Another perk of working in Downtown Santa Ana, is having access to restaurants like Crave. I love going here for breakfast if I feel like staying somewhat healthy, because I’m still satisfied and full when I leave. I got the make your own omelette which comes with a side of country potatoes and sourdough toast.Ok, maybe I got a side of the oatmeal raisin cookie as well, but oh well! You got to check this place out. 🔥

Really great food that the restaurant gives its own personality and flavours to. Not just a basic breakfast you can get anywhere for the good price they sell it for!The atmosphere is great, open space with nice seating and a nice mellow playlist in the background.Service is pay at the register first and someone will bring you your food! Very casual. I loved this place!

This place left an imprint on me. I can never visit California again without eating here! My family and I got a variety of food, and it was all SO tasty! The service was great and you can tell everyone that works here really cares and goes out of their way to make you feel at home. This place gets really busy, but they still make sure to keep their quality of food and service up to par.

A great space and fun decor inside with friendly and helpful staff.For a first time experience, the menu is straight forward, showing some twists on classics, with vegan and vegetarian options, a full coffee menu and a full bar.Recrecommended: Bottomless mimosas $15⭐Also.. I really love this place. Ive been here 4 times and these are the two dishes that I always order. The everything bagel with salmon is my favorite. It taste refreshing and the salmon does not taste fishy. They are really generous with the salmon which comes with lots of cucumber and tomatoes. The tri tip dip sandwich is really mouth watering. If comes with two type of dips, both of which really enhances the flavor. The best part is that both dishes are under 20$! If you come on a week day then you will get in line to order. During the weekend, servers will come to your table to take orders. There is a free parking structure on 4th Street on the weekend too.

My bestfriend got married yesterday at the Old Orange County Courthouse and we were looking for a place to have a nice meal. Even tho we came a little close to closing time (1:30pm) they still seated our group of 14 and took such wonderful care of us! They even gave us a slight discount on the bottomless mimosas since we couldn’t fully enjoy the 2 hour limit. The food was sooo fresh and delicious as well, I had their Lox bagel and the smoked salmon was some of the freshest I’ve eaten☺️. If you’re looking for some healthy freshly made bites, or baked goodies I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff really makes you feel welcomed there. Today Im at the start of 4th Street where the signs read Calle Cuatro at Crave restaurant. As far as good early morning eating goes I believe Ive found it. I entered taking in a modern yet historically rustic atmosphere, quite splendid. The menu was specific, service on point and sidewalk seating available. Plenty of seating inside as well btw however its 11:42 am now and Ive noticed more patrons entering than departing so that should help with identifying rush hour. My order arrived before I could pull my phone from my pocket and I was proud to learn Ill be returning quite often. For $11.84 (minus gratuity) Ill surely be enjoying the rest of my day!

My family and I really enjoyed our dining experience at Crave! My son in law and daughter visiting from northern Cal. found this hidden restaurant gem. My husband and I drove in from Pasadena for our post Covid family gathering.. Never knew this place exist.As a family of six with two active young grandkids and baby the open environment and music were perfect! We ordered a variety of breakfasts from their tantalizing selections. I ordered an omelet with my choice of ingredients. All the food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor with generous portions. Our server Frank was awesome providing exceptional service from the second our family walked through their doors. Highly recommended. Must have the cookies!!!!! Dont leave without one. This place is always packed at lunch time. Service is fast and friendly. Ordered a spicy curry pork sandwich yesterday. Totally enjoyed it! Pull pork, well seasoned, just the right amount of curry spiciness. The baguette was perfect! Pretty good portion. Hungry so I ate the whole thing. And wanted more. Good job, Crave!

Weirdly enough the thing I liked most about this place was the sourdough bread. I dont like sourdough usually but this place got it right. I got the sandwich and soup combo and it was pretty good! Crave has the best bread! Every great sandwich has to start with delicious fresh baked bread. Everything at Crave is always fresh and tasty, I love everything I order. The portions are large so just keep that in mind when ordering. This is a great addition to downtown Santa Ana. The lunch menu is sandwiches and salads (with the option of half of each). I had a sandwich. The bread was excellent. I thought the meat on the sandwich was a bit dry and would have benefited from a small sauce on the side. That said, it could have just been what I ordered. The beer selection seemed carefully curated. They also have a handful of wines by the glass. Our server mentioned that they were giving thought to opening for dinner as well.

Rude worker. Did a Phone order ahead of time so I wouldnt have to waste my 1/2 hour lunch and eat. They told me there was only 1 person working and Id have to wait at the end of the line. I walked out. My debit card was compromised here years ago and I let that slide and went back with cash. I tried both the grilled beef tri tip and the turkey sandwich. They were both huge sandwiches and delicious. All of the ingredients were fresh and good, and the bread in the sandwich was some of the best sourdough Ive had anywhere. The dark roost coffee was great, too. The sandwiches were $10-$12, but I think a good value for how large and good they were. It wouldnt be hard to eat half the sandwich with the included pasta salad (also delicious) and be filled. The restaurant had a good vibe, nice music and decor. Will definitely be coming back asap to try more food out, it was just too good.

I come to crave a few times a week, and it still gets 5 stars. Pretty much anyone that works in this area can be seen here at lunch every day. I came here to have brunch on a Saturday and the wait here want all that bad. The interior atmosphere was dark and ambient enough to enjoy company. I ordered an omelette with bacon, cilantro, mushrooms and cheddar. My date ordered the salmon bagel and for the first time in my life, I experienced eating a bagel; better than I thought it would be. The food here was decadent and flavorful. My omlette was prepared perfectly and wasnt overcooked. The potatoes on the side were nice and crispy but I wished it was crispy hash browns. This is a lovely place for a quick bite. Actually, it wasnt super fast, but it was good. We Googled Avocado Toast (because that is what people from the other coast do before they leave to go home). Surprisingly trendy little place tucked into downtown Santa Ana. Street parking can be difficult to find, but we lucked out. Be aware that tickets were being tucked into windshields every which way we looked. Friendly service, ample seating and good sized portions. We had breakfast and ordered two different kinds of frittatas, both vegetarian. It took 30 min to prepare them. Had to actually run back to the meter to add more time for parking. The first bite my husband took revealed ham in the frittata. (We eat kosher.) Umm wth? Instead of waiting another 30 min for a redo we just shared mine, which was too big for me anyhow. The staff were apologetic and gave us a $10 certificate to come back. Coffees were good, but not hot enough. Will definitely go back to check out lunch fare.

Crave Restaurant is the best spot to order a lox and cream cheese bagels and in my opinion is one my favorite breakfast spots in Orange County! When you gotta eat, you gotta eat. After an early afternoon of dress fittings. I took my mother and my niece to Capital Grille for Lunch because it was the most conveniently located choice. The décor was very nice (wood paneling, brass fixtures, fresh flowers, etc.), so I was a bit intimidated at first (I think I was wearing flip flops. My entourage was appropriately dressed). The first time I came here I was on Jury duty at the Federal Court across the street. One day a few of us ventured across the street to get out of the building. This was a particular awful case and we needed some breathing room. This restaurant is located in one of the many old brick buildings on 4th St. Its been taken back to the brick and decorated in an industrial style. Its not a quiet restaurant but that o.k. as this is a breakfast/lunchtime place. I have only had lunch here.

Came here on a recommendation from my cousin. Loved it ... Ordered the bacon and egg sandwich it was sooooo yummy along with having a salted caramel latte which was excellent!! Will be back!

Really disappointed that the service has gotten to be so awful here (at least on Saturday) because the food is amazing. Last time, the manager felt so bad about how poorly we were treated he threw in free cookies and coffee (we didnt even complain), so naturally we gave it another shot. Second time, service was just as bad but there was no manager on duty to make it right. Wont be going back, at least not for dine-in.

Went to Crave’s at the peek of lunchtime, have to say I was really satisfied with both the food and service! The guy at the counter taking my order was very helpful in my order decision & I was surprised at how fast the service was, I waited maybe 7 mins tops...only thing was that it was very crowded & noisy but I found a seat right away...I ordered the Cesar salad & half BLTA sandwich on sourdough combo...it was yummy!!!
