We came from out of town and didn’t know the area, but stumbled upon this nice little sushi spot. The seafood soup was a nice portion for two and very tasty! The green, baked mussels could’ve been a bit more baked (my preference), but the abalone tataki and fried onions made up for it. The seaweed and cucumber salad was also a nice combination.Overall, great portions and tasty!

Ive been here twice so far, and both times, I tried 3-4 different rolls and havent been disappointed yet. The Seafood Miso soup is also 👌 and the spicy edamame and orange chicken are bomb. Everything Ive tried here has been so good. The service is good too they dont keep you waiting too long. The music is definitely something you can jam along with. They play a lot of good throwback songs.

I love this place! Sashimi is fresh and high quality, and it came with sake for an additional 1 cent! We ordered multiple special rolls and they were all very delicious. My favorite is the giant scallops roll.Overall, the food is great and very affordable. Highly recommended

Back home and was looking for sushi place near me and read reviews but looking like we have a gem here people. Officially one of my spots now in Cali food was delicious, fresh and made to perfection. Besides the waitress not being attentive even when the place was not busy I paid it no mind. The food made up for all that.Update went back and I still loved it . Everything was delicious

So this place was recommended to me by the front desk staff at the hotel I am staying at, and let me tell you something. Best decision I ever made was come to this place. The service is amazing, friendly, fast and very efficient, food is amazing, do I even need to go in the detail of textures of the most amazing combination of seafood and vegetables and rice. With a bowl of mushroom miso and some snack food this is the place for date night, single night, or even a business dinner. This is the place.

What a find!!! This little gem in Gardena is amazing! The takoyaki, fried baby octopus and spicy edamame are out of this world. The fish is fresh and delicious. We cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menú.

Very good sushi, Chirashi and Tempura. The quality of the fish is almost the same as the quality you get from Tsukiji fish market in Japan. Very good service as well. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Keep up the great work.

First time dinning in a restaurant since restrictions got lifted and we felt it was a safe atmosphere. The staff was great, safe and kept it very sanitary for everyone. The food was really good, we enjoyed our sushi very much. We were too hungry that we forgot to take pictures of all our plates. We will def be going back.

Food was very mediocre, I normally go to the one in Glendale by la Americana. It was not a good comparison. Menu is reduced. The rice of the sushi is not the same preparation. My nephew order a side order of fried rice, it was more like Mexican rice with chicken. After going to the same chain near my home. I was very disappointed in the quality of sushi. 3 stars, I think is too much. Table was even uneven. It is sad to see poor standards among the same restaurants.

Food was good, waiters were attentive, but they forgot one of our orders completely. We asked twice, and the waiter said they are working on it. Strange because they brought the other 3 orders within 10 minutes of our sitting down. Finally, after the 3 of us had finished and the waiter came back and asked if he could get us anything else, our 4th guy pointed out he never got his order. The waiter went and found the original order page we filled out because he didn’t believe us. He apologized and offered to have it made then but the rest of us had already finished so we canceled it and asked for the bill.Question, how do you tip a place where the waiters are generally friendly, attentive and quick, but drop the ball on one of the orders? I guess if I were paying the bill, I would tip the boys for their good service but since the guy who paid tonight was the same guy whose order they forgot, maybe he reached a different decision.

Best sushi on the planet. Yes better than on Mars. Ok kidding but honestly the quality 10/10, taste 10/10 (i should give 11 out of 10) choices 10/10. Its amazing.One of my best frie ds found this ace and went after hiking saying is this amazing or just me. Oh its amazing!Im always here when in the area. I love this place I have gone twice already, food just taste good Im no sushi connoisseur but ived gotten California, Super caterpillar, Las Vegas, tempura, spicy dragon rolls all tasted good no complaints here. One thing though place is a bit small so you might be in for a wait.

Love the nigiri here. I usually get the salmon, tuna, mackerel, yellowtail, and fatty yellowtail. The rolls are also delicious. Service is exceptional. It can get busy on the weekend, but Ive never waited more than 15 minutes.

I called and receptionist and she said there was no wait. Got there in five minutes since we were down the street and there was a 1hr wait suddenly. The receptionist was so unrealistic and I felt she lied to us. Bad customer service. Be truthful, felt she was made to say no wait to gain business. No longer rockn. Best thing was the service. Seems like the servers work all the tables so there is always someone to flag down if needed. They were nice and and attentive.Con - the food. This place is for people who dont eat real sushi. Most of the rolls were just loaded with different ingredients so its just a mish mash in your mouth. The house rolls were meh. Got an octopus roll and the octopus was tough and super fishy. I get it, octopus is delicate and hard to cook perfectly sometimes but hello, this is supposed to be a sushi restaurant. Sesame chicken was over done, had to send it back and get a new one. I gave this place a 2nd chance (1st one I went to was in Covina) and honestly there are muuuch better sushi restaurants (in Torrance of all places!) to go to if you want authentic sushi.

I would leave 0 stars after tonight if I could. We checked in at 8:00 PM tonight and their male front desk employee said it would take 40-45 minutes for a table. Not a problem. We head back into our car and check back into the front desk at 8:30 for an update and the same front desk male employee mentions “oh your party is next.” We decided to head back into our car and wait until they called us with the table. It’s 9:00 PM and no call yet. Finally at 9:10 PM they call in and say “oh sorry it looks like we will no longer be able to accommodate you due to now limited items available”. HOW INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL to have customers wait an hour and 10 minutes and then shun them away despite us checking in with front desk employees not once but twice for any update.We spoke with the female manger who could care less despite us mentioning the time we waited, despite us mentioning how we checked in not once but twice and despite us asking what options they could do for us after we had just waited for an hour and 10 minutes outside their parking lot. Simply a “sorry there’s nothing I could do for you. Maybe a free appetizer on the house.” You’ve gotta be kidding me.Not only will I never ever come back here but we will ensure to let our friends and family in Gardena, Torrance, El Segundo and Redondo Beach to never stop at this location for the lack of professionalism and un carelessness I received tonight.I used to be a loyal customer to this business. It was my daughters birthday lunch with some of the family. There were 7of us, we were very comfortable seating wise, we didnt feel crowded at all for it being a smaller location. Hannah was our waitress with the help of Josh and Tess. They were all very courteous and knowledgeable of the menu. My Aunt us allergic to seafood so she wasnt able to enjoy the sushi, however she ordered the orange chicken, fried rice, and garlic green beans, they were all excellent. The size of the portions were big enough for all of us to have a good serving of each. All of the its we ordered were amazing, the jalapeño poppers, mussels, super dragon roll, salmon, albacore tuna, yellowtail sushi 🍣, and there was many more items that we ordered, I dont remember them all off hand, but everything was delicious. Topped off with a couple large saporros and some Sake made it even more enjoyable. I will definitely be back frequently.

Been here twice so far both of the times have been alright. Sushi quality is good, if not average and the variety of the rolls is acceptable. They have good lunch specials but I didnt take a picture of them sadly. Service here was kinda on the poor side last time I came with me having to clear my own plates and constantly ask for help.Update: wife and I come here still and service has improved significantly since last time we came. Fish quality is still suffering.

High expectations based on online reviews. Low experience. Toro was super fresh. Uni and Ikura not so much. The garlic albacore ponzu sauce and garlic clashed. I thought they would be harmonious but not so. The salmon and blue crab was good. I told the waiter the uni did not taste fresh and he said because I tasted it he couldn’t give a full refund. Whhhaaat!? How do you know unless you taste it? I’ve never been told that before. So my tip was low as I did not feel I should pay for the uni.

All i can say is yuck. I had the miso seafood soup that had no texture, no miso flavor and no seasoning. The mussels were old and too chewy to eat, the shrimp were little, freezer-burned and tasteless; must have been from Aldi clearance case. The Craw daddy was ok. What a disappointment being in a Japanese cultural neighborhood, I expected waaaaay better. By the way, there is nothing “crazy” or fun and the music volume was too low to hear. However I was forced to listen to the loud, Broey banter coming out of the indifferent and inattentive staff. YUCK!

The hostess or waitress was very rude. She refused to take our order when my husband walked in at 9:35. They are open until only 10pm now since Covid but we were in way before that & were taking it to go. I miss the days when restaurants were a service business. We have come here often & spend a considerable amount here & tip well. It’s sad that one employee with a bad attitude can lose a good long term customer. The food was good but so are many places in LA /Southbay this is not ok.

The service was acceptable but not great. There is a lot of seating so that was a sign about how good this place is compared to all other sushi restaurants near the area. This lively Korean-owned sushi bar is the best in the area. There are many unique rolls to choose from, along with an extensive and creative baked sushi roll selection for picky eaters. This is a good local spot for when you want sushi, but they also serve hot food like bowls and soups as well. It gets crowded when theres a sports game (there are two screens inside) and during later hours, but often I dont have to wait for a table. Service is fast and friendly, which is why I like to come here often. I recommend the hand rolls, which seem to be more loaded than the cut rolls.

I ordered Sashimi bowl because their menu shows this bowl includes Sashimi, vegetable and rice.But there are no rice, only Sashimi and vegetable. First time here with friends to check out the menu. Cool vibe inside, tables and booths, sports on the tv. Extensive menu, great prices on bento boxes and sushi rolls. Recommend the baked salmon roll and the honey walnut salmon roll. Enough to enjoy and share. There is a list to wait to be seated but the servers do great you with a smile. Alcohol sold as well. Definitely recommend this place for a great meal.

Great sushi at affordable prices! A buddy of mine suggested this place on a Sunday evening. Luckily, we beat a small rush of people so we didnt have to wait.
