Was my first time here and I loved it, didnt know what to choose from, they have so many options. So I decided the waffle combo, I must say there servings are very hearty. Amazing! Havent been here in years and boy Im glad theyre still around. Went with the wife n kids and we waited very little (20mins), was met with excellent service, food was out quickly after ordering and all of us were satisfied and full after eating. Definitely would recommend to everyone!!

I am not a local guide.I am not paid, sponsor, or endorse. My opinions my own and its legit. Cowgirl Cafe has excellent food. I prefer eating at Cowgirl Cafe over Flos Cafe. At Cowgirl Cafe you can expect good customer service. Restrooms are always clean. Pro tip arrive early because the restaurant does get crowded. The only gripe I have is the restaurant is called Cowgirl Cafe, but yet I do not see any cowgirl decor. There you have it folks you can make your own decision whether to eat at Cowgirl Cafe.

Im leaving a five-star review because the service is always excellent, but the steak was less than.Steak appeared to be cooked perfectly, between rare and medium rare, it just wasnt chewable throughout.I love this place because it has the absolute best chicken fried steak, possibly Ive ever had. So Ill definitely be back for more of that I also love the portions, definitely made for hungry diners.The chicken fried steak combined with the awesome gravy will leave you wanting more, biscuits are perfect and the gravy absolutely amazing, the flavor is unmatched, and its thick enough to stand a spoon up in.The sweet potato fries as my potato substitute, were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.This is one of my absolute favorite places of all time for breakfast and lunch, because of the excellent service and always excellent food...Its just not a steak place for me, keep in mind I was raised vegetarian so Ive always had a love-hate relationship with steak, because I didnt grow up chewing on it.

A fantastic breakfast! We have been on a big road trip from Oregon to Arizona to Los Angeles and last stop Norco. The best breakfast we have had our whole trip! Im a big iced tea drinker and it was so good and loved the fact it was served in a Mason jar!!!

Theyre closed on Tuesdays and opened regular hours the rest of the week. Their food is flavorful and delicious; the place is small and when I went; it got full right away. The people where nice service was a little slow but there was only one server . Food was really not good had pork chops and eggs and biscuits and gravy. Pork chops had no seasoning a little over cooked and tough eggs were ok cooked as ask but came to the table with broken yolks, but the gravy was terrible it was full of lumps of flour from split pea size to garbanzo bean or larger. Coffee was good.

The food was full flavored and hot when it arrived.They did have a sign out when i visited that said they were short on kitchen staff so there could be a wait.My order arrived within a reasonable amount of time, i have no complaints about the time. One of the best omelettes I’ve had. Swiss mushroom and I added avocado that was gorgeous. My rye toast was delicious. Everyone’s meal was good, from the Eggs Benedict to the Denver omelette. The chicken with the chicken and waffles was a little dry but flavorful and the chocolate milk my son ordered was spruced up with whipped cream. Nice touch. They are short staffed but the staff they have are pure gold. Don’t be in a rush when you go. Take a deep breath and be a humble human and enjoy this neighborhood gem.

Over rated, mediocre flavor, pancakes were dry, eggs over cooked, bacon looked like it was made yesterday, had to ask for my biscuits and gravy which came out cold also lacking of flavor, asked for salsa which came after we were finished with our meal. You guys need to do better, wouldnt recommend unless improvements are made.Being under staffed is no excuse for poor quality, if it takes a little longer to get good food, I have no problem with that.

We never walk through the doors with less than a table of 7, and we all get a variety of foods and never leave hungry, thats for sure. Their machaca is good, pancakes are amazing, ranch dressing is bomb, just everything. The service is wonderful, too. Everyone is very friendly.

This is the first time in coming here for breakfast. It was recommended by a local and as I understand it has recently undergone a management change. There is a great variety in the menu and a general statement stating that if you do not see what you like just ask for it. We were seated promptly even though only part of our party had not arrived yet. It took some time for them to come and we were served coffee right away. When they did arrive and we all ordered we did not feel rushed and were able to talk and spend the time that we needed to enjoy each others company. It was my Stepdaughters Birthday and this was communicated to our waitress. The food was good and served in the down home country style that we love. At the end of our meal our waitress brought us strawberry shortcake A la mode with spoons for sharing. It was a very nice touch to a perfect breakfast. We will definately be going back. Kinda bummed because the reviews were good and the experience fell short. We Waited 50 minutes for our food which was just one order of the french plate combo and a side of peaches. Once the food came, it was the saddest little plate of over cooked eggs, with tough bacon and sausage. The preserves on the french toast had a gritty taste and weren’t the best tasting. If I could give them no stars I would but the one star works because the sausage was really good (like really good, and the only good part of the whole thing). Our total was almost 25 for one plate. (I shared with my husband and they charged an extra dollar because we did that)? never encountered that before but anyway I wouldn’t recommend the place based solely on my experience.

Cowboy stuff as decoration, food is pretty good i did get a wayy over peppered biscuits and gravy that i just couldnt eat. Not sure if thats how they usually come but that was inedible aside from that eggs were good, hashbrowns were good. Bacon is always good. I had a salad and its one of the best ranch and croutons salad Ive ever had.

A local favourite, I have been coming to Cowgirl since I was a kid! Definitely worth the drive up from San Diego. Portions are great, the staff is heartwarming and polite, and they even do holiday specials (pumpkin spice pancakes)!I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy, they are the best in the west.

Cowgirl Cafe is our favorite lunch spot. Were definitely regulars. The menu is so varied that no matter what youre in the mood for, theyve got it; however the salads are our favorites; unless you count the Tuesday special-Monte Cristo. Food was worth the 15 minute wait in the morning. My omelets veggies were undercooked but, the sausage I had on the side was perfect. Biscuits and gravy were excellent and so was the customer service. The sweet younger girls go around cleaning off your tables and filling your water. Finally found a new favorite.Only downside was no place to change a baby. They did have a table size infant carseat sling holder which was very useful.

Theres a bunch of horses in there though.. horse café seems a better name but then it would appear they serve horses.

I didnt mind the wait prior to being seated. Based on the reviews I already knew I would have to deal with the 30 -40 min. However, not one of the reviews indicated that once you are seated you have to wait an additional 50 minutes or so to get your food. Amy, the waitress, comes in ZERO times during that long wait. Not even to give us ANY excuse. It would have been nice to she her look onto your face and say something for the long wait. The other helpers kept filling our coffee, juice or water and I think it was to keep us from going out the door from hunger. Then once it does arrive she doesnt look at you not even to give you the check. The food was not as fantastic as proclaimed. Toast was burnt and eggs were dry and over cooked for an omelette. Disappointed at best.

I remember traveling cross country with my family as a child and having breakfast at roadside diners. Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy. Its all here at the Cowgirl Cafe and more! The waitresses are personable and dont seem rushed yet, theyre very efficient. Give it a try early mornings (6AM) on the weekdays if you dont mind sitting down and eating right away. However if you like to wait to be seated and be around lots of people then go on a Saturday or Sunday morning.

If you are from out-of-town and are looking for something other than traditional fast-food, Cowgirl wont disappoint. Extra friendly service and food the way you would prepare it if you had the time. A little far from where I live, but since we were in the area for work related stuff we hopped onto Yelp and found this gem of a place.The place was poppin when we arrived for brunch, but we opted for the bar that was empty and free so no wait. The restaurant has a VERY homey vibe. The kind of feeling you get from a small town where everyone knows everyone and everyone is family. Thats the feeling I got when I was watching the patrons and staff interact.Ordered their veggie omelette and when it came out I was impressed with the vegetable that they used. Ive NEVER had a vegetarian omelette be cooked with zucchinis (a very different ingredient compared to the usual onions, tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms). I very much liked it, I LOVE zucchinis. Although the eggs were a little overcooked for my preference, I usually like my eggs a little on the goopier cooked raw side.The extra star is for the staff, theyre so nice and friendly here. I forgot my Takeya water bottle and one of the waitresses came out to find me in a mass of cars in the parking lot to return it to me. So sweet of her. :)

The first date I had with my then boyfriend was at the cowgirls on Etawnada in 2003. Then in 2010 after our nuptials we decided to have the reception here . Its been a once a year trip to Cowgirls ever since. We leave quite a distance away. So, the trip is something we plan and once here reminisce on days pass.
