My family and I came here for dinner one night and ordered a little bit of everything from the menu. The seafood is fresh and the sauces were good. I wasnt a big fan of the gumbo or the mussels in wine sauce (the wine taste was pretty strong) but the other dishes were a hit. Would definitely come back again.

We visited 7/20/24. This place was amazing. My husband is a seafood fanatic. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. The crab snapped open, no soft shells. The flavor was incredible and even the sausage, potato and corn was superb (We got the $60 seafood bundle with crab, lobster,shrimp, corn, sausage and a potato, which after Groupon was $33) There were pounds of food. My husband eats A LOT and he couldnt finish it. It could easily feed two people. They also have happy hour specials from 3-6. We also got a dozen fresh oyster for $1.50 each during happy hour. They were soooo good and came with 3 sauces. We ate the oysters in the restaurant and got the feast to go. They also have great selection and prices on beer and wine. The location looks small from the outside but is actually huge with lots of comfortable booths and tvs. The waitress was so sweet and friendly. We will be visiting again on our next trip to Sacramento.

We purchased a Groupon and so glad we did. The food was good and filling. The owner is really nice and gave great service. I got the snow crabs in garlic butter sauce and coconut shrimp. My bf got a boil with mussels, shrimp, sausage potatoes in the city sauce.

Love this place. Staff and management are kind and very helpful and friendly. Thet really make the experience here. Feel like family dinners. I recommend this spot for couple or groups of friend. Right off 99 and mac plenty of parking. Atmosphere is fun and relaxed. I recommend the city combo mix. And city oyster.

Me and my dad went out to try this new spot because we had a Groupon voucher. There was friendly staff who were very helpful.We both ordered the choose your own seafood boil. Me, I got the headed shrimp while my dad got the headless shrimp. I got the off the charts while my dad got mild he can’t really handle spicy but the mild was still hot to him. Not to mention they didn’t even devein the shrimp. The also forgot my rice I ordered.Overall the food was ok at best not the easiest to peel the shrimp but definitely flavorful. There are much better place to go

Good place for Cajun style seafood. The seafood selection is large and also a couple different spice variety to select from.Get the Big City mix if you are unsure of what to order. The Bulgogi fries are good appetizers too.The staff are very friendly in helping though the menu to find what you want to eat.

Crab city has some nice good jumbo shrimps and carbs! Super delicious and steam The place is super neat and the beach decor takes you to a word...Pretty nice touch. Our server was just as amazing and super friendly. Took down a star as the seasoning was not totally on point. Tasty but missing the extra kick, like some competitors in the area. Will totally eat there again.

SOOOOO DELICIOUS! Tastes fresh and the garlic noodles are amazing, crab cakes are 95% crab and also delicious!We got the downtown combo, but found there were too many clams for our tastes. Next time well just get a pound of shrimp and crab each!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Warning, this is a family friendly place, so there are often screaming toddlers. If you do not like this, get your food to go. ITS WORTH IT!

Me and my wife went in for a late dinner and it was alitle Quiet but then they put music on and it was better atmosphere.i ordered the 3 steak tacos and some coconut shrimp and the tacos were really good but the shrimp was alitle overcooked aka rubbery and 2 beers and my wife had the surf and turf that was good also. Been here a few times and everything was great - food and service. Place was busy with several families and they managed to take care of us with the few waitresses they had. 1st time there and wasnt packed. We were sat in the far back, so had to go get waiter. I asked for the mussels to be removed due to an allergy but told no substitutions...they really need to rethink that situation. Other than that, Id say its like Boiling crab or Captain Crab 🦀

Had a family dinner here and we left very happy and full. The server was super nice and patient with us and provided excellent recs. The House Special Crab is THE the dish to order. Deep fried and incredible flavor - the perfect blend of sweet salty spicy buttery, served over garlic noodles. a medium size which was the perfect amount for 2 hungry adults. also got the fried oysters with Cajun fries. Will definitely be back for more :)

I really wanted to like it, and my food was okay, but I’ve had so much better for a lot less money. Hubby got the surf and turf and said the steak was really tough and the lobster tail was so small that it looked like half was missing and no butter offered or given. We had to ask for everything (silverware, salt and pepper, scissors for cutting off the shrimp heads and cutting shells, etc) and then sat there waiting. They were out of the desserts that my husband would have liked and he left hungry. The young lady who served us was nice enough, but it was really slow (we were the only ones there) so there should not have been any reason for our frustration with the lack of service and amenities on a $100+ dinner. Plus, if you’re trying to be a more “upscale” restaurant, reconsider the (pretty loud) music you’re playing. I will not recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good food and service at a reasonable price.

Came for a late night dinner. The server/waitress was phenomenal! She helped us promptly and brought our order to us very quickly. Much appreciation for her!For those that love garlic noodles, this is definitely a recommended place for it! The garlic noodles was garlicky in just the right amounts without overpowering the noodle. The noodles also werent overly oily, which made it go down very well. I think its a bonus for those a little more health conscious!We also ordered the pound of medium spicy Thai-Jun flavored shrimp and it was delicious! Just the right amount of heat, giving a good kick and clearing our sinuses hahaha! Did wish the shrimps were deveined prior to cooking though. Dont mind peeling the shells, but having to devein them ourselves was a bit of a let down.Overall, would come again!

The food here is just freaken awesome. The lobster was flawlessly cooked, thaw in your mouth delicious. I obtained the Thai-jun light which still have the spicy kick but not so hot to where you cant taste your food. Regardless of the number of times I come right here the food is always good. Your home crab was extremely excellent, has a pleasant, salted as well as zesty kick which the three blends praises one an additional. It was finger licking great. For just two web servers I give it to them the service was terrific. I gave this a 5 celebrity as a result of the amazing food they have. Service is a trial and error yet the food is constantly delicious right here. Its been a while but male did I miss out on that Thai-jun sauce they have.

Good Cajun fusion style boil. Service is attentive. The food is good. Prices are competitive. They made good suggestions for kids from their menu. They also brought the kids food out first and allowed us to get them settled and eating before they brought our crab. 👍The only problem is the ambient music. That isnt a deal breaker, though. I will be back. It also was very hot in there, but I guess it comes with the territory based on how they prepare food in the kitchen.

The crab and the shrimp was way over cooked and they charge you 6.00 for butter to dip your crab in that ended up being a flake. Then when I told the waitress that the shrimp was so dry you couldn’t eat it. Her response was “ well you have to peel it” ummm yes yes you do but if it’s over cooked you can’t peel it thank you. No offer to discount nothing just walks away. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Terrible service and not great food for the price.

I took my mom for a mothers day treat, to this place for crabs and seafood - and we are very familiar with seafood boil and Lousiana style of seafood cajun boils. we go to this type of restaurant all the time. I requested the lemon sauce and the waitress, which I later learned was also the manager, told me that they were out of this sauce . we opted for the mix of sauces, and I asked the waitress if it was spicy, and she said that the sauce was mild, not spicy since they did not have the spicy option, only mild. I asked for a thai ice tea and my mom asked for a sangria. the drinks were not good: the thai ice tea was watery and almost not sweet and the sangria was mostly water and tasteless. when the boil came, it looked good, however it was very spicy and hot, so much that we needed to seep water along . I am ok with spicy - even though I prefer not too spicy- however my mom is not ok with it. I called the waitress and told her about the drinks, and that the food was excesively spicy and burning my mouth, and her response was quote: that the food was NOT spicy, was mild, and that no one complained before, so I felt like I was talking to a wall and that she was not really interested on my experience at the restaurant, whether good or bad. we ate the food because we were hungry- my mom ate little because it was to spicy for her, which was dissapointing. the waitress took off the drinks from the bill which I think was reasonable, however I do not think they care if you like the food or not. be prepared for very spicy food even if they say it is mild .

I ordered a meal described as 8 oz ribeye, lobster tail, seasonal veggies. Seemed a good deal for $16. The plate had just beef cubes, rice, and a few grilled veggies, but no lobster. When I asked, the waitress said the menu should have had white-out over the lobster. Not sure why it would then still be under the Surf and Turf section. So, their mistake, but they didnt offer any consideration, say an onion ring, maybe a taco. I didnt argue, just post for others to ponder. Appears a new restaurant which needs training to hold customers.

I took my mom here for her Birthday and I was not disappointed. I made reservations. The food was great. Perhaps be cause it was after valentines the kitchen staff was worn out but I ordered the steak and lobster.....I had one bite, second bite I spit into napkin . I got my meal, 10 minutes before my friends. Wine had likely been uncorked for 3-4 days. Waitress never followed up. Friends first order of crab legs was cold after it was delivered 10 mins after my meal. Came back quickly but over cooked and near impossible to fork out. To their credit crab legs comped and steak half price but very unusual for a places that was rated well. Unfortunately, so bad I could never try it again

This is my third time here I really liked their garlic noodles tonight we got shrimp baskets and an order of snow crab the shrimp was tough very over cooked the crab was dry on the inside the claws was damn near empty I spoke to our waitress she informed us their snow crab is always like that because its frozen but their selling it for $37 a pound as if its fresh I guess I gotta find another garlic noodle place I like smh 🤦🏾‍♀️

Im a little late on this post but I couldnt go without posting. First of all let me start off by saying thank you again to Richard.... The level of customer service and human kindness that I received was exceptional.Two days before my birthday the government had another mandatory shutdown which meant my birthday celebration was going to be placed on hold. Although I was sad about it there wasnt much I could do. I contacted Crab City in hopes that I could still have my favorite meal on my birthday...OMG..... Richard the owner was so unbelievably kind.. He prepared all three of my favorite entrees and allowed me to pick them up a little early from the resturant...I was in a pretty emotional state at this time as this quarantine and isolation was beginning to get to me... I believe Richard saw that in me and he was kind enough to take time out of his day to engage in a wonderful conversation with me, gave me some encouraging words and walked me out to my car... As I was leaving he gave me a hug and wished me a happy birthday and thanks to him it was....Richard your level of service and kind hearted spirit is exceptional.Those are the qualities that you dont see in people anymore....In any case ... So I went to Crab City yesterday 8/11/16 and I actually have been wanting to go for a while now due to that one of my acquaintances told me that it was better than The Boiling Crab and Firehouse. Well I went yesterday as I said and it was HORRIBLE I had gotten the crab cakes and the oyster plate. First off they gave me 4 oyster and fires that were literally fulled up to the top of the to go tray SMH but 4 dam oyster and to top it off the oyster were not even cooked right they were soggy and had no flavor so I threw them literally out of my car I was so IRRITATED THAT I SPENT $24 ON THAT S**T. And to make matters even worst is when I went in the crab cakes that I has purchased as well they were just as horrible as the oysters I just threw out my car. They tasted like some boxed crab cakes that Ive bought from the grocery store before which was horrible as well. This is my first review on any place that Ive had spent my hard working money on Ive been to some places and never have I had such a bad experience so yes it was that bad!!! THEY GET NO STARS FROM ME BUT SINCE I HAVE TO PUT ONE IN ORDER TO POST THIS THEN HERE YOU GO A STAR FOR ROBBING ME OUT OF $24.00 THANKS!!

Asked for things multiple of times, and the servers ignored us and proceeded to serve other customers. Clam chowder was good, but they forgot about our order until we asked about it and after nagging, they finally decided to deliver it. Its a little hole in the wall place thats easy to miss and nothing fancy inside at all. However these places can sometimes be an amazing find and this little jem is a perfect example of that. I ordered a one and a half pound garlic butter roasted Dungeness crab. It was absolutely amazing. I was so sad when i got to the last crab claw and realized that i had devoured an entire crab to myself. It was happy hour so i ordered a mason jar sangria which was very tasty and filled with fruit. I also ordered the cajun garlic fries. The spices and the garlic went so well together. My daughter had some quite large coconut shrimp which she really enjoyed. For dessert we shared a tiramisu cake that just melted in your mouth. I cant wait to go back and try the king crab legs with the combo seasoning. If u love sea food this is the place to go.
