We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Copenhagen Corner today! The danish pastry + coffee was Delicious! The trio of open faced sandwiches was a fun way to try multiple flavors and maybe something new. The omelet was huge and also very delicious. The owners are so welcoming and kind, we will definitely be back and will bring family and friends to experience the Hygge! Don’t miss out!

Owners are very friendly and the food was really good. We had the stjerneskud (image) and the schnitzel with some pretty good Norwegian beer. Definitely added to the list of restaurants to visit again

It’s so rare to find Danish food in SoCal. Well executed and extremely friendly owners. The lamb shank was wonderful. Don’t forget to end with a danish and ice cream. We’ll be back!

Five Stars all the way!!We were there for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. Mona and the staff were very accommodating and food was a delight. We had Pickled Herring and Pork Hock, both of which were delicious and an experience to behold.Although location is not very ideal in that the place itself cant be seen from the street and in a quiet neighborhood, its the only place in Orange County where you can partake in authentic and tasty Scandinavian specialty food. The way they mix the ingredients and present the food is very Danish. Very palatable to the eyes!!Medium sized diner, very ideal for small gatherings and cozy dinners. Very clean and comfortably organized. Will be coming back for more delightful experience, thats for sure.Thank you Mona and family for creating a place to experience Danish delights!

It was our first but not our last time going. The food was excellent and very filling. It was more than the food, though. The experience was very enjoyable. My father speaks a Scandinavian language and so they placed the flag of his language in front of him and treated him and all of us well. We enjoyed appetizers and our main dishes. The owner would come around and check on us to make sure we enjoyed it and if there was anything. We really felt like family while there, not just like diners.

Title: A Danish Culinary Gem!Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)Copenhagen Corner has been a delightful addition to our neighborhood, gracing us with its presence for the past year. As the sole Danish restaurant in all of Southern California, it brings a unique and authentic taste of Denmark to our local dining scene.During my first visit, I had the pleasure of savoring the Stjerneskud, a mixed seafood delight served over sourdough with a medley of veggies—a Danish twist on an open-faced sandwich. Priced at just $20, it was a culinary masterpiece that combined the freshness of seafood with the rich textures and flavors of the accompanying vegetables. My culinary adventure didnt end there; I also indulged in a Danish pastry to-go, priced at a mere $5. Its deliciousness was a testament to the mastery of Danish pastry craftsmanship.Yet, what truly sets Copenhagen Corner apart is the genuine warmth and friendliness of the family who runs it—a team effort by mom, dad, and their daughter, as I believe. Their heartfelt hospitality creates a welcoming neighborhood vibe that makes every diner feel like an honorary member of their extended family. In conclusion, Copenhagen Corner is not just a restaurant; its a cherished community gem. It offers delectable Danish cuisine, unbeatable value, and an inviting atmosphere. Whether youre seeking an authentic Danish culinary experience or a place where the staff treats you like family, this restaurant ticks all the boxes. In my book, its a perfect 5/5 dining destination, and I cant wait to return soon for another delightful visit!

Were so happy to find this gem! Delicious food and great people. I had the daily special, chicken schnitzl. As good as what I ate in Austria! Well be back.

What a great little gem this place is. It is in the plaza above my daughter’s physical therapy / sports training location, so I decided to pop in a few times and try out a few dishes with a glass of wine while I waited for her. OMG - so good - the breads, the bratwurst, sauerkraut, pickled cabbage and other items. Family owned and they are wonderful, engaging and kind. Make you feel like you are eating at their home. A must visit not just for the amazing food but their hospitality. I will be back weekly! Next up - gonna try the herring!
