What a wonderful experience! The environment was so welcoming, the wine was beautifully crafted, and the Copia team truly knows the meaning of hospitality. Our friend, Melanie Greer, recommended the winery and it was the best of the numerous wineries we visited over 4 days. We loved it so much, we joined their Wine Club and so did the couple we were traveling with. A huge thank you to the owners who took the time to visit with us personally! My experience at Copia Vineyards was incredible. My husband and I enjoyed the food and wine pairing experience which is a definite must when tasting at Copia. The wines paired beautifully with each food item. During my visit, I enjoyed everything so much that I had decided to join the Copia Vineyards wine club, which is my first wine club membership in the Paso Robles area!

Lovely setup. We had requested inside and it was very comfortable and well done. They also have a wonderful patio. The pairing with the wine was a great enhancement although the beautiful wines would stand on their own.

We first discovered Copia in 2020 and instantly fell in love with all the wine and everyone that works there! We come back at least once a year and each time theres something new, theyre always growing, and their passion grows with them! The small band of employees remember you and make sure youre having a great time. I love the Source, its my favorite red, and my husband like the White. I would recommend doing their wine food pairing, its like little gourmet plates that bring out the wine so so well! This is our first wine membership, and were so happy with our choice!

We experienced the wine tasting paired with the food...these are small bites that are delicious with wonderful spices. We greatly enjoyed the tasting. Our host did not rush us, allowing for a relaxing and enjoyable pace. We departed with several nice bottles of red wine.

I have been a member of Copia for several years now and this was my first visit to the tasting room at the vineyards. Each visit is exceptional. Victor hosted us throughout our wine and culinary pairing and was genuinely helpful and friendly. He took us on a tour of the garden, which enhanced our experience and helped us appreciate the culinary pairing even more. We went to a larger winery afterwards and did not have a good experience. Nothing tops Copias welcoming atmosphere.

The tasting facility itself for a smaller winery was fantastic. The raised beds of vegetables an herbs along with the putting green were a fun addition. Really enjoyed the wines. The rose, and I am not a big rose drinker, was the best of the 10 higher end vineyards we visited on the trip. All the other wines were really enjoyable and well structured.

It was a real WoW experience. We arrived almost an hour before our reservation and Victor greeted us warmly. He showed us to a table inside, but it was such a nice day we really wanted to sit outside. Without hesitation and a smile on his face, he accommodated our desire. Throughout the tasting he was just fabulous - we connected on our reason for the visit and it made the afternoon so much more special. Honestly, the personal connection was just what the doctor ordered. We also loved the music - as we tasted The Cure, The Cure was playing overhead - a wonderful coincidence.Oh, by the way, the wine was excellent from the first sip to the last. We went to the actual winery...so here’s my reviewWOW!!! I am not sure what to say about this winery....it surpassed all expectations. My fiancé and I decided to visit because he loves wine from the Paso Robles region. I am new to wine, and didn’t have many expectations. Anita is clearly very educated in her craft, and has dedicated a great amount of work and resources into creating this winery. Although Anita is highly educated about wine- she made for the most unpretentious, fun, and educational visit. She put us at ease, and was able to gauge our level of “wine knowledge” and go from there! We went to their home to do our tasting. It was outside on the front lawn where we tasted, and enjoyed a cheese plate while being educated about the vineyard and the wine. It was stunning, peaceful- paradise!! Although newer to the wine scene...I can say with certainty that the wine was delicious. The white, the red, the rose...all incredible! My fiancé who is more educated also really enjoyed everything in the tasting. We walked away with 2 bottles from their great collection. I cannot wait to come back once they establish their onsite tasting room. Cannot recommend this enough. Thank you Anita for your hospitality- you were GREAT!!!! We cannot wait to be back!

Have you ever walked into a winery tasting room and felt like you were VIP? Well, then book an appointment with Copia Vineyard today because that is how they make you feel like a celebrity. First of all, the place is beautiful, and when you walk in, they start treating you like royalty. Then they take you to your table, where they have printed out a welcome card with your name on it and what you are celebrating. While the owners, Anita & Varinder, introduce themselves to you and start explaining the pairing with the wines, you hear your favorite singer playing in the background. The detailing of this place is what puts them on the map. But now the wine WOW just WOW if I could buy all their wines, I would have. I mean, the balance in their wine was on point for my husband and me. They introduced me again to a real Grenache how it should taste than what I have been trying in the larger wineries.Visit them in Downtown Paso Robles; you will not be disappointed!

We stayed at the Copia house over a three day weekend and it was incredible. The house is fully stocked and they’ve thought of everything. The thoughtful supply boxes with snacks, nuts, face masks was adorable and bathroom supplies as well. Our friends were so impressed with the bed being so comfortable. We cooked our meals every day and the kitchen has it all. Highly recommend a stay here and a visit to the tasting room.

If there was a class greater than 1st, Copia would be it! My friend and I visited on 4/13. It was a cold and rainy day but the exceptional wines, food and staff at Copia made all of that disappear! Great new discovery! A small family owned winery that we discovered. Sean is an excellent host, and gave us a number of wines to taste, including multiple vintages of the same wine, which offered us the opportunity to see how the growing seasons differed and how the wines aged. We signed up for their club, and will return soon for another visit. Another perk of club membership at Copia is the passes to live jazz performances at Libretto, a local club.We highly recommend Copia to anyone interested in tasting some top notch Rhone variety wines. Great personalized service and excellent wines.

Club member for several years. My first visit (not counting the pick-up party) to taste at Copias new location. The tasting room and outside patio are very nice and tastefully decorated. We opted for the culinary pairing (while they take walk-ins, space permitting, culinary pairing does require a reservation). Was a good choice as it allowed to see how food enhances and changes the wine experience. Was especially impressed by pairing the white blend with turmeric panna cotta. Wonderful experience, we even had a good chat with the owner. Highly recommended to all wine (and food) lovers. Copias focus is on Rhone varietals, but they also make Cabernet, Chardonnay, and Tempranillo.

I was on a girls’ trip and we went here. The experience couldn’t be worse. The guy who served us just embedded himself into the conversation, and on top of that, when he forced us to tell him what we like to do for fun and he learned that I like to ski, his response is “oh so do you actually go to ski, or you just go to take photos?” I was like “?????” This is the most insulting thing you could say to people who just told you what they enjoy doing. And he works in hospitality, how low your EQ has to be to ask such an insane question??? Also, would you ask this question to a dude???

Great tasting room with great wines! We are local but had family visiting from out of town and were looking for someplace new to try. The tasting room was very comfortable and the tasting was not rushed. You have enough time to really enjoy the wines and form an opinion, they do not rush you. Our host, Victor, was so knowledgeable about the winery and the wines, it was a pleasure to spend time with him. We walked out with a bottle or two of each wine and a wine club membership :) Very happy we went and would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for unique wines and warm hospitality.

The Copia Vineyards tasting room in downtown Paso is a little gem. First off, once we had made an o line reservation, it was the 1st time anyone contacted us directly to find out what kind of wines we prefer, how we heard about them etc. Nice touch! When we arrived, a table was wet up for us with cheese pairings to complement the wine tasting. We were greeted by an enthusiastic young lady named Sarah, who led us through the history of this unique little boutique winery as she presented the different wines. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the products she was offering and had insightful answers to all our questions. We loved each and every one of the wines she poured and became members on the spot. The pope was our favorite, but we also enjoyed the refreshing 2019 rose she offered.It was nice to see Sarah interact with other customers in the same way. When we came home we discovered a little thank you message written on the box... a delightful experience all around.

I had heard nothing but positive things about Copia’s wines. It was for good reason. I was treated like a VIP in their lounge for a private tasting. Unlike many wineries, where the tasting staff is pulled in multiple direction trying to serve a crowd and hopefully fit in some information about the wines, Victor was with me for the duration, but without being obtrusive. The cheese pairings were very well thought out. The wines were extremely well balanced—hard to imagine how they could get much better with more years of aging, they seemingly have no vices. I have been to around 35 Paso area wineries, belong to around 10 wine clubs, Copia is on the upper end of my top five and, of course, had to join their club!

I just visited 13 tasting rooms in Paso with an eclectic group of 5 women. Copia was our unanimous favorite. Highly recommended! We were roaming around, checking out Paso Robles without any plan whatsoever when we passed by Copia, and it seemed like a most comfortable & welcoming place. And it truly was. We had no appointment, but that was no problem. We were seated immediately & had the tasting flight, 5 wines in all. Each one tasted better than the last. It ended with “The Source” (2019), which was extraordinary to this Syrah lover. Victor was super friendly and informative, about the wine as well as the area. He gave us maps with other places circled that he recommended, which set us off onto a wonderful weekend. The setting is modern and elegant, but not pretentious. The story behind the start of this winery is such a great one, and its obvious the owners and winemaker are truly passionate about the craft. We fell so in love with the wine, we joined the club. We are picky about wine - I guess we are wine snobs - and these wines dont disappoint. We just got into town and wanted a special quiet tasting experience and picked Copia based on their rating and reviews. It was a Monday afternoon around 3pm and we were the only guests at the time. Rob had prepared a beautiful table for us with cheese pairings for the wines we would be tasting. A friend and I made a quick trip to Paso from SoCal to see the Bruce Munro Sensorio Light Display. A local winery that was recommended to us closed at 4:00pm and we were not ready to taste that early, so that winery recommended Copia to us, and I am damn glad they did. Victor was a delightful Sommelier and we even got to meet the owners as we closed out, and they were just as charming. I cannot recommend Copia highly enough for your next visit to Paso. The bottles I brought home were meant to be gifts but its looking like they wont last that long.

I cannot say enough about the tasting room at Copia Vineyards. My wife and I went for the first time earlier this month (December). We were simply blown away! The reservation was easy to make for the tasting. When we arrived, Victor greeted us pleasantly. As I looked around I was very impressed with the vibe and decor of the room. We were ready to pull up a stool right there at the wine bar, only to have Victor direct us to a back room that was set up privately just for the two of us. What a spread! Wines, cheeses, waters, other small bites. Our names were printed on colorful paper and hung at our tasting table. We sat on a very comfy couch and just had the best time. We really got to know Victor. He made us feel like the only people that mattered. He was a great and knowledgeable wine guide. We all shared personal stories as well, particularly of how he came to be in Paso and at Copia. We really bonded with him and we joined the wine club at the end of our tasting. Were already going back to Paso again soon (end of January...so about 7 weeks later; all the way from Ohio), and we cant wait to visit Copia again. We are bringing some family with us this time.We really cant say enough. This place instantly rose to the top of our favorites list. When in Paso, GO TO COPIA!

I really did not want to review COPIA Vineyards because I would like to see it stay small. BUT Varinder Sahi the winemaker/owner is doing fantastic things with his wine. Sarah the Wine Club/Tasting Room manager is great also. I emailed her kind of late for a reservation and she was able to accommodate myself and all of my visiting friends. Beautiful new downtown tasting room! After first learning about Copia at their Paso Underground location, Im so excited to see them have their own space downtown. They have a great selection of Rhone inspired wines (The Pope - 100% Grenache is my favorite!) to be enjoyed in their modern, but cozy and inviting, tasting room. This weekend we visited Paso Robles, our third trip this year. We visited a total of 5 wineries, 4 of which we are members. The wineries were - Daou, Tablas Creek, Copia, Torrin, and Denner. Copia winery was new on our list.This trip was special to us for 2 reasons.1) We took our friends with us. It was their first Paso trip. They have been enjoying a lot of the Paso wines with us over last 2 years and I was really excited to have them experience some of the amazing wines at the source.2) The second reason was us trying Copia winery for the first time. The owner and winemaker Virendar had reached out to me via this Paso group extending an invitation to come visit. I love trying new wines and especially small boutique establishments. Also, I was particularly excited for meeting a fellow Indian who shares a common interest - drinking wine. Virendar and his wife Anita hosted us at their vineyard. When we got to their vineyard, we realized that they were hosting us at their home. Our group was so humbled and impressed with their gracious welcome, we felt that we were home having a conversation with friends. Anita had laid out a great cheese spread that paired perfectly with their wines. Their wines, oh my! Absolutely phenomenal!! All 5 of them. Rose, White, and 3 Reds. I was hoping for 2 things to happen at Copia winery. Become a member and make new friends. After spending a little over 3 hours with Virendar and Anita, we achieved both! We all felt an instant connection with both.If any of you visit Paso, be sure to visit Virendar and Anita at Copia winery. They also have a tasting room at Paso downtown. I highly recommend them.
