This bakery is a hidden gem. My new favorite bakery and coffee shop! The staff are incredibly helpful and nice. The food is beyond delicious, and I have still yet to try the lox bagel and avocado toast!

A taste explosion! We’ve eaten here a few times - always yummy. Have had the salmon toast a few times, best I’ve had anywhere. This last time it had fennel seeds which cranked it up a notch. Nice outdoor patio, attentive friendly staff and great baked goods. We always grab a loaf off their excellent levain to take home, hard to find decent fresh bread in the North Bay, so grab one!

Why can there be more such places ? I have been coming to this place for a few years now, maybe 10. Food is always delicious, and so are the pastries. Its just a bit expensive, but what isnt these days. Its always a treat to have breakfast or lunch here.

Creekside is my go to spot for treats of all kinds. The avocado toast is divine but all of the food is really fresh and lovingly prepared. The pastries are reliably delicious and the cakes are amazing for special occasions. The coffee bar is a high caliber operation where you can get real cappuccinos (a tough find in northern marin). The staff is so kind and friendly.

Hair found in a friends sandwich, also hair in cookies. M0y blt sandwich had wilted slimy lettuce, hard bacon not crispy that tasted like it was microwaved. The salad greens was good as well as the raspberry pillows which were delicious. We ate outside and it was a beautiful day.

My daughter took me to the Creekside Bakery for breakfast. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon - OMG! Fabulous!!!! Also ordered the pistachio lemon croissant - also fabulous! (I had them warm it up before they brought it out). Needless to say, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Could have easily shared... Highly recommend. Staff was super friendly too!

I highly recommended to have avocado toast. It’s best so far. The service was amazing. They serve fresh juices and I recommend to have orange juice. Genuinely, we enjoyed our breakfast. I would definitely come back to have it.Thank you to staff and chef.

I cannot say enough good things about Creekside Bakery. I moved to Novato during the beginning of the pandemic and was in need of a cozy, warm and delicious new breakfast spot. This has quickly become my all-time favorite place to meet with girl friends or grab a quick bite (and take home a big box of pastries for my husband) to eat. With any good bakery, make sure you arrive early to have a wider range to choose from; my personal choices are the savory goods: quiche, tarte, croissant. Their food menu does not disappoint either, so far I’ve had the mushroom melt which tasted out of this world delicious.The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, special shout out to Alejandro on bar creating amazingly refreshing beverages in the summer and steamy, cozy lattes in the winter— also for preparing and providing ceremony grade matcha. They also carry Fentimans and Silk Road Teas.Outdoor seating is plentiful and spacious with comfortable picnic style benches with umbrellas for each table and dogs are welcome too (for outdoor seating, of course). This bakery is a hidden gem. Everything I’ve had there was delicious. My favorite by far is the avocado toast. It was ridiculously good. I believe it was on homemade bread with sautéed shallots and topped with arugula. Must try!

For few years I’ve been looking for a local bakery, never tried this one before. They know what they do. If you did not try this place before, I recommend you do it asap. I also got a Levain bread, if you try it, it will be the last time you get a loaf of bread somewhere else.

Quite simply the best bakery ever. Wonderful, friendly service. Excellent toasts -- cant wait for the return of the heirloom tomato toast, but the salmon is also good. We get our birthday cakes there and stop in often for cappuccino. Creekside Bakery is an oasis where I rejuvenate.

Incredibly lovely staff. You can really tell how much the store cares about its employees; the bedrooms are luxurious to say the least. Also crazy how the staff that don’t sleep on-site show up to work every morning through the circle window that turns into a portal. Almost as magical as the food.

The staff are so lovely, the lattes are on point, and the avocado toast is delicious. My boyfriend, who is from Novato, says the place has had a revival and is much more lively than it used to be. Creekside has become one of my favorite spots in town. And theyre dog friendly.

My mother and I come from Rohnert Park next to Santa Rosa just to have lunch and pick up many tasty treats! Best bakery Ive ever been to. We love Creekside Bakery! It is so cute inside It kinda looks like a little log cabin. The floral shop next door adds to the vibe. Alternative looking young crew which is different from the typical vanilla Novato citizen. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich with bacon. I was pleased with my biscuits and gravy. They put herbs on the gravy. We came back a second time and tried the Princess Cake and it was 10/10. The savory waffle was like a cheese waffle and the creme burlee french toast was very sweet. We did a 6 slice side order of maple house bacon and to us it was the star of the show. Both times we got really full. The bakery part looked pretty too. Price was $40 for 2 meals no dessert no drinks or $51 for 2 meals, side of bacon and one dessert.

Hands down the best food in the north bay. Chef Dan is so inventive with the menu. He gets all the produce and flours and stuff from local farmers. Everything is local, organic & fresh. The pastry chef and baker Cindy is so talented. I love everything on the menu, but some of my favorites are the sourdough waffles & granola/yogurt for brunch, a classic croissant with tea, little gem salad, veggie sandwich & avocado toast. All cookies and cakes = delicious! Green triangles, Swedish dream cookie, chocolate sandwich cookie, sprinkle cookie! (My mouth is watering as I type). Spot is situated right next to the creek with a gorgeous view of old oak trees. It has a cozy feel and the place is always spotless. I love it there. Whether you’re grabbing lunch with friends or wanting alone time with a book and a cup of coffee & pastry- it’s the perfect place.

I gotta say I really wanted to love this place. The food is delicious. I felt uneasy being there because there was someone in the kitchen with their mask pulled under their chin throughout our wait for our food. The young lady at the register would also pull her mask down regularly and there was an older gentleman (customer) inside completely without a mask.Ill go back after the pandemic.

Mix view of the place, some loves and some let downs. I would go back for the coffee and ambiance. Coffee delicious and interior is incredible, love the big round window and the decor as well as the openess and the fact that I can actually see the kitchen staff. Loved the quality of the ingredients. The breakfast sandwich was tasty. The let downs: the quiche, chocolate cookie, and the danish even though they were delicious to taste they were all undercooked half doughy. The cannoli creamy filling had broke or was froken because it had separated.

I will not patronize this establishment as long as Steve Jordan owns it. The food is ok, but between the attitude as seen from quotes in the press and the Yelp review by a Jeanie H. where a custom cake with allergen caused a trip to the ER for her son, (the business is claimed on Yelp and they have NOT bothered to respond) I think this is enough information to give a fairly complete picture of the character of this person. I trust the employees will do alright if they have to find another job so as far as Im concerned its all about NOT supporting the owner with my money.

Im sure it is a fine establishment with great food. But I was picking up a meal for the misses, and some gentlemen was eating soup in the back food prep area, talking with food in his mouth, and apparently unaware of what was around him and what germs and particles can come out of your mouth when youre eating. When commenting to staff I was informed he was an owner. He should know better than this, and should know his actions were unacceptable. He should take some food safety classes and inform his staff they should not follow his example. Its gross and should not be done.

The Creekside Bakery near Novatos historic downtown has always been my favorite place to eat on the West Coast. I have never been able to find another establishment that is as gourmet and friendly. The service is always impeccable, and I cant emphasize how tasty every single item Ive ever tried has been. Soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries (obviously), quiches: its all superb. They relatively recently revamped the menu- and somehow it got even better!Considering the outstanding quality and care that goes into every item on the menu, Creekside is extremely well-priced as well.Youve just got to check out this Novato treasure!

Nothing here is ever short of perfect. The staff is unfailingly friendly and will go out of their way to make you happy. Beyond the breads, cakes and pies they have amazing soups that are different every day and salads and sandwiches as well. If anyone thinks they are expensive well, sorry, but in this instance you definitely get what you pay for and more. An added plus is that it is right across the little footbridge from the Novato Library.

I received a Buche de Noel as a gift on December 22d that a family member purchased at Creekside Bakery. Best Christmas Cake I had in a long long time!!! Perfect taste, perfect look! light, fluffy, fresh and decorated with art and good taste. Reminded me of every Christmas of my youth in Frane. I even have to admit that the Creekside Bakery buche was way lighter, with way less sugar than those of my memories and even though it was far healthier, the taste was perfect and the look as well, fun, creative and still classical. I am going to stop by for new year, and treat my gourmet friends there all year around.No need to say that I highly recommend you to go try it. Yesterday I ordered Streusel for an early morning pick up to celebrate a German friends birthday.The service person was very polite, professional and offered suggestions for my order. My order was ready when I arrived at 8am and I was on my way with 2 fresh baked pastries within a minute. The streusel was delicious!!! And, the birthday boy loved it!! I went into the bakery today and bought a dozen cookies. Six chocolate chip and six sprinkle cookies. I went to pay and the employee said the cost is $16.00. I said no way a dozen cookies can cost that much. She idiot even respond. Due to the kine of four people behind me I reluctantly paid it. When I got back to the office, the cookies were cold like they had been frozen. I was so angry, I threw them all out. I will NEVER set foot in there again. There are so many real bakeries in the area where a dozen cookies run $5.00 a pound.

We’re from out of town and we’re looking for a breakfast spot. We were pleasantly surprised by the creeks side bakery. It has been difficult finding nice eateries in this area (an over abundance of fast food establishments though). It’s clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the corn beef hash and the breakfast burrito which were generous portions and delicious. I loved the coffee latte (sooo creamy!). I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good food and friendly service.
