Crazy RockN Sushi - Covina in Covina

On our way to Ontario Mill, we stopped by Crazy Rockn Sushi in Covina to have some sushi as my son recommended this place to us. The moment we laid eyes on the menu, we knew we were in for a treat. Its a place where you could blindly select any dish, and it would undoubtedly be spectacular.To keep things on the healthier side, we opted for the sashimi salad, a wise choice indeed. The bed of mixed greens was fresh and delicious, perfectly dressed with what seemed to be a soy sauce-based dressing. On top of this vibrant canvas sat a delightful array of sashimi slices, including shrimp, salmon, tuna, crabmeat, and yellowtail. Each piece was a burst of freshness and flavor, and the dressing complemented the sashimi beautifully.The true star of our meal, though, was the Zen Sashimi Roll. It was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Inside this roll, youll find a harmonious blend of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail, accented by the satisfying crunch of cucumber. The combination of different fish might seem ambitious, but the chef executed it majestically, delivering a knockout sensation that left us craving more.What sets Crazy Rockn Sushi apart is not only the exceptional food but also the warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is awesome 👌👏 I wouldnt have it everyday but it is amazing. Also the service is the best service that Ive ever had. The atmosphere is great, come see for yourself. This place is a five out of five. Crazy Rockin Sushi is amazing 👏 you should come here.

Not a lot of people right now. Fast service and friendly staff. Love the sashimi my favorite.Jalapeño poppers and a beer. Thai iced tea is good.we order a crazy boat to try different variety of rolls. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.

The food was excellent. The fatty tuna omg. You need to experience it for yourself. I promise it will not disappoint. Sashimi was really good.

1st time coming and I like it. Love that they have a good selection on hot menu and I didnt realize bento actually really encompasses all of your favorites, didnt really need to order from small menu. Half the family cant do any raw stuff, so major win there. Orange chicken, chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, gyoza and shrimp tempura are fantastic. Definitely reorder again. Enjoyed the albacore special, fish was cold and tasted fresh. The calamari tempura and popcorn shrimp, spicy tuna on fried rice is pass...the look/texture of calamari and shrimp were bland so the ranch sauce pairing they brought out totally made sense. Tuna is good, rice hotness was not jiving for me, more like hot rice slightly crispy rather then actually crispy.Service is good but come early, if you dont like to wait, was getting a wait after we left close to 6. All in all Id come back to try the other sashimi and roll specials.

Had a really good time here, good service and sushi. They are very accommodating and friendly. I was disappointed with tempura on the bento, it was more beer battered than actual tempura breading. Thats a big one for me. The picture on the menu looked great, but ours were not like the picture. Overall good experience and would come back for other items.

Always a great experience. Sushi is on point and the portions are abundant.

CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE HANDING OVER YOUR CARD TO PAY!!!!!! Food was good, service was not so good! We waited quite a while before we were able to get our drink refills, soda and water! Rang the bell at table a few times before anybody came by. Restaurant was not busy at all at this time. Upon paying the bill, we didnt realize they had already given themselves an 18% tip, which was definitely not deserved, until after we had given them our cards and they came back with the receipts for us to sign, which also had a space for another tip on top of that! Yes, we know tips are automatically added if your party is 6 or more. We were only a party of 5.

So far so good. I am new to this are and have tried out a few top notch restaurants here in Covina RockN Sushi, and Hijoz de su Madre Mariscos on Vincent are my two most favorite places.

Fantastic food & service! Sushi was fresh and tasty. The Omakase sashimi dish comes with a full bottle of hot sake! Our server Maddy was amazing. We liked it so much, I booked a Xmas get together for a large group for next week!
