Do not trust their pick up. My wife ordered 3 rolls for 3 persons. They packed only two sets of chopsticks and only one set of ginger and wasabi. Double check your order when you pick up from them. Although food always tastes good.

If your looking for a spot that has sushi which is top notch well this is your spot! The sushi here is really fresh my go to spot. The wait times arent that bad you get seated pretty quickly. I come here a lot in a month really love there food! The service can be okay not the perfect service but once we visit we normally have Richard assisting us and he provides great service and is always very attentive.Always get my sushi with soy paper always delicious!Highly recommend getting there 911, Lemon roll,Crispy Rice (my personal favorite), Baked salmon roll and my all time favorite roll the avocado roll. I have tried avocado rolls almost everywhere in La from top to bottom this place has the best avocado rolls! The atmosphere can get busy at some point but can be calm which feels nice! They have a location in West Hollywood but that one is not great.The best sushi spot in Glendale highly recommend visiting!

Checked out Crazy Rockn Sushi tonight. We had a big party. Bigger than their back room could handle, but they took us anyways. The staff was very courteous.The menu was extensive and had a variety of raw and cooked rolls. They also had some non sushi options. We had the sesame chicken, super crunch roll, crispy scallop roll, vegetable tempura roll, fried baby octopus, and some fried ice cream. All were excellent. The scallops were my favorite.I highly recommend.

There are so many sushi restaurants in Los Angeles, so this spot has a lot of competition! For Glendale, I think this is an excellent place to grab sushi and they have some really great combos with two or three items and then you can just order a couple of rolls on the side and you have a family style, great meal. Of course the sushi is not the best Ive ever had but its certainly pretty decent hence the four stars. Service was great, and very friendly with multiple people dropping by to check in on us.

Siblings night out! We had a blast at Crazy Rock’n Sushi. The food was fantastic, the ambience was on point and the company couldn’t be beat! The booths feel very seclusive, which is a big win for me! We ordered a little bit of everything potluck style, and enjoyed sharing among ourselves. I’m not big on sashimi, but the sushi was absolutely divine. It was so good, my wife went back with her girlfriends the very next day for lunch. We are excited to visit again next time we are back in town.

First time dining in after a few take outs. This place is calming and has a good vibe. Private booths as well as open tables and a sushi bar area make the place versatile to table options.The food was very tasty and made well. We started with spicy garlic edemame and baked green mussels.Then ordered 4 sushi rolls: dragon, cherry blossom, Cajun, shrimp tempura. All very tasty and plate presentation was great.Hot sake hit the spot with the sushiService was very attentive. Different people came to check on us but Joanne took care of us mainly. Her recommendation of the Cajun roll was right on and she was very professional and friendly.I will definitely return to this place and you should give them a try as you wont be disappointed.

I’m a regular customer kind of I go at least once a month.the best sushi place great quality always fresh. It is little bit pricey, but it’s worth it. The only issue is the server after taking the order and deliver it to you They don’t come and check on you to see if you need anything else .until they come and give you the check.

This place is rockin! Yes, I said it! Had me a dinner date here with the hubby ordered the 2 long islands ( very strong) I recommend. The had the 911, salmon roll, and tiger roll. Oh and some baked green mussels. My goodness! Is this place fire 🔥 or what! The staff was super nice and attentive. I knew we needed napkins and I didnt even look for a server when out of nowhere hes there! With extra napkins!! And since the tables are a bit small for 2, they were kind to remove empty dishes. At the right moment! I am pleased to say this place is a Must Have. We did have to wait about 20 min, it was busy but worth it. Also we got the bogo special which means we didnt have to pay for the salmon roll somehow. I love it! Any discount is a friend of mine !! Thanks sYd! Pizza party for everyone!

We go there very frequently because the booths are kid friendly. However the staff is not kid friendly or people friendly. Somehow they managed to get people who hate their job to greet customers.The food is very mediocre, we come because it’s well priced.The star of the show is the spicy tuna on crispy rice, that is delicious.We ordered the shrimp noodles (disgusting), the veggie udon not bad, moon roll not bad, fantasy roll not bad, shrimp fried rice meh.One last thing, please wipe the menus. Half of the time it’s greasy with oil and rice.

Best sushi place in Glendale. We been coming here since they opened in Glendale and they never dissapointed. I love their Buy one get One 50% off on specialty rolls. My favorite this time was chefs special salmon blue crab (real one not imitation) with truffle sauce. And of course my favorite salmon philly roll that has all my fav things avocado philly cheese cucumber and wrapped in nice trick salmon! Less rice more fish. Yumm

The most unique thing about this place is that they serve their rolls in bowls. The sushi was good but nothing spectacular. The popcorn shrimp was slightly undercooked. It wasnt raw or anything, just would have been better a little longer in the fryer. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

One of the best Sushi places around LA. Im coming from Walnut Creek, CA and I find this place very inviting with a modern Japan atmosphere so if you have been to Japan before, you will see similar sights inside the restaurant. Prices are just as expected and not too pricey. Overall, I would definitely be coming here sometime in the future again.

This place is legit. Dont let the name deter you. The sashimi is so fresh and our servers were able to split our partys checks despite us constantly adding on to our orders throughout the night 😅Parking can be a hassle in this area, but we parked in a public lot behind the restaurant that was $1.50 per hour.

It was my first time here.I ordered salmon sushi (2pc). Im not sure what l was paying for? Pieces of salmon as well as the rice was so small. It wasnt enjoyable at all.Spicy chicken was a joke. All l could see was full of cooked shredded carrots and small amount of chicken. My son had to dig out that mountain of carrots to look for any piece of chicken. Ive never seen my son leaving food like that.I also ordered baked muscles. The worst baked muscles l ever tasted. I saw some of the pictures from the reviews which looked nice, but my muscles were fully baked. Probably the chefs that time werent greay ones since my husband has been there before and he had a better experience.Group of 6 (2 adults and 4 young children) for lunch. We were charged for gratuity (about $30). Probably it was written in the menu but all poctures and writings were small that we struggled to even read the menu so l didnt see the notification. The male waiters were very friendly so l wouldve left a good tip any way but l didnt appreciate to be forced to pay gratuity fee since it wasnt like we had 6 adults. I personally wouldnt go back there again.

I rated this place 3 stars because of multiple reasons: 1) overpriced for the size. Rolls are pretty small. 2) dragon roll was nice . Super Philly roll wouldve been good if not the very salty cream cheese that kills the flavor. 3) some rolls were falling apart. I ordered sushi here, i wrote a special instruction: 2 rolls without cream cheese (I am allergic) when I opened delivery, all sushi were with cream cheese. They also didn’t put soy sauce, and instead of it put a barbecue sauce (which I also don’t eat) I immediately wrote in the dordash, they told me that they will answer you. 24 hours have passed, and no one even apologized. Sigh....I had really high hopes about this place when they opened up. My husband and I have been here three times (you know, really trying to give them a chance), but 3 strikes and they are out for me.The sushi is ok, a little inconsistent at times, but the service is horrible! Everytime we have come, we have basically been forgotten about by the servers. Not sure if it is a problem of being understaffed or what...but all 3 times we have had to chase down our servers (for drinks, food, the bill, EVERYTHING). And all 3 times, the place isnt busy????? So again, not sure why this happens?It also looks like they are changing the whole interior again. I just think the CRS location has not gotten its footing. Heres to hoping things look up.

I had a nice time, staff was nice, I had the bento box with 4 piece sushi and the quality of rice was subpar. The sushi itself was small and the sashimi was too thin for having to pay extra for it. Also got the muscles and for some reason a big wedge of tomato was on there? Just a weird garnish. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

My Family is really familiar with the Great Azusa restaurant and really glad that the Glendale location didnt disappoint. Really generous and creative rolls always super fresh. Half off every other roll is nice. Cool decor inside. Busy Friday night but the rolls came quick. Cant knock them for our drinks not being refilled in a timely manner as all restaurants are dealing with an employee shortage but they are all working hard and doing their best. So finally a great sushi place in Glendale!

The girl who helped us was very sweet and helpful.The sushis, sashimis and rolls were super fresh and tasty. The only dish we did not like was the poke bawl, it tasted off and was not correctly combined.The staff was not greedy and humbly showed us the tip options, and we of course chose the highest possible option.Def will be back.Thanks

We actually love this place. The food is consistently better than most other places. The reason for the decrease in stars :For a full service bar no one knows how to make a drink. My husband wasn’t feeling beer or sake and wanted a dirty martini. The first one they put in TRIPLE SEC —- WHAT? The second one she put in one shot and topped the rest with olive juice. It was undrinkable. We were sitting at the bar waiting for a table so we knew exactly what was going on…Do yourself a favor and don’t bother with the fancy drinks!

Sushi rolls are what their menu is heavily weighted in with variations that can choke you. The quality is average and masked well with sauces. This is perfect if your palette is not strictly for the taste of raw seafood.Pricing is on the premium side for a complete meal. Do expect to separate yourself from a good amount of money.What is most disappointing is their false advertising. Their server denied their specials for drinks even though we showed him their own website. He offered no explanation other than we dont do that anymore.Their Bento Boxes are not even served in an actual Bento Box. Our items came out in small trails sitting on a cafeteria-like tray. How difficult is it for a Japanese Sushi restaurant to use an actual Bento Box? Is the restaurant supply store too far? Was it too difficult to order them online? The food court in the mall even uses an actual Bento Box for their Bento Box meals.With adequate service from most of our experience and a quality-to-value ratio on the low side, there are far better alternatives in this city. This restaurant space has seen many turnovers in the past 10 years. I am guessing the name placard will change soon too.

I find reasons to go to Glendale just so I can eat from this particular store my favorite is Captain America that is eel and avocado on the outside shrimp tempura threaded right through the rol, it has tempura shavings on the top and eel sauce on the outside avocado and crab on the inside totally an amazing dish beautiful to look at, ooh how could I forget the spicy tuna on the inside too crazy right? Aparently, my wife had taken a sip of my soda, so when I asked for a refill, the sever said she would need to charge me for another. I hadnt noticed if she did or didnt, but apparently the server spies on the customers. Weve spent thousands of dollars here over the years, including large parties 🥳. These guys survived the pandemic because of us ordering over the phone. Now that they are stable theyre nothing but JERKS. They dont answer the phone for orders, they dont take walking orders if theyre almost closing, they stop accepting dining in on waiting list an hour before closing. Simply JERKS. This is a regular go-to for us. The food is consistently good, but the service is spotty at times. Not bad really, just sometimes slow. We park in the structure off California instead of trying to find parking on Brand. They have a wide assortment of rolls and good Nigiri sushi. Several of their hot dishes are good as well. We liked the Lemon roll especially, and for hot dishes, the dinner Bulgagi bowl is really quite good. The Bento boxes are fun and come with a good quantity of food. They have some great lunch specials, and with COVID abating, they draq a decent crows from the surrounding office buildings. Our most common time to go is dinner.. Strolls up and down the busy Brand shopping area are great to help you work off your meal.

To the San or Saki Restaurant Group Inc (Owners of Akuma) Management: I called to place a lunch order for my work group to-go. Chris who answered the phone placed me on hold four times, pressed the redial button twice while talking to me and was difficult to understand due to his lisp. He repeated the order to me wrong three times because I had asked things to be separated by name of person making it easier to pass out when I returned to the office (7 people total; not that hard). When I arrived to pick up the order the restaurant was not busy for a Wednesday, in Glendale, in the heart of the business district, during lunch hours (which is strange) and then I figured out why... I watched three sets of customers walk in with no one to great them, wait, then turn and walk out... after my order arrived they had not separated things properly and did not properly place the name of the item on the Styrofoam (who still uses Styrofoam???) box. I tipped $10 for take-out on the $138.00 bill and left. When I got back to the office I realized that they had left out the Hogwarts Roll or at least I thought so because nothing was separated or named properly... The Hogwarts roll was the only thing my boss had ordered so I called and talked to another guy who said they could remake it and I would run back in my car and pick it up. When I arrived back this lady who I guess was the manager (which was a shocker to me because she dressed and looked like a dishwasher and did nothing but socialize with staff who should be tending to customers when I first went in) proceeded to argue with me about the fact that she was sure she put it in the initial order because she packed the order (which later I found out she actually did, but because she didnt label the order properly or pack it right it created confusion). Anyhow... I will never go to your restaurant again and I would not be shocked if in the next year you guys dont go out of business, and if you dont heres something to consider... I watched three groups of two walk from your door for not getting greeted in time. Now if they spent only $50 dollars each and that happened every day and you pissed off only one customer like me every day 3 x $50 + $138.00 x 365 days = $105120.00 in lost business.
