These were the best tacos I have ever had. They were so flavorful. The rice and beans were also so delicious. I wish we lived closer but we will definitely stop by soon if we are ever in that area

We always pass this place when leaving Cabazon Outlets. Today, we decided to stop and give it a try. Reviews were decent, and someone mentioned best nachos. We ordered a steak taco and super nachos with chicken. The taco was good. Homemade corn tortilla, nice size, and the steak was tender.The super nachos were a flop. The chips are store bought tortilla chips and cheap nacho cheese. If youve ever eaten cheap nacho cheese before, you know exactly what Im talking about. We couldnt find any chicken under all that cilantro, two types of hotsauce, and cheese. We barely noticed the beans once we pushed the chips over.You pay $2 for a canned soda and .50 cents for a cup of ice 🥴 I cant down the atmosphere because its obvious when driving in, youre going to eat outside. However, the flies will fight you for your food. Bring cash, $1 charge for cards. Great customer service, the staff is really nice.

Anyways, on with my review.So Ive been coming to this shop since 2003 and I guarantee anyone that this place has the best burrito you will ever taste in your life. One tip I can give you is, if you order a burrito, order it with everything! You dont want to miss out on the perfect combination of bursting flavors that will leave your mouth watering and wanting more. Man I cant wait to go back and get me a steak burrito with everything. Btw I think the burritos just went up by 50 cents, (now 9.50) but I think they need to charge 10.50 or 11 with the quality and service.

Such a great little find! Didn’t want your typical fast food but wanted something on the way home. Got a simple bean and cheese burrito with salsa and cilantro. The salsa is so flavorful and the cilantro added that extra freshness. Also tried a giant beef taco. The fresh corn tortilla was a bit too thick at first but the more taco I ate, the more the tortilla grew on me. Loved it! Overall, if you’re looking for a great taco shack, I highly recommend this one!

You have to eat local anytime you can. The veggie burrito was fantastic. Especially if you put a little bit of ghost pepper sauce on it. What was the chili Verde burrito was delicious also. Definitely well worth the money.

We were on our way to grab lunch and saw this on the drive. Looked like a hole in the ground but we saw some people in the line so figured it may be good. So glad we stopped and tried their food.We did 4 tacos. One of each they carry they were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Very authentic and flavourful. Food tasted very home made and felt like true street food The girl taking the order was polite and friendly.Would def eat here again next time I’m in Palm Springs area.

Food is always good. I must say, I left this place with major anxiety. The lady in charge is always a little rude to her staff but today she was extra toxic. Very unprofessional talking down to the 2 young girls working there. She was yelling at them for not being as quick as she would like them to be. Definitely a toxic, hostile, bullying work environment for those poor girls. I dont know if Ill go back to coyote tacos. Literally gave me anxiety the whole drive back to Palm Springs. Maybe if the lady wasnt yelling at the girls and focused on the food she was preparing, she wouldnt have put Chile in my 3 year olds tacos (that my child refused to eat).

The flavors of the food are really good but it’s wayyyyy too salty!!! I’ve had the steak burrito multiple times and it tastes so good but I refuse to buy it anymore because for the rest of the day I’m downing water, so much so it even wakes me from my sleep to drink more water!If they made it less salty I’d go back to being a regular patron but it’s every single time now I’d rather skip it and go home.

This whole in the wall has legit Mexican food. This place is in the middle of nowhere, actually it is in the middle of everywhere. It is next to the outlet mall in cabazon and more importantly next to the worlds biggest dinosaur museum near the the outlet. The salsa comes in spicy and medium. The medium salsa is quite spicy. The hot salsa is even spicier. Threw steak tacos were good and the burrito was even better. The cost of food is inexpensive. No horchata and no bathrooms. Easy in and easy if the freeway.

This is a little hidden gem in basically what feels like the edge of nowhere. Went here today with the fam, every one of us loved it. The menu is basic, the food is awesome. Really great price for food that tastes so much better than so many sit down Mexican restaurants. It is unique. The beans are not refried (which I love) but more like charro beans. They have just a hint of heat to them which we really liked. The small and large tortillas that the tacos come in are freshly made of corn. Super good. We tried both the steak and chicken, both tasted great. We definitely plan to stop here when possible every time heading to or from the coast.

We were about to park, when this lady in an SUV came at us, rolling down her windows yelling at us with a ugly attitude, saying we can park there, it’s owners parking spot, I am putting it nicely. We were so confused and backup and she pulled in and flipped us off. This is a taco shack one exit west of the Morongo hotel and casino. We stop there on our way home from Palm Springs. Very tasty tacos and burritos with on site made tortillas. Be careful with the hot hot sauce. Plenty of parking and very friendly staff. Outside tables and chairs only and they dont open until 11am. Try it, I think you will like this one too.

We absolutely love crazy Coyote, and all their delicious food and the great attitude of everyone who works there. Three stars is not a bad review, so dont take it that way. At the same time, they are unreliable with their hours of operation. Theyre only open from 11 to 5, 6 days a week, yet today we arrived at 3:45, more than an hour before their own stated closing time, and they were closed. Both the open and closed signs were displayed, and people were clearly wrapping up their day.Wed been talking about and anticipating the burritos for hours before we went there after a hike. Not gonna make that plan again knowing the disappointment probably in store. Not the first time. Alas.

This food is delicious! We are visiting all the way from Wisconsin, where my mother owns an authentic Mexican restaurant. And just WOW. My husband ordered the steak burrito and it is packed with flavor. Unbelievably good. Dont listen to the negative reviews! They make their tortillas from scratch.. that says it all. It was decent given the location. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a coffee. They were both pretty basic. But I didnt really expect something with that unexplainable wow factor that you get with amazing food. It also took what seemed like an eternity for our food to be ready. On a whim while driving LA to Phoenix, we stopped here. The other reviews were glowing and who cant turn down tacos?Pulling up, we snagged the last spot in the small parking lot, although street parking is also doable with enough room for 18 wheelers/RVs along the road. Its always a good sign when a place is busy. Despite the business, they were very vast in getting our food to us.Wife did a chicken and steak taco. I decided to change it up and do a quesadilla. The meat is incredible, but spicy. I like spicy foods and it was right in my wheelhouse. Id say a solid Medium heat. My wife however is not a spicy eater and although she enjoyed it, she needed something to cool down with after.We have decided that our trips back and forth along I-10 from now on will include a stop at the Crazy Coyote. Seriously, these are great tacos done simple and done right.

The food is absolutely delicious, and this review is based on our food that we got just prior to closing so it was end of day quality (and still great).My highlight was the Quesadilla. The texture is perfect, crunchy outside, gooey cheese inside. It pairs very well with the salsa.Close second is the Super Fries, which I recommend with regular cheese and not nacho cheese. The fries themselves are not your typical French fries. These are amazingly fried discs of starchy goodness. Beautifully crispy shell with a heavenly potato center that mashes at the press of your tongue.The tacos were good, but I felt the tortilla were a little too thick for my personal preference.Overall, Id come again. You can walk off your meal after at the outlets nearby. Perfect combo!

I was here a few months ago and a special trip brought me back. I was so excited to bring my family this time. Our huge order was prepared super quickly and the staff was efficient and awesome. Taking a family vacation and we stopped to see the dinosaurs. After that we looked for places near by to eat dinner and saw this place. This place has the best nachos hands down. A friend of mine introduced me to this place while out shopping in Cabazon and so I make it a point to stop here everytime Im out there. Although I will admit, I have made the drive before JUST to pick up some nachos. This time I decided to try their steak tacos and I was not disappointed. The tortilla tasted like it was homemade and from yellow corn. The steak was tender and tasted like it was perfectly seasoned and their salsa complemented the taco so well. It was all so delicious. I love this place and cant wait for my next visit so I can try something different from their menu.

I came here wanting to try their delicious tacos the smell The smell of their cooking was delightful as I passed by it on my way to the supercharger station to plug in my Tesla. After plugging in I did the long walk back over to them to try some delicious tacos while my car was getting charged. It was quite a walk and there was no sidewalk to walk on and it was quite dangerous but I really really want it one of their tacos. By the time I got there people were still eating outside but they refused to serve me! They told me they were closed it looks like I barely missed them when I looked at my clock it was 6:58 PM they said they close at 7 o’clock who closes at 7 o’clock? That’s way too early. Anyways I was still there just before 7 o’clock but yet they refuse to serve me saying they ready turn off the kitchen. I walked all that time to get there one of these delicious tacos well hopefully they would’ve been delicious but I was greeted with rude people who refuse to Serve me despite the fact that I was still there two minutes before closing time. It was not look of them they could of made an exception for us but no they did not even though we was there before They are ridiculous closing time of 7 PM.

This place is incredible! Love the location. Close to the freeway and casino. They have air mist that are on all the time when it’s really hot out. Their menu is small for a reason! You only need 3-4 options at Mexican place and this spot nails it! Love their burritos and quesadillas with salsa verde. It is so damn tasty! Their burritos are stuffed with meat. For years I didnt realize this was here until a friend brought me, and Ive been coming back for over a decade. Its the best burrito Ive had living in SoCal, the spiciest too. I get the pork chili verde burrito with smoked jalapeno salsa and an extra side of ghost pepper salsa for dipping. The heat is intense, but the richness of the taste tells me its from real quality ingredients and not just artificial flavorings. Of course they have non-spicy options too and the tortillas alone are worth a stop. Bring a jacket though in the winter, it may be SoCal, but the wind can get intense in Cabezon this time of year.

Was debating between the Chile Verde pork burrito & the chicken burrito. Assumed the chicken was your basic shredded style and wanted something marinated so went with the Chile Verde, with rice, beans, medium salsa, and pick de gallo. It was really good! Used some of the hot habanero salsa on top but the medium already had a sufficient kick. My boyfriend got the chicken burrito and when I took a bite, found that it was saucy and marinated as well! I love a good Chile Verde but next time I go there I definitely will get the chicken. Burritos were not too small and not too big. Both of us were happy, and after ended up going to the clothing racks next door and buying a super comfy hoodie, and chatted with the guy who runs the place. He was kind and extremely thankful for our patronage, and shared some history of the Morongo reservation.

Im sitting in the parking lot eating their veggie burrito and oh man.... if you love yhe creamy cilantro from pollo loco, youll love the sauce they use for it. The cilantro tasted so rich and fresh. I usually never write reviews but I truly do love the food here but today was a bit disturbing. I have been going here for a bout a year whenever I’m passing banning. The two ladies I have always come in counter with are so nice and pleasant. Today there was an older lady there with glasses and a ponytail I’ve maybe seen her once in the past. She was sooooo rude to one of the workers slamming burritos down after they were made and yelling at the young worker for almost any move they made I felt so bad and almost didn’t order I didn’t say anything cause I wasn’t sure if I would make it worse for the young worker when I left. DONT PASS THIS UP! This place has amazing tacos. We passed by here for years and finally decided to stop. Now we stop every time we go to and come from Palm Springs. Today ay 4:44 pm I stopped all excited they were finally not closed early. Homemade food is always gonna beat fast food, so thats why they got three. But personally, it could be better. Everything is there to make a good taco, but they are not where I like my street tacos to be. The tortillas are great, but they are so great that none of the good, greasy, oniony, cilantro taste gets through. Its too much tortilla, I think, for carne asada tacos. Quick service, the weather was perfect, and it was a nice break from the freeway madness.

I discovered this gem of a taco shack thanks to triple A (Automobile Assoc. of America) who named it as one of the best Route 1O road stops between Tucson and Los Angeles. I have a Pavlovian reaction when I drive by and its not open. Rarely do I fail to stop when it is open. My favorite is the chicken burrito with a mild sauce and no onions. It can fill you up so much you need to save some for later or maybe you wont feel the need to eat anything else that day. I love the staff who always make me feel welcome. This Taco eatery is off of the 10 freeway and close to the Cabazon outlets. Other than that, there is not much to write home about.My family found the food to be lackluster in flavor and very generic in general. The tortillas for the tacos were incredibly thick, to the point that it seems as if you are eating a thin piece of bread wrapping around the meat. The salsas were under flavored with minimal spice.Overall, I cannot recommend this eatery. I understand offering food for the lowest common denominator, but we are in Southern California, not Wyoming... there is a certain level of flavor and texture that you come to expect of Mexican food, especially if you are serving it in the Los Angeles Major Metro Area.

I was far from welcomed and even felt put off. The woman behind the counter must have been racist, because when i referred. To the steak as carne asada, she gave me a horrid look and corrected me that it was STEAK. Ignoring her ignorance I ordered, having three children napkins are essential. We were given four and when my daughter went to ask for more, she replied by telling my 10 year old that we must be a bunch of dirty people. I would not recommend. Stay away.

Food was good. The reason for one star was that the kitchen staff disrespected me and my daughter. My daughter, (2 1/2yrs) saying in a hurried tone to go potty. I went to take a look if they had a restroom on the side or anything and one of the kitchen staff popped her head out asking if i need anything. I took my daughter all the way to the end of the parking lot near our car and put my daughter down, nothing else. Then the same kitchen staff ceme out yelling to me and my daughter saying that i cant do that here and that it is very disrespectful and that we should leave. (Disrespectful in what way? I havent done anything to disrespect anyone.) After that I went to put my daughter in our car and hoping i can make it to the restroom in time. In the midst of opening the car door my daughter peed herself and started to cry heavily. Do you know how heart breaking it is to soil yourself? That made me very upset.If there was any way to prevent that outcome, what would you have done?

Steak Burrito was really good the only reason I gave them a 3 is the size of the Burrito compared to their price..half of the tortilla was fold inside.

I love it ...I just try this place on my way to LA from Palm springs .this is a little place next to the Morongo ... delicious tacos try the stake quesadilla I really recommend this place thank you to all the staff see you soon on my next visit

Yummy.... tortillas are handmade....I had a chicken breast taco plate it was delicious ....tacos so large I only made it thru one.... so Im taking the other taco home...bring your appetite when you stop by ...

The employes are rude and the food has no flavor... if Id rather go to mcdonalds,less than 5min. Away. Honestly this is a one time thing. We only tried it and it was pretty bad

These Tacos are home made recipes from Morongo band of Indians. They are sooo delicious! The chicken is marinated in a yellow chili sauce.
