2023-02-19 23:42:26Very nice surprise. We recently tried Cumin after already enjoying two Indian/Nepalese restaurants nearby. The tastes here were wonderfully different from what weve had elsewhere. Service was good and parking was plentiful. We will return. Its only a couple of miles from home.

2023-08-21 04:24:48Truly a hidden Gem indeed!! ♡ Banod, one of the owners and an amazing server is highly knowledgeable, very kind, and fun to converse with:) The food is impeccable ♡ Tasteful, they hit the spice perfectly and they cater to the Vegans ! Woot woot ! Great big menu with food for all the foodies to eat. Definitely a place to try over and over again :) my new favorite spot in town! Great place for a date with yourself and your loved ones ♡Favorite appetizer is the veggie memo, the Lentil soup. Favorite dish is the veggie curry, or lentil dish with garlic naan and rice ♡Thank you for being here ♡

2023-01-01 23:51:56The food was proper Indian style and incredibly tasty. We were a group of 5 friends and we ordered a lot of food as we were very hungry. The service was swift and cordial. We also ordered gulab jamun and rice pudding for desserts. No where in California I have eaten proper authentic North India desserts like this.10/10 Recommend.

2023-12-06 02:55:01First time for me to have food from Cumin. It was my sons request as he has enjoyed it with his girlfriend multiple times. He had the Butter Chicken with garlic naan and I had the Chicken Saag with spinach naan. The flavors and textures of everything were just lovely. I had never tried spinach naan but it may have actually been my favorite part of the meal! It was freaking delicious, ha!

2023-11-17 07:45:12We landed in SFO at 7.30 and post picking up rental, we called up Cumin at 9 PM...ordered food on call and picked up at 9.59 PM. They close at 10 :-). Felt great that they were waiting for us with ready hot food. We picked it up and post checking at our hotel...enjoyed the same. The food was delicious and had the right taste expected of Butter Chicken and Goat Kadhai. I would surely recommend this place for Indian food.

2022-07-03 20:33:26Was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. My food was take out. I ordered the chicken tikka masala “burrito” ($10.99) and vegetable korma ($15.99 )(specified medium).before I even received my order they added an additional item to my order and charged me $8 extra. The “burrito” was just 4 pieces of chicken in a gigantic naan taco. It was so soggy that I could not eat it with my hands. It was very flavorless. I tasted the cucumber and lettuce more than the sauce. The vegetable korma had an ok flavor, but I ordered medium and there wasn’t any heat at all going on and the veggies were mushy. You could tell canned greened beans were used. I suggest a little bit of rice in the chicken tikka masala naan TACO to soak up all the flavorless sauce so you can manage it with your hands and not have it immediately disintegrate in your hands. Ask for spicy too for everything. It feels like they’re trying to water down what should be flavorful food. I can’t believe what they charge for such low quality food.

2022-05-07 22:10:50This place is in a strip mall with not many other businesses open in the evening so plenty of parking. They have ample space for indoor dining plus a patio with 4 tables for outdoor dining. We started with the mango lassi which is one of the best lassis I have ever had - not watered down like at other places. We started with the samosas (potato & peas fried fritters), then continued onto the saag paneer (greens with farmers cheese), aloo jeera (potato with cumin seeds), chicken tikka (chicken marinated in yogurt and spices), butter chicken (marinated chicken cooked in a butter tomato sauce) and naan (flatbreads). Everything was delicious but note that they do not include rice with the curry/saucy dishes. Shout out to Shriya, our server, who was friendly, attentive, and entertaining!
