We had the specialty sushi rolls for lunch. They are buy one get one 50% off. They were all great and very fresh. The server came right away to get our drink orders and then to take our order. We haven’t been here in awhile and we loved the new remodel inside.

Do not recommend to order delivery the food quality goes down. The edamame was supposed to be cooked without chili and covered in garlic and salt. But instead garlic is raw and looks to have been cooked separately. No flavor at all and everything looks undercooked. Will definitely go to the Covina location instead. Worth the drive.

This place was delicious. The service was very accommodating, checking in regularly. The atmosphere was beautiful but I do have to say it does not have a rocking or crazy vibe to it at all. It makes me wonder why the name Crazy Rock n Sushi. However! Its a great place to go so please go, experience it in person!

Service was excellent! Our server was Juan, his customer service is above & beyond. Always with a smile, Juan was able to recommend some very tasty rolls, explain the specials to us and got our bellies full! He even brought out a humongous tempura ice cream for my sisters birthday, it was enough to feed all four of us.The whole staff was friendly. Rolls were unique, there is a lot of variety and prices are good. I would say the eel sauce is a bit too sweet, I guess every roll we picked had it on there so I got tired of it quickly. Next time I will mix it up.Their miso soup is the best I’ve had at a restaurant. It tastes like it was made with love. Edamame was very good too.Can’t wait to go back and try more of their creations, it was a great experience!

This is the first time I sat down at this location. I usually take the sushi to go since it always full of hungry patrons. Thats how good this sushi is. I have sample a few items and all are delicious. Clams, tempura, and all rolls are priced to sell. Bento Boxes can be built to your delight. Soft shell crabs are my favorite. They also have 4 pieces samplers and mix it up as you please. Great place for family, and friends to enjoy a great meal and it will not break the bank.

Went there and lazy girl at the cashier said all tables wr taken (restaurant was full of empty tables) after telling us we had 15 minutes to order cause it was close to 9pm. Would’ve been easier to say we don’t want to get more people in because we closed at 10pm, is not like we arrived there 10-15 minutes before closing .

We have been going here for a few years now and the service has almost always lacking but this last Friday night was horrible. First we were placed at a table in the front are that was very warm and uncomfortable. After 5 mins of being seated I had to ask for menus and a highchair we asked for when we first got there. I was handed them with attitude. Then another 5 mins and I had to ask if we could get something to drink because it was hot. The server even admitted to the room not being well ventilated. The food wasnt even made the same as every other time weve been and I had to ask for it to be corrected. The whole time I had to ask multiple times to get forks, soy sauce, ginger and Wasabi. The whole experience was lacking. Then when we went to pay we were informed the tip was already included and at 18% which service didnt even get close to deserving that tip. We use to deal with the not so great service but after this we will not be returning.

Came around 2pm on a Saturday, wait time to be sat down was about 15min. The ambience is nice and music selection is great. The service is very lacking the waiters completely forget about you so make sure to order two drinks at a time because they won’t come by to refill your drink at any time. The food is honestly just okay.. I ordered 6 rolls and none of them stood out to me in terms of flavor.Honest review: go somewhere else because this place isn’t it. I decided to give this place a try with a friend after trying one of their other locations a while back in Hollywood. We got there when doors opened at 11:30 AM, and was offered to dine in, but their patio was not open, so we ended up having to order to go since we did not feel safe to eat indoors. They said that they didn’t have enough staff to open the patio, which is understandable, but I thought that during this pandemic that they would end up seating people outside first before inside. We did attempt to take a seat, but I still personally didn’t feel safe enough to eat inside. I believe overall the food is decent, but the person who was helping us take our order, just didn’t really seem to really care. It was like well you order if you want, if not I’m going to do my own thing. Even when our order was ready, the person knew we were waiting outside, but no one came out to let us know our order was ready. This was my first experience at this place, but it makes me not want to visit again.FoodThe food was decent though. The salmon sashimi we ordered tasted fresh, the rolls were decent, I have just one thing to say about the sauce. Those things are HARD to open. It is the sweet sauce you put on your rolls, along with the spicy mayo. All of the small packets we had, it was impossible to open. Note that you must also ask for Wasabi. Also the Alaskan, and Dragon roll, just to note has a LOT of rice.Overall it was just a mediocre experience for me personally. I would have definitely gave it at least 4 stars if not for my ordering experience.If you do come, just remember that they do have a Happy Hour that is BOGO 50% off, which I had to search myself. Their Togo chopsticks are pretty good quality, far better then other restaurants I’ve been to, but that alone will not get me to come back. I hope others will have a better experience.

Sushi rolls have declined in taste tremendously and Jennifer ther server was horrible. We used to love this spot. We attempted last two times n were so disappointed. We thought ok one more time. Jennifer seemed clueless. Stood at front of table n wouldnt say a word until we noticed her. She didnt offer another drink. Didnt ask how we were doing. We ended up leaving sushi behind and a zero tip. Never done that before. We will never go back.

Lots of people seem to come here, it was around lunch time 1 pm to be exact. the sushi taste was ok it wasnt that fresh like sushi loco, once you eat something of quality your expectations of taste and service change. Personal opinion i didnt like the place. I think it needs remodeling. The price was cheap, but the taste wasnt fresh. Good customer service. I gave it 4 because of the customer service, we ordered 3 rolls and they forgot 1 roll untill we asked for it.

Im from Japan and I love sushi. And I think this restaurant is the best. Sushi is great and also I loved their customer service. My baby was fussy and he was crying, so I asked to change our table. They did it immediately. They brought all our staff and food for us. Always making sure us if everything was ok. Oh also, they said thank you for coming on a rainy day. They gave us warm miso soup and edamame. Im very picky about food and hospitality. And I go there if I wanna eat sushi. Thank you! You guys made us so happy:)

Fresh fish at a reasonable cost. I enjoyed the fast service and free edamame sampler while I waited for my sushi. Stopped in while visiting for a work trip and left satisfied. The nigiri prices were fair, about $4-5 for 2 pieces, and came topped with a little garnish which was a nice touch. Good spot for a quick light lunch. I had the tuna, salmon, yellowtail belly and albacore.

Waited around 30 minutes standing in front of the counter. While other phone orders were getting picked up. Now if is so busy and backed up in the kitchen why do they keep sitting large parties so it can get more backed up and short staff?.. This place was great. The interior is pretty cool, reminds me of a small street in Tokyo. The food was awesome. This is our #1 go-to sushi place for this area!My wife and I had our one year old, and they were SO accommodating to us. They sat us at a table in a corner and made sure we had all the space we needed for our son. They made us feel at home, even though we had a fussy baby. This was huge for us because as new parents we just needed to get out for some time, and they didnt make us feel bad about it.

Let me start by saying I really like this place. I like the food choices they offer, and every single time we go the food just tastes really good in my opinion.However, weve noticed that whenever we go during happy hour, the rolls are noticeable smaller. We get at least 3 of the same rolls each time we go, so we kinda notice the difference by now. The size at happy hour isnt bad, but it feels a little shady when you think you get a discount but get less food too.What bothered us the most was how the waiter had already put the tip for us, with the machine ready to just pay. My husband read everything and wanted to change the tip because it seemed off. Later we realised that the set percentages were way off. The 12% on a $48 bill was set to just over $12 which is actually more like 25 percent! Not sure if this was a mistake or purposely done. We also didnt receive a receipt which afterwards felt strange since we usually do. Not saying that they dont deserve the tip, but already choosing the tip thats also set to a wrong amount is just not right if it was done on purpose.Please read the machine before you pay, to make sure everything is entered correctly!

The baked salmon roll was really cold in the center... and I have ordered it multiple times, it happens every time. Once I asked them to bake it a little longer for the same reason and they burned the salmon. But other cold rolls are good. The gold crunch is a really good one.

The last time I was there (April 2022) I saw our waiter for a total of two minutes; 1.5 minutes to take our order and 0.5 minutes to bring our bill. No service to speak of. Fish freshness is hit-or-miss. I do like that they have no-rice sushi rolls.

Went here hoping to have a great meal was gonna do take out but decided to do dine in as i sat at my table i was greeted and asked if i wanted anything to drink and was given a sheet of paper for me to choose my options to which i did ... Which were a california roll, gyoza, and beef bowl to where the server came and picked up my sheet the california roll came fast but never received my other food to which i was wondering what was going on never got asked if everything was okay once then I had enough and said ill just pay for my coke and california roll and noticed on my tab that the server never put in the other food which i was eagerly awaiting to eating but unfortunately did not happen . i mean you work there you should know there are two sides to your order sheet would not have hurt to skim and see what i marked paid only 10 bucks for my food with no tip but would have really wanted my food to have been ordered properly completely lost my appetite hopefully next time around its better.

Very decent sushi spot in LA Puente. The Toro was on point. The salmon belly divine and the sweet shrimp tasty and fresh. I was sad they had run out of uni but the service was good and the food was well above average. Is it the best sushi? No but the price point makes me want to come back and the miso soup was good.

It does tend to get busy for dinner, obviously. But even then, I got seated within 5 minutes. Will definitely eat here again!

Other workers kept walking by asking if we were ready to order and we kept saying no give us more time like we were occupying a table that they were waiting to be seated by another party. they were empty so it wasnt that. Best Rockn sushi spot. The one in Gardena doesnt even compare to this location. Friendly staff as well. It was clean and has a much more authentic feel to it than the other Rockn sushi locations. Service was not good. I waited a while for my drinks and my food. When I got the food it wasn’t that great either. The only thing I enjoyed was the edemame and the miso soup they give you for free. I had to wave down the servers several times for help and the check. Service wasn’t too friendly. If the service was better then maybe the food would actually taste better. Been craving for Japanese food. Went there tonight. The menu has changed and some of my favorites are no longer on it.Server took order. Never saw the server again.I had the bento box. I had the 3 item. Beef teriyaki, California rolls and fried oysters. The rice was very dry. My beef was overcooked and dry. The oysters (2 only) were overly fried and burnt to a crisp. I truly did not like my meal.I had to ask the manager for the bill. The server never even asked if every thing was great. I dont think I will be going there again.
