Best smog shop Ive ever been to, super friendly extremely reasonable and not to mention complimentary snacks and coffee super clean, cozy, cute environment 10/10 I highly recommend. They even have a DMV department here.

Waited for almost an hour only had one person a head of me. I got my car fixed two days ago and to tell me it did not passed smog. Could have asked me in the first place I guess it’s about business not the customer. Told me I had to drive 100 miles. Not coming back.

They charge 60 for a smog check. But my vehicle failed because of 1 Oxygen sensor due to a new battery. The only way to fix it is to drive the car more. They charged me 52 dollars for a failure THEN ask 30 more dollars for a retest. Most places ask 40 for the test and don’t charge for failure. I regret every going here. Don’t waste your time. For people with religious text everywhere they sure don’t know about Matthew 7:12 or Matthew 6:19-20.

Nice waiting room, very comfortable. Lots of drinks to choose from. Very quick friendly service for smog. DMV services seem quick too. Prices are average. A bit disappointed in order of operations. I recently had to replace my battery which caused a not ready status which seems to be a common problem. So I had to pay for the inspection, then go drive around for 50 miles, come back, and pay again for a reinspection. Would have saved both of us time and saved me a little money if they just asked me if I have had anything done to the car recently when I first arrived.

The owner is very friendly and the price is right. Shop is welcoming with Americana decor. Lobby has lots of seating and great snacks and drinks but you may not be there long enough to enjoy it because the service is FAST! Thank you!!

Highly recommend this place, it was fast service experience, and not much line to wait. Comfortable waiting area with free snacks and drinks provided for the customers, they accept walk-in, I was able to get my car service done for smog check within 20 mins. Convenient and easy to find location. Wonderful customer service and staff were accomodating and polite to customer needs. Highly recommend this shop, guaranteed service will get it done without delay or hassle. Will definitely come back again in the future.

Great experience at this place. Staff was attentive and kind, the decor was comfortable and welcoming (snacks, coffee bar, tea, etc). I came in on a Saturday 45 minutes before closing. I was in and out in around 15 minutes. Thank you for making my smog experience surprisingly pleasant!

Got my 2000 Toyota Sienna van smog tested here. It was very quick and at reasonable price. Nice, very clean place with coffee and snacks in the waiting area. Provides all DMV services also but did not use them because I had to go to DMV. Although I am new in town and was going there for the first time, most of the clients seemed to be old, regular Customers. Always a good sign that place is very popular.

This should be everyones go to place the atmosphere inside was very welcoming. They provide coffee, tea, and snacks while you wait. I took in my 85 oldsmobile and they took the time to go over it and make sure itd pass smog. Ill definitely be using Clovis Smog for all my vehicle registration and smog needs!

I dreaded going to get my car smog, AAA insurance referred me to Clovis Smog, and I am so glad they did. My experience was great, they helped me quickly, no wait. They had a comfortable waiting area with coffee, and twinkies too! They had me in and out in less than half an hour. It was affordable and my car passed the first time! If you need a smog I highly recommend using Clovis Smog!!!

Love the ice cream shop feel when waiting. Small place. Friendly and fast service. Not a lot of parking areas but you wont be waiting long especially early on Saturday. They open at 7am when most people are sleeping in. There is a fully loaded coffee bar, soda machine, and snacks too. And the best thing of all is a poster of the United States Constitution on the wall. Fabulous place. Reasonable price for a smog.

This is the best place to get a smog check! We were in and out in 10 minutes. The waiting area is amazing. There were two extremely well behaved puppies behind the counter. They never even barked. The waiting is stocked with a variety of coffees, hot chocolate, apple cider, and snacks. It was also very affordable. We were in the area and so happy we found this place. We live 1.5 hours away and I expect to return anytime we need a smog check. Also because Clovis is such a neat town.

My second time taking my vehicle to Clovis Smog...again was greeted as soon as I walked in (by the owners and their dogs). My vehicle didnt pass the first time due to a couple of sensors not being ready for testing (first experience with this). They recommended to drive around for a good 30 miles and come back allowing the car to set the ecu. After 30 miles I came back and was helped immediately (didnt even get out of my car yet). The car passed and Im a happy camper. Definitely recommend coming here, plus they have coffee and snacks :)

Getting the smog done is one of those necessary evils you have to go through every couple years. Kind of like jury duty. I have to say that Clovis Smogs was not only painless but honestly a pleasant experience. I was in and out in 20 minutes with my smog cert in hand. Waiting area was super clean and welcoming with a huge spread of coffees and teas. Will definitely be bringing my other cars here in the future.

The technician failed my car which is fine, but it passed all tests and he said he couldn’t pass it because the “headers looked modified” I’ve never touched the headers on the car and just bought it from my cousin who made sure it was all stock. Before he failed it, we checked up on him in the testing area and he was looking at pictures on his computer of the stock headers and they looked EXACTLY the same. We asked how it was going and he told us he thought they may be aftermarket headers, but wasn’t sure and remarked that he hadn’t honestly worked on many Lexus’ before. If it failed the visual inspection, he could have just told me it wouldn’t pass and foregone the other tests so he wouldn’t have to charge me. He decided to run all the tests and charge a college kid $50 just based on his hunch. I hope the tech feels good about doing that because the rest of the smog shops I’ve been to on Clovis/Barstow have INTEGRITY and MORALS have never done that to me and in fact have sent me away without charging me because a car wouldn’t pass the visual inspection. Kudos to you, technician guy; you lost a customer and I will warn everyone I know to stay as far away from your shop as possible.

Updated review: So I went to them again to get smog and this time we did not pass the test. Why? Because, according to the papers, in 2014 the previous owner (who I bought the car from) put in a part that made it fail visual inspection. In 2018, (when I bought the car) I went to Clovis smogs and it passed. Now, when I talked to the other guy, he said we kept records of the vehicles and mine wasnt in there and the other guy was shady and passed vehicles. If you knew he did that then the company should have notified all the drivers that was under his care. And if you kept records you should have able to see my car was previously smog at your location.
