I’ve lived in Taiwan and been to Japan a few times. This is the best Ramen I’ve had in the States so far. Well done! The chashu was cooked to perfection.

Perhaps my standards are higher since I’m an international student & been to Japan several times, but their ramen is fine for US standards.I recommend their miso ramen with pork belly.Their house gyoza & takoyaki is good though!

A little taste of Japan... This place definitely hit the spot. They have amazing options for raman bowls, all of them good. The service was great, the prices were good and the decorations were great. This place is super busy too. In the time since we got there like five or six door dash orders came in to pick up. Obviously they are doing something right here.

Fantastic food that was surprisingly authentic, LARGE servings and great prices! Tall Orion beer for $8 is the best for the hot days. If you like spicy, I would go with Extra hot 🌶 ! Can’t wait to go back and try the rest!

Great little ramen place. Had vegetarian options that I assume could be made vegan easily. The music playing was kinda all over the place but it wasnt loud enough to ruin the vibes. The food was great and the staff was friendly.

By far the best experience Ive had in any noodle house. Hands down. I order from Cocos often, but there is something about being able to sit in the restaurant and having it be so fresh in front of you, that makes the taste so much better.I tried the Fish Ramen this evevning, and I am sure I have found a new favorite! The beoth was rich, the fish and squid meat were cooked just right, and I found myself not wanting to put it down!Dine in is an option again at Cocos, but please be curtious to those around you. The tables are wiped down often, and drinks are not served in cups at this time. (You can ask for one though)The service is wonderful and the staff is attentive. They dont miss a beat. They also leave cute art work on your receipt.Definitely made me a happy human. 😊

I ordered this PHO through Door Dash.. it was AMAZING !! Very good I am so happy I found them... Tonkotsu Ramen - Rich and I ordered extra pork belly and hot .. with noodles and cabbage.. This will be two meals for me.. YUMMY!! Highly Recommend !

This is good, but very expensive. The basic price is $13-15, but add a protein that is not included like chicken or fish, and its another $3. So for 2 people its easy to spend $36 and that doesnt include appetizers or drinks. Portions are generous. I get ours to go. Atmosphere isnt much. I will eat there again, but not often because of the price.

This place was pretty good. Pricey but delicious. They have some seats that face out the window which was nice. But they also had a cool looking ramen stand. Pork belly was good, if you like spicy the hot was good but I wished I had gotten it spicier. They give you your own pitcher if water and it was amazing!!

The soup was mediocre at best. They should have posted (fat) instead of pork belly because thats all it was. Each added shrimp is $1 each and its not even peeled. Ive had way better ramen than this. Surprised it has such a high rating.

I didnt understand the fuss about ramen until I had their veggie ramen. Its a little expensive, but for a good reason. I could guzzle the broth alone (medium spicy was plenty spicy for me) but their noodles are excellent as well. I dont normally like or eat eggs, but the way they do the egg is incredible! Literally just finished my food and I had to come leave a review, it was that good. I ordered it to go and it was securely packaged and still hot when I got home. Will definitely eat here again.

Average ramen overall. The broth was a little plain with a bit of an odd after taste. The noodles were good with a nice bouncy texture. The pork belly was decent, pretty fatty without being dry. The worst part of the meal was the egg. The egg was over marinated and had become crumbly and crystalized due to sitting in the soy based marinate for too long. This gave it a weird taste and rubbery texture despite the yolk still being somewhat soft. I think the egg is what gave the both a strange after taste.Id say this place is better than the other ramen place in town but definitely could be better.

The waitresses were nice, but would never recommend this place. Cramped, sat people right next to us when we werent at the bar. I ordered a miso beef ramen, you can pay for extra toppings, I got NO beef, and they still tried to charge me for extra beef. The wait for the food was far too long. The size of the ramen, along with the toppings that were not generous at all, made this ramen too overpeiced. The spice was actually okay, but the eggs werent properly heated in the bowl Tasted like it came fresh out the freezer. My friend got the seafood one, only 3 shrimp which he had to peel HISMELF. Only one muscle and again, skimped on the toppings. This was definitely not worth our money.

The chicken scewers we ordered came to us ice cold. Cold enough that i could taste the ice from the freezer. The ramen was mediocre and overpriced. I overheard others complaining that the mochi was cold and others in the restaurant were also not happy. I even overheard the waitress saying it would cost $2 for every check if they split more than 2 ways which I find rediculous. Probably the only good thing about going there was that the waitresses were very nice. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

It tasted ok. Not great. I ordered a ramen with beef. The beef tasted off so I didnt eat it. The cabbage was mostly from the core.. I usually love cabbage, but didnt enjoy it here. The service was good. Atmosphere was good.

Egg in ramen had gone bad and had white spots on it. The noodles were just top of ramen noodles. Several of there ingredients tasted like they like they had just came from a can.

Service is good staff is nice. Food isnt bad but not delicious. I have tried the spicy miso pork belly twice and its not good. Again its ok. From socal and have had ramen from LA and OC. Cocos ramen is different and no where near as good. People in chico dont know what good Hispanic food is what good ramen is.

The waitress was. Rude I ask twice for my drink before dinner. And when I asked her for the same service that she gave the young guys at the bar she keep the great service by lossing the order to make us wait. Only thing looking back I would of done different is I should of walked out when she raised her voice to me. Chico has so meany good places to eat no need to eat at a place that when all said and done you dont feel it is safe to eat the food I left mine!! Never again!

Service was slow, menu is not up to date. Faucet water is gross, the appetizer sauce could of been better. Ordered beef tongue but instead got regular beef meat. My broth was really watered down, tonkatsu is suppose to have rich flavor, not sure but the pork belly was really soggy like its been in the broth for way to long. The noodle didnt taste fresh or hand made, looked like store bought ramen you cook at home. If you go and taste the ramen in south sacramento you can tell the difference right away. Overall service and food quality, needs a big improvement before it can call itself a ramen shop

The broth was probably the only good thing on my meal. My noodles were over cooked, carrots and red onions were under cooked in my curry ramen. It’s a shame, it used to be good when it first opened.

Hands down this is the best ramen Ive had in Chico for the best price. The Tonkatsu broth is just as Rich as described in the menu. The charsiu was delicious with just the right amount of char on it. We also tried the takoyaki and grilled squid which were both really fantastic! I will definitely be coming back as soon as possible!

Service is hit and miss.!! Sometimes they have a a very attentive and efficient staff. We came here for the ramen after the first ramen restaurant we went to had failed at authenticity, and this ramen tastes exactly right! Completely flavorful with spice and saltiness.

Their Ramen is great, but if Im being entirely honest I constantly find myself spending money on the UCC canned coffee they have which is great. They have great service and are always friendly I cant recommend them enough.
