Crazy Sushi in Rocklin

Came in for dinner and we ordered tonkatsu bowl, seafood udon and the Lion King roll. All three were just ok, at least we gave it a try!

Food was great as always. They have many lower priced rolls as well as the special ones. Good value here. All of this was about $60. Service is very quick too.

I will say that the best part of the experience here is the price. The rolls are significantly cheaper than other sushi restaurants in the region. The rolls are smaller in circumference however than those more expensive rolls. The plus is you can have more variety for your cost.The restaurant decor seems fun, if you like the darker look.The teriyaki chicken was great and not too sweet. The chicken was tender and not rubbery. Bento box we ordered was well done.Staff is very friendly and was attentive to our needs.The menu’s roll items seemed like a lot of variations of the same ingredients. That isn’t bad, it just is what it is.Parking here is horrible. All the businesses have to share a tiny lot.The restaurant could use a deep cleaning in the dining area. I am giving the benefit of the doubt to the restaurant as it is really hard to hire staff and stay profitable right now.Prawns need to be cleaned and deveined before tempura flakes and frying.Overall I have been here a few times over the last couple years, and may be back.

We have been coming to this place for over 2 year. Restaurant located in the Rocklin Ca. Good location, decoration is nice but much dust on vents overhead. Sushi is delicious but they used to make the rolls much bigger it seems that each time rolls are getting smaller and smaller. Last time we order three orders this time we had to place 5 orders because portions were so small.

This place is great. The staff are friendly, they are detailed with orders, they follow up throughout even when its packed. And the food is great quality. Rolls are perfect size and made by pros. The edamame is delicious. The tempura is cooked in fresh oil. Overall, this place is the favorite sushi place for my wife and I, and we are little picky. Definitely recommend.

Some food came out before the appetizers. Tempura Shrimp and Vegetables had one Shrimp.Fish was tuff and older. Baked Muscles were kinda burnt.They had the most disgusting bathroom Ive ever seen in a restaurant. Probably better off using a gas station bathroom. They clearly hadnt cleaned it in weeks, if not longer.

So this was the second time that my order was incomplete. For the second time the sushi was missing out of the bento box. And before you say the dasher ate it let me tell you that the spot in the box where the sushi goes had only a piece of clean wax paper down which means the sushi never made it in the box. Oh and my salad that supposed to have shrimp in it was … shrimp-less...So I think it’s time to go somewhere else. Food overall is ok.

Sushi was delicious! Loved the one with crab, cream cheese and avocado(?) it was deep fried and SUPER delish!The only reason I rated this 4 stars was because of the decor. Our table was rocky and all the chairs were tattered and uncomfortable.All regular rolls are half off every day, great! But that is just the normal regular price for some of them but visiting from NY, felt I got more for my money here.

Its always a joy to come here! The location is pretty both indoors and outdoors. The rolls are sooooo good! We had The hot ex wife, Johnny roll and lion king roll. If you love sushi, youll love it here! The only thing missing is a bar . The rolls are 50% off (we went during lunch)

I really enjoy the food here. The staff are always prompt, orders taken quickly at lunch, and they have good turnaround on food. The sushi is good. The sashimi is cut a bit think for my liking, but it was good none the less. It is in an easy to access location with plenty of parking, unless a movie is playing.
