was super professional and maintain his calm by informing the customers that he washed his hands before handling her food. Good job staff!There was plenty of parking spots in the back. Parking is not an issue.

Love this place! Ive been to two of their locations. Both carry the same items, although Ive only been able to find garlic spread (for making your own garlic bread) at this location. Their ready-to-heat garlic bread is some of the best Ive had. Their fresh made sandwiches in the deli area are excellent. So much more stuff to try here, but I just havent gotten the chance.

Italian deli with quality cuts of Italian meats, pastries and other great Italian goods such as wines, pizzas ready to pop in the oven, vinaigrette dressings and a variety of chocolates & breads,, you name it.. pretty much everything is Italian made or imported. I ordered an Italian sandwich and it was very tasty and well prepared. Lots of meats and sausages.. if your into quality and great service, this is the place. In which you would have to grab a number, which is convenient so your not standing in 1 spot the entire time with that said they have a great selections of premade foods that you can just heat up! This was my first time here. I ordered a large Italian cold cut sandwich. Maybe it was called Grandpa Joes? It was very good and service was friendly. The seating is outside so better to go on a cooler day than today (about 95 to 100 degrees). I want to come back to try some of their pastries, frozen ravioli etc. Everything looked great

I think going to claro since I was a little kid. I love it when you first walk in and you smell the food theyre cooking. Great place to buy meats and Salamis because they let you try a slice first before you buy. I come here often just to buy the imported mozzarella from Italy when Im making pizza. mozzarella from Italian cows is the most incredible tasting cheese you could ever have on a pizza. They also make great sandwiches. If youre looking to buy groceries to make an Italian dinner then you cant go wrong here.

Its a nice place to get the rare and select items you didnt know you needed, but make a meal more authentic. I do caution you, please check all exertion dates. Since this place is a rare place in a sea of non-italian foods, the products arent always in high demand and thus, sit on the shelf for a bit longer. Although the shelves are clean and dusted, that jar of sauce or pickled something might be a month over due.I still recommend the dough and the bakery. Hands down wonderful.

We were preparing a special Italian meal and needed help. The staff here is great if you do not know just ask. On our list was sweet and hot Italian sausage, good olive oil, canned tomatoes and of course pasta. Cannot forget the cheese and deserts. Our meal was a success with the sausages, olive oil and pasta being the stand out portions of our presentation. The pasta was exceptional, never had it before but we will be going back. Large public parking lot in the back. If for no other reason you need to go to experience the aromas just as you walk into their store.

Its a family owned store with free parking in back. Near train & bus stations. Its also wheelchair accessible, though the ramp from the back door is a little steep.

This place is a little slice of heaven! Im a huge sandwich fan so any deli that can serve up a well made sandwich is good in my book. They have much more than just sandwiches, but thats what I enjoy most about Claros. Their sandwiches are made to order from scratch using fresh, high quality ingredients. In addition, they have a wide selection of deli sides, many of which I had never heard of before. The food was delicious and fairly priced. They also sell wine, other alcoholic beverages, and nonalcoholic drinks as well. If youre in the area then definitely check out Claros because it will not disappoint!

The have many of the products that I purchased in Italy and cant do without. They are the only place in the area that I can buy fresh yeast. I usually buy one of their made to order sandwiches for lunch, they are excellent and remind me of the time before Subway ruined peoples idea of a submarine or torpedo sandwich.

Authentic delis are gradually going extinct in our country. Thankfully, stores like Claros are still in business. Excellent selection of pasta, imported flour, olive oil and balsamic, and close to 20 different choices for arborio rice! Great canned and dried good imports, as well as cheese, meat, bakery and deli. Lines are a bit long but move fairly fast. All staff are friendly and helpful. Great store.

Frank, Veronica,, Jacob and the rest of the Crew at the Arcadia store are always pleasant, helpful and super knowledgeable about their products. Poor customer service. Arrived with my father, who has alzheimers, there is no line. 2 other customers in the market. 5 employees behind deli counter. I took a number, my father is trying to ask anyone a question thru his mask. Ignore...ignore...ignore. employees avoiding eye contact. The employees on the floor wouldnt help him. Said something to the girl at the register, who flatly excused their behavior as theyre busy! Absolutely no recognition from not one employee, except blatant ignorance. Lived in Arcadia 60 plus years. Claro s employees have never been this rude. Really sad!
