Great sushi, sashimi and appetizers. They were gracious enough to attempt a new (and hard) nigiri called snake eyes that is my favorite (see pics below - ikura, quail egg, avacado)). I’ve had this request turned down in very fine sushi places because balancing the avacado is tricky. But they nailed it. Also, the warm sushi rice means they are using the freshest rice, and all of the fish had great taste and color. Just moved here and will be back often.

Cristi our server was amazing. Everything was fresh and a cozy environment. Some great booths at the back of the restaurant, We sat at Sushi Bar and our server was over the top. Someone was constantly checking on us. We will be back!

I would like to share my experience at the newly opened Coral Sushi, a highly anticipated addition to the dining scene in La Quinta/INDIO. Located on 50th and Jefferson, right next to the Ralphs store, this restaurant captivated us from the moment we stepped inside.Coral Sushi boasts an exquisite and fresh ambiance, both inside and out. The interior design is stunning, offering a variety of seating options, including a welcoming sushi bar, cozy booths, and spacious tables. While we didnt get to enjoy it during our visit, they also have an inviting outdoor dining area.From the instant we entered, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality, making us feel right at home. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and providing impeccable service throughout our meal.The menu at Coral Sushi is truly impressive, featuring a delightful array of options. From traditional hibachi and sashimi to homemade noodles and an extensive selection of rolls, theres something for everyone to enjoy. The best part? The prices are remarkably affordable…Even for those in our party who werent sushi enthusiasts, they had enticing beef and chicken dishes available. The beverage menu was equally impressive, offering reasonably priced single glasses of wine and beer, as well as excellent bottle options. Their wine pours were also quite generous, which was a pleasant surprise.As we kicked off our dining experience, we decided to start with the calamari as an appetizer. To say it was the best weve ever had in the entire desert would be an understatement. The flavor and quality exceeded all expectations, leaving us thoroughly impressed.Its evident that the ownership of Coral Sushi truly values the satisfaction of their patrons. The exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and reasonable prices all contribute to a memorable dining experience. Without a doubt, we will be returning to Coral Sushi in the near future.

This new sushi restaurant was hands down the best in the valley. The rolls were big, and the quality was on point. Based on the fish, I can tell that they use high-grade seafood. When I asked the server, they indeed use the highest-graded fish. If you do not like raw seafood, their calamari, teriyaki chicken, and beef skewer were very good. I highly recommend this place if you want a high-quality Japanese sushi restaurant.

Checked out this new sushi restaurant tonight and it was excellent. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was beautiful and great outdoor seating. Hurry and check out this place.

Just had a fabulous meal at Coral Sushi. We had the rainbow, California, and Vegetable rolls with edamame and each one was great. The service was professional and Skippy, the manager, made sure our dining experience was perfect. We will definitely become regulars.

Wow! Coral sushi has some distinct rolls that are prepared very elegantly. Everything tasted so fresh and they were quick too. My new place for sure.

This is my second go-to option in the valley after Nobu. The quality is good, but the price of the roles is high, very high, which makes Nobu cheaper if you compare the size of the roles.The rolls at Nobu any Nobu are very small by nature. The ones at Coral are bigger but command a much higher price, not justified comparing apples to apples.The other issue I had was that the service was not on pare it took too long to get our order with the restaurant 65% full and this is while sitting at the sushi bar.I will come back as they are only two options in the valley for sushi real sushi Coral and Nobu.

Its the real deal. Very experienced Sushi chefs, friendly attentive staff, gorgeous new building. Were definitely going to become regulars.

I agree that the hospitality and service were excellent. We sampled several of the sushi options as well as the green tea ice cream dessert. All of it was outstanding. Its a real treat to have such a gem in south Indio.
