I love this place for its cheap vegan food. They have a ton of options that are so well priced. I had a burger and fries and both were great portions and delicious. It sucks there is no inside seating. When I was here it was very hot and no shade. Had to eat outside since I walked there. Service was a little slow but it was busy. Overall good food but I dont know if Id get back.

I had been coming here since the 1970s. I love the soft serve ice cream. I also ordered zucchini which was delicious, and they had a vegan ranch that was shockingly fantastic! I want to go back there and just buy the dressing.

We come here for the chocolate dipped soft serve, which has a very nice taste. Service is quick and friendly. The surroundings and the location is not nice and should be made nice so people can enjoy their ice cream.

I know it says vegetarian but everything is processed. Soy filler. I like eating my vegetables and I am a meat eater but if youre going to give me a vegetarian or vegan meal. Make it natural and healthy I dont want frozen soy patties. Especially since you guys are charging a good amount. Also the ice cream isnt that good here also at taste kind of cheap

My brother found this place years ago and has been coming here ever since. Hes treated me here whenever Id spend the night or babysit. It has vegan soft serve ice cream and its absolute delicious. They have plenty of options from sundaes, to cones, and shakes. They even have Boba and some food to eat. The employees are always friendly as well!

We found this place by chance. So we ordered a banana 🍌 milkshake. I must say it was good compared to other places that offer similar milkshakes. If we are in Covina again we will it definitely stop and try a different flavor.

Decided to try this place because I was in the area. Cute place, nice staff and yummy food. Got the double cheeseburger with fries and a Coke. Got exactly what I was looking for and the Patty had a great texture and savory flavor. A+++

The description was a little deceiving, old school walk up joint serving vegetarian versions of fast food Staples and vegan ice cream to me that ment that all the ice cream was vegan not just a few. I drove all the way from Riverside just to be disappointed that it was a few options and only the scoop kind in a cup. On top of that I ordered the vegan chili fries, well first there was no option for shredded cheese like in some of the pictures I saw people posted he had to cut up a slice and charged me an extra dollar Im used to paying extra but a dollar? And as for the chili Umm well it was just a bunch of chopped up veggies sauteed on top nothing again that resembled past photos. I also ordered the nuggets and almost $5 for 6 mini pieces thats crazy. I asked if they had a dipping sauce and he handed me a packet of BBQ I said do you have anything else and he brought me a tiny cup of what I think was sweet and sour sauce. Will not be coming back, I should of done better research.

Right down the street will adjust rating as i continue frequenting the location. pricing is reasonable but i ate the last piece of my daughter’s hot dog and it was not very tasty. made me queasy but daughter did not complain. the double vegan cheeseburger was definitely edible. to be fair their main sign and forte appears to be frozen ice cream and other tasty treats which i did not try. ill definitely be back and check out the other treats so nice to see this local place servín up the veeg foods!

The Woman who took my order today was coarse and racist. She had poor energy when taking my order. She was very passive-aggressive, but when taking a homeless couples order, she was very energetic and pleased to assist. There was a bit of a language barrier, so I asked for her answer once more to confirm that we were on the same page with adding vegan cheese to my vegan burger. She went and reported to the Cook; however, I was very uneasy about eating the burger just because I didn’t trust her after the transaction. I didn’t ask for a refund because I didn’t want the hassle of giving her my card again. The behavior displayed today is not acceptable. There should consequence for people like the young girl who makes minorities feel uncomfortable when purchasing from the establishment. I had eaten before and even brought my family from Sherman oaks to taste the fast food here. They were pleased, but we will never visit again due to this recent event. You all should do better. Next, we are spending the same money Like everyone else, theres no reason for the unprofessional behavior.

Its one of the few things that has not changed over the years. They have added to the menu, but the old favorites are still exactly the same. Its a great place to stop for a reasonably priced ice cream treat. Theyve got every type of sundae topping you can think of and they have a vegetarian menu as well.

The service was slower than we expected, especially considering there werent many other customers. Cleanliness left a little to be desired. My husbands chicken sandwich was good. I didnt love my veggie burger. All the toppings were good and fresh but the burger itself was not my favorite. Fries were quite good.

Decent food. Could be better. New owners. Good time for a cosmetic upgrade to this cool, old building. Seems they are still using the ancient menu board from old owner as you can still see the old (cheaper) prices. I want them to succeed, however, I’m concerned that the dilapidated state of the place will turn off customers. It’s obvious that plant-based food is hot at the moment and that a mainstream market exist so why not spend some money and do a decent cosmetic and menu upgrade? I know when you start a new business funds are tight, however, the alternative (closing down) has got to be worse. Judging from the lack of patrons I’m afraid that this place that’s been around since the 60’s could close down sooner rather than later. That would be a shame.

Im so glad this place is still here. I used to get my vegan ice cream and vegan hot dogs here years ago when I lived in Covina. I moved 7 yrs ago and have been eating meat and dairy and being in my 50s. Ive been having serious issues with mucus and inflammation stiffness etc. I have since went back to vegan or pescatarian and organic actually so hopefully Ill be able to visit this place next time Im near. VERY Delicious food. 👍

It’s such awesome spot. The parking is difficult because the parking lot is shared with a recycling center but it’s do-able. The area is a little ghetto but I highly recommend stopping by. I will be very honest and admit the chili fries and the chili dog were not very good. The chili is very bland but salt and ketchup help add more flavor. However the burgers are very tasty!! I reccomend getting a burger :) Cute little place. They do have a small seating area inside as well. For two people it runs around $20 depending on what you get.

All the food is good and much tastes better than the real meat items they replaced back in the 1960s. The owner is a nice guy who knows the history of the area and is also a talented painter with paintings on his walls. He even drives a 60s bug. Great hangout for veggies and non-veggies alike.

They only had 2 flavors of scooped vegan ice cream. The soft serve is regular dairy. Most of the food is vegetarian, and just frozen junk food at that. They also had a menu of Chinese food with real meat in it. So while they have some options if youre into eating vegetarian junk food, theyre not an entirely vegetarian place to get food, and the surroundings and setting are very dumpy.

Does anyone realize that they have a recycling center that naturally attracts rats and roaches only feet away? Thanks but no thanks. Also, the place is run down, and usually a homeless crowd hangs out in the area. I would recommend to keep an eye on your car and make sure it was locked.
