2023-07-25 18:14:24My favorite big love Library with my baby! There are many story times here, and there is a pretty good aqua tank at the entrance of the library. Kids love modular toys and board books in the childrens area. I am grateful to be able to feel the expressions and laughter of the children who performed their activities here. The second floor of the library has a foreign language book area. In my case, I also borrow books in Korean from this place. Most of all, my baby is every time having fun alone here without my touch! Great for interacting with new sweet friends. So, I am coming every week. The owner of the library cafe is kind and the ice cream is delicious.A place to learn about the world!

2022-07-31 04:41:01Libraries are awesome. So many free and helpful resources beyond the wonderful gift of books and reading like free borrowing of material, computer use, community events and activities, learning programs, etc. This is one we checked out while around the area a while ago in the fall. There is a nice open front area in a quiet neighborhood area with a good selection of material including local history, a unique aquarium in the front and interactive details and signs. When we visited there was also a garden that was closed and renovations in progress to expand the area. Some areas are a bit dated and had a slight odor, but taking into consideration its a public space as well.

2023-10-21 22:00:18Best public library ever! Friendly staff talks me through library structure and layouts, quiet places with water, bathrooms, plenty computers for kids, catalog lookups, plenty sofa and tables for studies or readings provides convenient, comfortable, peaceful, focused environment to work, study, read, and nap. Park is free, book return is smart and easy.

2022-03-13 03:55:06It is next to Cupertino city hall and community center. There are multiple restaurants and coffee shops nearby so it is very convenient.Parking on Saturday was not a problem. It is also open 7 days a week. The view from second floor is spectacular and you can see the courtyard, city hall, community center, etc through the windows.

2017-10-28 21:50:13A really fabulous library in everyway you can imagine, with an amazing, helpful staff. Books, magazines, CDs, DVDs, eboks, and tons of computers. Fast free WiFi. Dont miss the giant fish tank. There are separate areas for kids, teens, parents, tutors, with many quite zones. If you are the type that gives three stars to an exceptional library because of parking, or because kids are noisy in the area dedicated to them... Consider staying away. 🙂

2023-07-18 01:54:14Dont expect to come to a quiet library to get work done. Kids and teens are super loud, even with headphones on. When I asked a staff member if they are allowed to chat and be loud, she looked at me as if Id just spoken a foreign language. Simple question, is this is a library? If so, one can expects people to maintain library etiquette with the noise level to a minimum.

2023-06-18 00:35:39I like this library a lot and bring my kids to it almost every week. However, I had a rather unpleasant encounter with a highly unfriendly librarian today. While browsing through the childrens section, I came across several read-with-me bags containing books on a shelf. Opting for one of those bags, I proceeded to check it out along with my other selections at the self-checkout station. However, an error message popped up for one of the books, prompting me to seek assistance at the front desk. Unfortunately, the librarian I encountered displayed a consistently rude demeanor. From the outset, she incessantly complained about my misplacing of the library card which make it hard for her to scan the card, demonstrating impatience throughout the entire process without even uttering a simple please. After confirming that the book had no issues, I prepared to leave with my children. To my dismay, as we approached the exit, the alarm sounded. Treating me as if I were a thief, the librarian demanded that I empty the contents of my bag. Eventually, she realized that the alarm had been triggered by the read-with-me bag I had previously selected. She then insisted that I should have used the front desk service to check out that bag, implying that it was common knowledge for everyone except me. However, I failed to find any instructions regarding front desk checkout either on the bag itself or on the shelf where the bags were placed. Regardless, she proceeded to recheck the bag for me. Even after she completed the checkout process, I passed through the exit once again, only to have the alarm go off once more. Frustrated, the librarian impatiently instructed me to just go with the bag. Finally, I left with the bag in hand. Clearly, the alarm had nothing to do with my failure to check it out at the front desk with her, and she had not mentioned the necessity of checking the bag with her when I sought confirmation for the book earlier. Throughout the entire ordeal, she incessantly reprimanded me in front of my children, making us feel like criminals under inspection, without extending any apologies for the inconvenience caused. It was an incredibly unpleasant experience, and I genuinely hope that this staff member does not treat others in the same manner in the future. While I understand that mistakes can occur, such rude behavior and the tendency to shift blame onto others are highly disappointing.

2023-02-05 18:14:31Overall a great public library. Very kid friendly with big fish tank and also lots of age appropriate books and activities. I love their story time every week in the new constructed activity room. Also a lots of parking with a few EV charging station in the front so you can charge in the same time. All the staff are very friendly and helpful too!
