Ambiance: The inside isnt dynamic, but its cozy, straight to the point, decent amount of seating, and you can see straight into the kitchen. I opted to sit outside, which was nicely shaded on a fairly quiet street right across the street from a park.Service: They were so nice! They were a bit busy but continued to acknowledge me and brought my food outside when it was ready. Checking out was a breeze, and they even checked on me once I got my meal.Food: Solid burger, huge onion rings, and yummy fries, I love sauces, so I tried a few, all of which were delicious. I have no complaints and will definitely be back to try other things! For a small place, they did an amazing job with everything

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Corner Burger for the first time, and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations! Located in the heart of Lawndale, this gem of a burger joint truly stands out. My friend and I opted for the #3 cheese burger with crispy bacon, fully loaded with all the fixings. From the very first bite, it was clear that these burgers were cooked to perfection, and they were served on a delightfully toasted bun that added an extra touch of deliciousness. I cant forget to mention the fries—they were simply outstanding! Just take a look at this picture; it captures the essence of a classic 50s diner experience!We arrived early on a Saturday morning, around 11 am, and although parking can be a bit challenging, luck was on our side, as we found a spot just around the corner. Keep in mind that on weekdays, you might need to walk a few blocks to find parking.After this fantastic experience, I am already planning to bring more friends along to enjoy these incredible burgers. Found this gem via a food blogger recommendation during COVID in 2020! We live in Orange County but stop by every time we are in the area! Delicious food and friendly staff that treats you like family! The High School Burrito (their version of the California Burrito) with chicken tenders, cheese and fries inside the tortilla is incredible (also comes with ranch and salsa if you want that included)! Their shakes are really good too! Must visit if you’re in the area!

My go to for burgers and chili cheese fries. Southwest burger probably the best if you like a burgers with peppers. Everything i have ordered here so far has not disappointed. Although the chili burger is good, i avoid it now because its just too messy.

BOMB burgers! Wanted a quick bite before heading to the airport. Saw that this place had 4.6 ratings so of course I had to stop by! 4.6 rating well deserved. I had a #2 classic w/ cheese cooked medium. The burger was savory! But y’all those sweet potato fries! They season it with either brown sugar or just sugar and man & that’s what made it the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. (I need that recipe y’all lol)

This place was sooo bomb!!!!! The staff was super nice. I got the breakfast burrito and BOY OH Boy it was huge! It was on a thin tortilla which I loved because they packed it with egg, avocado, meat and potatoes! Sooooo amazing.... And it was super flavorful! Then we got all of the special sauces and we were glad we did! We especially loved the jalapeño ranch and the Sriracha sauce..... 🤤🤤. My boyfriend got the Bleu boy burger with onion rings on the side. The burger was crazy juicy and cooked perfectly medium well! You would never think that this place was cranking out bomb food.... But they definitely are! We will definitely be back to try the shakes ‼️

Everything is always so delicious. Except this time i didn’t taste my drink before I left. And it was horrible it was out of Co2 and it was so bad. I should have called and told them so the next customer didn’t have to have that terrible taste in their mouth. I don’t blame them because you don’t know it’s out unless you drink it. Or a customer.

First of all, its located at a hole in the wall spot across from the Lawndale center. I almost passed it Im glad I didnt. Walking in I was greeted by such a wonderful personality and happy employee. She asked if wed dined there before and gave suggested her ultimé favorite, she stated all the burgers have the best ingredients and has difficultly herself choosing one on a daily basis.I ended up with the breakfast burger, 2 eggs, bacon and a side of onion rings.My friends ordered the #3, cheeseburger with fries. The burgers are delicious and perfect sized. They offer 6 different condiments you can pick from and I choose chipotle mayo in my burger and a jalapeño ranch for my rings. My friend ordered garlic mayo. BOMB!!!Now looking back I wish I would have taken a pic but the food was amazing I totally forgot. We drove all the way from OC, 1 hr drive and definitely will be returning.

Weve been meaning to try here since its so close to home. My family had breakfast, I had lunch. It was decent. They asked how I wanted my burger which I loved. I asked for MW, it ended up being MR. I didnt mind too much but it definitely changed the taste I was anticipating. My fries were a mixed of fresh and re fried French fries which was disappointing. The service was exceptional though and Im definitely going to try again. The potential is definitely there.

The staff are friendly and location is super clean! I order a cheese burger and unfortunately the taste to the burger was nowhere to be found. The meat patty to the burger is super thick. They need to add seasoning to the meet and and dressing. Will definitely go back to try their breakfast. Unfortunately I will return but not for a burger.

Waiting for a pickup order is like being inside a furnace in the summer time. Brutal. Was asked what cook temperature I wanted on my burger and I replied medium rare. Might as well said well done. Once we unwrapped our burgers at home that’s what we found. The only saving grace was the onion rings. Total for two burgers, a small shake and chili cheese fries thirty dollars.

Easily the best burger Ive ever had. It was our last meal in town before heading back to NC. We started the week in San Francisco and worked out way down to LA and this was by far the tastiest meal of the trip. My only complaint is that I cant have more of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I have been here twice once for breakfast and once for lunch. It is located right next to Ann’s beauty salon and across from the library. When I went for breakfast I think I tried the breakfast burrito and the French toast… which was good but I think they’re burgers are what they are known for hence the name corner burger. I got the corner burger, with a drink and chili cheese fries… it was bomb! The burger was juicy and flavorful and the chili cheese fries were delicious as well. Definitely will be back again!

Very nice place. Clean area and the milkshakes are Very good. You can tell by the color how authentic they are. Yum! I also ordered the steak(medium) and eggs (over-medium). It didnt look like much when i received it.. but the flavor.. WOW! Sooo yummy. I only wanted to taste it at first.. since i already had light breakfast prior to going there for my daughters milkshake.. however... I couldnt stop eating it. I ended up eating the entire plate! For the price, not worth it. Burger is missing flavor. Ordered the southwest and it was soggy under seasoned. Not sure it had cheese. Fries were basic. Good crispy but not even seasoned. Really wanted to like it. But $14 for what I got was not worth it.Edit: a year later. Tried sausage breakfast burrito. Not much flavor. Needs the salsa. I got about 4-5 tiny pieces of sausage in this. I thought I’d give it a second chance but didn’t feel like it was worth my money.

They make a dang fine hamburger combo. Its one of the better hamburgers in the area.Its just so uncomfortable there. It was a hot day. If it was a cold day, Im sure I would have given them another star. But it wasnt. It was a hot day and I wanted to chill in a place while eating a fat yummy cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Corner burger delivered on the food but it was hard to enjoy when it was actually hotter inside than it was outside. They do have seating outside but during this time there was no shade... Very good food, but very uncomfortable seating on a hot day.

I discovered this spot about a year ago when I started going to the Lawndale Library across the street. I fell in love from my first order. I usually order the Southwest Burger. Their veggie patty is delicious, whatever they make it with is much better than the mainstream substitutes out there. The house made dipping sauces are also incredible (garlic aoli and creamy jalapeño). The menu has the perfect balance of Mexican, breakfast and beverages that only the best burger joints can accomplish. The service and atmosphere at Corner Burger is great as well. I wish I had some photos but I always eat my food too fast!

The Acai Bowls are the best! You can ask for add-ins like Spinach, Peanut butter, Honey, Granola, and much more. The menu is not stiff at all!!Id suggest ordering a Chipotle/ Sriracha Mix Chicken wrap with Spinach and all the greens... its spicy but very very tasty!! In the past 6 months, Ive submitted two applications of employment here and not one phone call has been made. I would dare even say, I was the first to submit an application as I frequent the area often. I am insinuating that the employer here is biased in her (Monica) hiring process. The staff are all hispanic. And when I approached her with a smile and open body language on the first time I submitted my application, she seemed apprehensive upon my consideration. But how does one prove employment discrimination? The employer can easily pick out something from my resume that was also submitted twice and use that as a ploy to not hire me. But Im irked that never so much as received a phone call for the oppurtunity of an interview. I wont do business where Im not hired. Their food is delicious though :)
