Read about this spot in the LA times and it lived up to the hype! We tried the #47 combo plate Com Tam with tau hu ky and Vietnamese sausage. It was flavor packed. I specifically really enjoyed the bbq shrimp and the tau hu ky fish cake. Service was quick and friendly! Would love to go back and try more.

This was our first time here for lunch. We all enjoyed our broken rice meal. Service was fast and efficient. Our order was wrong but they quickly fixed it and did not have any issues. Both servers were very friendly. Prices are fair. Will be back here to eat again.

Our goto when we are in town. cơm tấm has smaller portion, specially the rice, not proportional to the meat ingredients for $13 average each, menu price not updated anywhere, typical... Time to seek out their competitors ☹️. Latest Menu attached, hope it helps

Asked the owner what was freshest - she of course “everything”.Order the combo rice plate #1. Well guess what, pork was at least a day old, regrouped, tasted like jerky.One thing I dislike is dishonesty, and especially point blank dishonesty.Disappointed and utterly disgusted.

What can I say ! This authentic vietnamese cuisine is amazing !! So tasty !!I honestly can say that is place is best of the best. They just reopened after 1 year been closed due pandemia. Not all my favourite dishes came back yet. We ordered Luc lac - beef made so fresh and so delicious !! Amazingly fresh and very unique taste ! I dont know who is The chef, but this person got amazing skills! Bravo !!

If you love broken rice dishes or “Cơm tấm” this is the place to go. The price is affordable for the quality and amount of food you get.I order take out or dine in at this location all the time.The staff is nice and I always look forward to eating here.

Gave my son a small plate when we never asked for a small. And when asked why we got a small plate the waiter got us a bigger plate and moved all the food on to it. We asked for water and only got 3 glasses for the 5 of us.

Pretty good broken rice place. Very similar to other spots in little Saigon. The meat here is cooked more and is drier than most places. They are probably worried about contamination so they cook the meat longer and gets dried out. Overall not bad.

This is a great place for vietnamese style grilled meats (bbq). They also specialize in broken rice. Very generous portion sizes that can easily feed 2 and low prices. All meals come with complimentary a jello dessert and combination broken rice plates come with complimentary soup. Theres plenty of parking and seating on top of everything else.

Their pho is very good and they give you plenty of meat. Our son visiting from Colorado liked their Bun Cha Hanoi so well that hes ordered it three times in the past 10 days. Their fresh coconut juice is perfect, although the large quantity of ice displaces a lot of juice, leaving you with a very small portion. Their egg rolls are very tasty but the past two times Ive had them they tasted of rancid oil, so they need to change their oil more frequently. This is a great alternative to going all the way into Little Saigon from Costa Mesa for authentic Vietnamese food.

The pho is really good with rare steak and brisket. The broth is one of the best I have had in the area. The noodles are flat, not round like other pho place, and they take up less space. So that means more broth and sprouts! I always call ahead to pickup my order and its always ready for me. Super convenient too. Plus its next to Lees so I grab a warm baggette to enjoy with my pho ( whatever is left of the bread because I tend to eat it all on my way home)

!!!!!!! COCKROACH INFESTED!!!!!!!As I was waiting for my order I felt something crawling at my foot. I look down and saw a roach. Then as I look up another one crawling on d wall. I immediately addressed this to my server... he just stared at me and walked away. I felt as he ignored me. After I stood up to leaved a nice older lady from behind the counter approached to inquired, why I was leaving in Vietnamese . Before I could response to her... the same server rudely interjected me and said he was difficult to his mom. This server thought I didnt understand him because I only communicated with him in English during my brief time there.

The food was ok for the price charged, which is a bit expensive in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, staff was ruded, the wait is long, 30 mins + for to go, phone order. Unlikely to comeback, I do not recommend this place unless you have nothing to do but wait for your food!

I ordered 2 portions of broken rice: 1- spring rolls, tofu ki and bao, 2- grilled meat, tofu ki and bao. All 2 parts of cashew nuts are missing. Tofu ky was very chewy and not crispy but I wanted it. Not as delicious as I saw in google reviews. I forgot to take pictures to post for everyone to see

I bought 6 servings of pork rice and egg rolls yesterday, it was very difficult to eat because the meat was not grilled, like it was put on a gas stove and taken out very quickly so it smelled of smoke and gas, very difficult to smell. I bought it for some relatives in my family to eat. Everyone had to try and cut out the meat because they couldnt eat it. I tried washing the meat in boiling water but the smell didnt help. Making food is so careless. It cost more than $50 but the food was terrible.
