2023-11-24 03:10:34This is a wonderful place. The food is top notch for sure. Ive eaten most of the menu and rarely been even a little disappointed. Im not even a fan of wine but their sangria is amazing.

2023-10-24 17:14:32Lovely place to have nice and selective wine and liquor, not to mention we had a beautiful time and nice breakfast in patio areas. Make sure to have advanced reservations. Even though we were being patient on food serving time, but overall services, it didnt bother at all. Each and every one was very curtious and professional. I strongly recommend visiting this place for your own experience. Keep up the great work. 👍

2022-08-18 18:22:05This is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’re somewhere else. Everything about it is amazing. My husband and I always entrust the servers to give recommendations on wine. We love to get the charcuterie boards and usually pair it with soup and dessert. We love to pick out one or two cheeses and let our server decide the rest. We haven’t had many of their meals, sometimes we get appetizers, the crab cakes were perfectly cooked on our last visit. I also really enjoy their tiramisu, it’s a huge piece so we’ll share half and bring the other half home. My husband loves the French onion soup, and I love the lobster bisque. They often do events like special meals with wine pairings, and they usually have live music on the weekends. If you make a reservation note that you could end up inside or outside. This isn’t really a spot for large groups, it takes away from the experience, I wouldn’t come here with more than 4 or 6people (even 6 seems like a lot for this establishment). If you don’t have a reservation, sitting at the bar is always a great experience.

2023-12-02 05:27:38The only reason this restaurant, if that’s what they call themselves, gets a star is because they have a decent wine list at a reasonable price. Otherwise, our experience tonight was absolutely miserable. A group of healthcare professionals booked a table to celebrate a milestone achievement for one of the programs at the nearby hospital. We ordered two bottles of quite expensive wine worth about $500. Never mind that they didn’t have our first choice; it happens. Then, after quite a long wait, the appetizers came. I have never seen a bruschetta served as pieces of cheap, mushy bread toast separate from the toppings, which came in a salad bowl. It was pretty much a “make your own bruschetta,” and it tasted disgusting. The olives and cheese plate were tasteless. We shrugged it off and ordered the main entrees. Five of us ordered the same main course. After at least 20 more minutes, the waitress returned to inform us that “unfortunately, the dish we had ordered is not available.” By that time, one of us, who had ordered an appetizer as an entree, left without being served because she got tired of waiting. We were quite shocked by the casual, nonchalant attitude, but as we were very hungry, we went with alternative choices, all of which arrived overcooked. Another waiter bringing the dishes had no idea who was ordering what and just threw the plates on the table. Worst of all, there was zero remorse or apology from the staff or the manager, and of course, the check had arrived in full, including the 18% “big party tip.” I won’t even go into minor details, such as the absolutely horrendous French onion soup, forgetting sugar, water, and wine glasses, etc.I don’t know if this establishment has management (no one came to talk to us), but if so, you should be ashamed of how you treated us tonight. Your staff’s attitude was ridiculous, and they obviously take no pride whatsoever in what they do. We paid in full and left. If any of you guys happen to be at the nearby hospital (God forbid), please do come see us. We will teach you what “taking good care of people” is all about, from A to Z. Shame on you for ruining our evening.

2023-07-02 22:50:02Our server was awesome, wish I remembered her name to give her a shout-out. The food was really good but wish the serving size made me sense. For the appetizers, it was more food than expected which I have no complaints about. Loved that. But then the entrees came and they were smaller than expected, especially for the price. The food was delicious tho. It is all wine and sojus as far as the alcohol goes. No substitute for like liquor or anything. Not a knock on the place at all considering their theme, just a heads up to those thinking that their might be something else if they are going with a group of wine drinkers

2023-10-22 23:40:08This was so relaxing and comfortable for the ladies brunch. We got to be served from the owner which I thought it was awesome, and he was so polite and informative. I appreciate him being the one to help us out. Will be returning every girls night.

2023-04-01 17:30:36Lovely wine bar! I had the white wine flight, Chardonnay, Viognier & Pinot Grigio. Great tasting. They have a wide selection of whites and reds. Food is also very good. Had a charcuterie board with very delicious cheeses and meats. Awesome place for a night out with the girls!

2023-09-24 02:59:29Absolutely adorable place. The food is excellent, the atmosphere remind me of a Napa valley tasting room. Above all is the knowledgeable and friendly staff who know their wines and can help you find the best wine to pair with your meal. I’ll 100% be back.

2023-07-04 17:18:04Complexity Wine does a fine service to fill the void for fine dining in Lancaster. The decor and ambiance inside almost set you in another place all together. The servers are very attentive and well versed in pairing wine with your dish.Weve been here numerous times, however, this time we had family and guests in town from Rosarito. A party of 8. Reservations are required for a party this size. Actually I would recommend making reservations regardless.Needless to say, our group had a wonderful time. All the dishes were right on in flavor and presentation. As mentioned service was timely and thoughtful and patient.I personally ordered the Caprese Salad with grilled chicken. It was simple but still very delicious. Several folks ordered the Impastabilities dish. I have had that as well and let me say one of the top dishes. The rib-eye was ordered and prepared perfectly.Im sorry I didnt t have pics. Obviously that would have been helpful given the size of the group. I just dont enjoy being that person taking pictures of food while dining. LolI have no hesitation recommending Complexity Wine for a fine dining experience. Prices are reasonable. Parking is fine. They are only open for evening dining. So do make reservations even if for a party of 2. They do have bar seating, so if a small party, consider the bar option if time is an issue.Easily accessible for the 14 at 20th St W. On the corner of 20th and J8.
