Fantastic. We brought in Chef Nichols for a company holiday party. He was well prepared, didn’t need any help, was a work horse, provided a high-quality experience, the food was amazing, his presentation was amazing, he was so kind and friendly, and he cleaned up after himself. Our dining experience with Jonathan was amazing! His calm, yet enthusiastic, energy is contagious. We learned so much about fresh herbs (picked from his garden), nutrient rich foods, seasonal fruits and vegetables and flavor profiles. Time with Jonathan and his wife was a blessing and a beautiful birthday celebration. We look forward to cooking together again soon!

Chef Krong’s class was very educational and fun! We learned not only how to cook very flavorful Thai dishes, but also how to optimize processes within the constraints of our current kitchen and tools. Her dishes are also reproducible, scalable, and suited for meal prepping.Chef Krong is also very kind and flexible. We highly recommend her class.

Absolute 5 star experience. Was looking for a fun activity to share with my daughter. We enjoy cooking together so this seemed like a good fit. Chef Nicholas was fantastic. We enjoyed his professionalism and found his tips really useful. To top it off the Mediterranean menu was great and the food was delicious. Chef Nicholas took his time to teach us proper set up “mise en place”, efficient ways to cut and cooking techniques. Chef Nicholas did the clean up so we could enjoy the wonderful meal. He joined us for dessert and we shared several laughs. Would definitely book again!

We did the Thai Cooking Class with Chef Krong at my home for 6 people. Chef Krong communicated well with me before the class to finalize the menu, was perfectly on time, and led a great class. We learned how to cook 3 Thai dishes and her preferred brands (very important) as well as her time worn secrets to make the dish better. We all had fun and would definitely remake the dishes. I highly recommend for a fun and adventurous evening.

This was our first experience with Cozymeal or any similar service. We had 4 people in celebration of Mothers Day and it was amazing. Loved our time with Chef Nick. There wasn’t authentic Argentinian flavors in this cooking class. All cooking tips were for catering and keeping the kitchen clean. It seemed like the chef’s main purpose was to have a clean kitchen by the time we left. The name of the class should have been “tips for catering and keeping a clean kitchen.” Chef Laura was nice but overall lack of flavor and a rushed experience. The big group I brought to the class was disappointed as well.

What an enjoyable evening! Pat and I arrived early and were warmly greeted by Chef and Barbara at their cozy hideaway home in Imperial Beach. They immediately took us on a tour of their home and offered us Champagne and Hors DEuvres (Shrimp to die for). The cooking class was well organized and lots of fun with plenty of banter and flexibility with the menu. Chef was pleased that we knew our way around a knife and rolling pin so things went really smoothly.We had lots in common with Chef and talked around a fire til late.Been to a number of cooking classes and this was the most convivial, informative, and fun.

I enjoyed the class. I found the recipes easy to follow. Chef Stacy offered many tips that were general and for specific substitutions. It was fast paced but I was okay with being slightly behind as Id made a few substitutions to save time and didnt make the pina colada.

Received a generous gift certificate to have a meal cooked by a private chef in our home. The first chef we attempted to book said travel would be an extra $100 even after the details said travel to our area was included. The second chef we booked 1.5 months in advance for a special birthday dinner, and then the chef contacts us saying she might go out of town and wants to reschedule. Based on the reviews, all chefs certainly don’t behave this way, but we are very disappointed. When we called Cozy Chef to ask about our options, they were not helpful or empathetic in the slightest.

Chef Stacy was awesome! Our first ever online cooking class we decided to try a sushi theme night. It was so much fun! Not only did I learn a lot of good kitchen tricks of the trade, but we both learned a new skill in how to make sushi as well as a mixed drink. The Mexican brunch was a great meal! It was very tasty and pretty easy to prep for and execute. Chef Stacy seemed to be a bit distracted and didnt know the meal very well. She forgot some of the ingredients that we had been asked to purchase, and I also felt a little rushed at the end. Our tortilla didnt get crispy, but I felt like we needed to take it off to keep up with her. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She also was very welcoming, and I liked how she had everyone introduce themselves. I just feel she was slightly underprepared for this particular class. I do feel like the class was still worth the money and would do another Cozy Meal in the future!

I took a cooking class online with my grand daughter and chef David in Tivoli, Italy. We were in San Diego. This was rather exceptional! Everything about the class was enjoyable because we were given all pertinent information to get ready for the class in good time and Chef David was also very organized, clear in his directions and professional. He was also very personable and entertaining. We had a wonderful time cooking with him and the food turned out to be absolutely delicious. My grand daughter (11 years-old) loved the whole experience including the tasty food. I highly recommend Chef David and I also recommend reading the directions carefully and making sure you have everything ready before class.

Our Thai meal with Chef Stacy D. was great! She was very helpful and it was a fun group of people on the line. We had purchased the wrong ingredient (rice paper instead of won ton wrappers), and she knew what to do-- we had to soak the rice paper to make it work. She also suggested just frying the bananas which was also good (we also tried rolling them in tapioca starch first which was also good). We were glad to learn some more plant-based options!

Chef Sha was absolutely amazing! I booked her for my one year anniversary, and tailored the menu to what I thought my boyfriend would enjoy. CHef Sha worked graciously with me to plan the perfect meal. She had prepared the most delicious Sicilian red sauce with sausage and beef braciole prior to coming to my apartment to make the rest of the meal. Once she arrived, we made caprese salad, lemon panna cotta, and the best part was the homemade fettucine!! She gave me and my boyfriend so many helpful tips in preparing food as well as presentation. I learned so much without feeling instructed. My boyfriend told me it was the best anniversary gift he has ever been given! Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!!

My girlfriend surprised me with Chef Jordan to come cook for my family for my 30th birthday! He was so friendly and communicative. We had an airbnb and even though he noted it was the worst oven hes ever worked with he still managed to give my family one of the best meals of our liiiives!!! He was very open to talk with us about my life, his life, and his job. It was such a great experience. My parents are usually impossible to please, but even they said it was one of the best spring rolls theyve had in awhile (and theyre from Vietnam). The best part is he left us with enough leftovers it fed us through the whole weekend. I recently participated in a Introductory Knife Class through CozyMeal, and it was great. The class was with Chef Kristin at Orange Kitchen in Vista, CA.Chef Kristin put on a great class for us! I took my fiance to the introductory knife class, and it was so much fun. Because of this class we both feel more comfortable in the kitchen.Overall, we would definitely sign up for another class with Chef Kristin. The setting was very formal and inviting. I gave my daughter the gluten free brunch cooking class from Chef Kristen for her birthday. I had some issues with the website(booking), but Chef Marty made sure I got all of the information I needed- she was very good at following up with me. Introduction of fresh local produce to cook the meals was very refreshing. Food tastes absolutely incredible and the flavors all blended together and well balanced. We booked a Bottomless Brunch with Sarah for my friends birthday and we had such a phenomenal time! My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Jordan at his hilltop home and kitchen overlooking the hills and valleys of Jamul. We participated in the Basics of Indian Cooking class, and I must say that in so many ways it was an eye-opening, enjoyable, and instructive afternoon. First, Chef Jordan is a knowledgeable and passionate professional who obviously enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience in many areas from pots, pans, and knives to the array of wonderful spices used in Indian Cuisine. Second, he demonstrated and had us participate in preparing several dishes from beginning to delicious end. The dishes were well thought out, all ingredients were ready and fresh, the kitchen was immaculate. The meal itself was absolutely delicious. Chef Jordan is engaging and personable, and we will certainly return for other classes.

My husband and I had a wonderful evening at the home of Chef Francesca. The food was delicious, and he shared so many helpful hints on cooking healthy plant based meals. We discussed using agar agar instead of gelatin, parsley in a stir fry, the schedule of local farmers markets whose produce is consistently organic, and even a good place to buy fresh fish.

I attended the French cooking class with couple of my friends back in Aug. Chef Fabrice was amazing, knowledgeable, and friendly.I love to cook so I learned some great techniques, because we literally made everything from scratch. We were guided every step of the way. The ingredients were top notch, and the cooking area was clean and well put together. The classes are such a fun alternative for something different to do in town with friends.We really enjoyed the class and the delicious food at the end of the night, and an overall awesome time. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to expand their skills.

Chef Marty showed us how to make wonderful pasta (without need for the expensive pasta-making machine we had recently purchased) using our hands, and an eggshell half as a measuring cup for the right amount of water and oil. Her home is a little piece of Italy in San Diego, her food is simple and delicious.We had a great time, cooking, talking and learning more about Italian food and culture. A very hands-on class.

Michael was UHMAZING!!!!!!He turned my non-cooking husband into a Michelin Star Chef!!!He was able to teach and explain things to my husband of 41 years who now I will allow to cook me dinner. Something my husband and I have wanted to do for a while, we went to Chef Jordans home where we were warmly greeted. Each step of the way was a fun experience never felt awkward and no lack of food!
