Definitely coming back to try other dishes. The fried chicken did not come with any sauce so we had to ask for some of those cilantro green sauce. I enjoyed the Indian dishes more than the Chinese fusion dishes for sure.

We got couple chat items to eat in the restaurant and they were OK - 7/10. The yogurt sauce on top was uncomfortably cold. Looks like this establishment doesn’t believe in quality food even though service and the location is great!We also got couple items to go - biryani with butter paneer and hakka noodles. We ended up getting biryani with chicken - really ?!?!This was our dinner and now we ended buying another dinner. Recommend this place for ambience and speed of service but don’t recommend for quality!

We went here for lunch and it was amazing. I’ve never been to a restaurant with so much hospitality. We went in and they seated us and served us the most delicious food. We ordered 4 meals and we received them less than 10 minutes of ordering. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!!

This place is SO GOOD. All of the dishes are flavorful but not overly spicy. I’ve been here multiple times and the quality is consistently top notch. I can’t pretend to know what “authentic” Indian food tastes like, but I’ve been to a lot of places in the city and this place always is delicious!They highly encourage you to order online through their portal, and it’s the best way to do it. There are plenty of options for you to modify your order and they haven’t messed up a single order for me. I highly recommend this spot!

This place is too harshly criticized. Though the food is a little pricey, I think the atmosphere and quality justify it.Also I was very impressed by the robot that takes the food to the table, what an insane touch!All of the dishes I have tried have been delicious, except the CTM burrito which is 90% rice. Personally my favorites are the Quesadillix and Samosa. Super flavorful and well done

Finally got to visit after waiting for so many months to launch and settling with the food truck. I was pleasantly surprised with food ordered. Portions were good and presented well. Staff is Enthusiastic. We had keema pav. Vada pav and chaat over taj beer. Tech savvy .. order at table and a robot deliverd. Nice to see that the space is shared with a full bar.

So we had the vegetarian thali and a makhani butter bowl with a fried ravioli as an appetizer.Thali - 2/5Bowl - 3/5Ravioli - 5/5Thali was filled with rice… doesn’t do justice to the cost. I had the paneer tikka masala and the butter paneer, and of course the dal. It came with a ridiculously small samosa, a bread (I can’t call it naan…), and some fryums.Value - 2/5 (didn’t feel like a thali. A dessert, a yogurt dish, and a drink like chaas was missing).Taste - 3/5. I could still taste the raw spices… almost like it needed to simmer for another 10 mins. Dal, usually comfort food with less spices and lite on the stomach was hard to eat. It had too much going on. Paneer dishes didn’t wow me either.Presentation - 4/5. Nothing went soggy. After coming in and taking a long time to look at the menu, server came up to us and offered her help. She was so sweet in giving us her recommendations for us to have the best experience trying some of everything on the menu to share with our whole party. That recommendation led to a wonderful meal doing exactly what was suggested. Definitely worth a visit to try something new and get out of your comfort zone if youve never had Indian food before. Ordered takeout online. First time customer and was offered $5 promo code that never worked. The order page kept throwing error of error validating basket or promo code has been used. Nevertheless I placed an order without the promo code as it was only $5 (I had to clear the basket and re-added the items). Web developer must not have proper software testing. Has anyone successfully claimed this?Ordered fried rice with chicken (paid $2 extra). Food came without chicken. Food portion was small but tasted good. Naan was too hard. The paneer curry was good as well.Parking was difficult (not restaurants fault) but order was ready at promised time.I had mixed experiences with this restaurant. I provided feedback on the missing chicken and the response was please come back again. That is such a terrible response as the restaurant did not show an effort to fix their mistakes? Came in today at 3pm cautiously optimistic based on the mixed reviews Ive read. My experience was excellent, particularly service. They did a great job of checking in on me throughout my visit, bringing food promptly, giving recommendations... I ended up trying the tacos per the servers recommendation. They were very flavorful. I came in with a big appetite so I ordered the chicken masala burrito after, which was a big portion and also very flavorful. Will definitely be returning; love their friendly demeanor and the delicious take on Indian street food. Hope they stick around and more people have experiences like I had today.Shout out to Willy for going the extra mile to make the experience personal and enjoyable. Good dude.

We ordered take out here a few days ago. Sorry to say the quality of the food was poor. The samosa chat was not prepared well and bhel puri looked like store bought bhel with a side of chutney, no other toppings. Also, the email offer of a discount for a $40 order was not honored, at checkout the system required me to bump up the order to $50 to get the same discount. All in all a disappointing experience!

I enjoyed the food. Good variety of flavors, Indian inspired. Pav bhaji is Potatoes with pease and spices served with a butter toasted bun, to make your own vegetarian burger . The Daal was not fully cooked with mung beans required a chew. Samosas were excellent. Dahi Puri was excellent. Death by tikka masala Talí is a good tasting menu option. Service was average. Interestingly there is a serving robot inside.

Upon entering we were not directly greeted by anyone and did not realize we could seat ourselves and order online via QR code. Ordering system via QR code was somewhat hard to navigate on Android (couldnt scroll through tabs at the top and had to scroll down the whole menu to select the items I wanted). After ordering someone approached us to add us to the waiting list - very confused as wed already been seated and ordered food - maybe its a waiting list for service or checking vaccine cards? After this the food arrived quickly. The chicken tikka masala was average tasting (yummy but not mindblowing), and had a very large portion which I appreciated. Pav bhaji was stellar and tasted amazing (buttery crisp and soft bread and perfectly warm vegetable curry) - 100% would recommend. Kachori chaat was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and accommodating after the initial confusion over ordering + waitlist. Will come back to try the other dishes in the future.

Tonight we were greeted by Jay as we walked into the establishment. We asked if we could be seated at the bar for a cocktail and a beer He welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel special! Our bartender was Kyle. If you have a chance to be served by Kyle you will get an amazing cocktail! He was friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks he created for us! Again, I highly recommend the mango sangria. It was EXCELLENT! Kyle made an amazing drink for a couple next to us with shaved ice, whiskey, rum, and a lit up cinnamon stick! Food is hit or miss but usually miss lately. Tandoori chicken burger is usually a crunchy, hard slab of mostly bread crumbs. Wait in line for a long time and then asked to tip up front before the food is even out. Take a seat (find the least dirty table), then the food is brought to you by a robot! Its not how Indian food tastes, there many places in Bay area provide much better quality and taste of Indian food. The naan in thali was not freshly made from scratch, more of frozen re heated.The quantity in thali was so less that my 6 yr old could finish 80% of thali, supposedly for adults. We have been regular at Curry Up Now San Jose so we went for this without a second thought. And that was a disaster. They have a fried rice and chilli chicken on menu as Kolkata Street food. We are from Kolkata and that was nothing like Kolkata Chinese. The rice was wet in sauce and the vegetables combination was the frozen packet you get at Target or Safeway (carrots, beans, peas, corn). Kolkata fried rice needs julliene cut of onion, bell pepper, carrots, beans and cabbage. This was nothing like that. The chilli chicken was okay but again too strong on sauce. Not at all Kolkata style. Keema pav was below average and kids butter chicken and rice tasted fine but packaged without thoughts. Bunch of papadam and 2 parle G biscuits was layered over the rice and then closed when hot. Imagine how soggy they have become after a 30-40 minutes drive. Overall super disappointed. Please friends, what you eat as Kolkata fried rice and chilli chicken at this place is not what you get in Kolkata, its not even close. Even if I let that sentiment be aside for a moment, wet fried rice? Not done.

Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs!We ordered a Hakka Noodles dish and a veg Thali, hoping for a delicious meal. However, the reality was far from our expectations. The Hakka Noodles arrived first, and it was evident that something was amiss right away. The noodles were drenched in an overwhelming amount of soya sauce, making it almost inedible. To make matters worse, the noodles were undercooked, leaving a raw taste in every bite. The dish wasnt even served hot, adding to our frustration.As if that wasnt bad enough, the Thali was a complete disaster. It seemed as though the dishes were not prepared fresh off the stove, and the naan was disappointingly cold.The overall experience was disheartening and I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The vada pav and tandoori naan(pizza) were absolutely delicious and left me craving for more. The vada pav had a perfect blend of flavors and the tandoori naan(pizza) was a unique twist on a classic. However, I was disappointed with the chicken fried rice. It lacked flavor, was overcooked, and had an unpleasant aftertaste. I went to the Lot to explore the new restaurants. We decided on Curry Up Indian street food. We walked in and the place was a mess. Most of the tables were dirty from previous customers and had yet to be cleaned up even though the restaurant was relatively empty. The girl at the counter was very nice and helpful. She was busy and while we were looking at the menu we had questions and the young man that was there was completely grumpy and not helpful so we waited for the young lady and placed the order. We found a table in the corner that was clean and took it. The food took quite a while to come out so we ordered cocktails. The cocktails were good but extremely small, like miniature. When the food did come out it was good. It wasn’t great. It definitely stayed with me through the next day. Between the messy restaurant, the grumpy young man and the feeling the food gave me I can’t say I would return.

Was there for lunch with my daughter. Ordering seemed confusing at first and I had trouble figuring out what had cashews (allergen). The staff was busy but friendly and did help me figure out cashew free items. Once I got some pointers the order process was super easy. Food took a while to prep but was def worth the wait. Told me they were missing ingredients and brought out the dishes with these missing ingredients 30 minutes later3. I asked for water twice and didnt get it until I was done eating4. Hello,Im writing about my experience at your San Ramon location.To go back in history, we have had your food at the food truck and your San Jose location and we were not disappointed. So when we got to know you have a location closer to us (Dublin) in San Ramon, we were happy to try it again.Unfortunately we were seriously disappointed. We Arrived at the restaurant at 8:20pm and were promptly told to order at the kiosk. We did that.Then we waited for 25 minutes, which brings us closer to closing time. Meanwhile, we noticed a few disgruntled customers, sending food back... And impatiently waiting to be served condiments. That is the first indication that a restaurant is not running the way it should be. We were now anxious as to how our food will turn out.Our order was finally ready but when our server brought it to us, she, in a very matter of fact tone, told us we cannot have the kachori Chaat.. they ran out of kachori and offered a bhel.... We asked if papdi Chaat is available and she replied she will check. She came back in a few minutes and said, sorry no papdi Chaat.. Actually no Chaat at all because they ran out of garbanzo mash. And I cant replace anything because the kitchen is closed. Now I can understand this might happen sometimes at a restaurant, specially close to closing time, but why did she wait till the last minute to inform me this? And then to tell me that the kitchen is closed, so basically we cannot give you any food.I had no options anymore.Finally I said that we can take the refund and then she says, sorry we cant do that either as the register is closed.I was stumped!!! She then offered me halwa and gulab jamun in return. Now the summary is....1) I didnt get what I wanted, 2) didnt get the money I paid and 3)instead got dessert which I didnt want, but had no option. We accepted what was given and left.Finally, we arrived home and opened up our dinner... All our food was extra spicy!!! .... The burgers were so oily, they had oil dropping out of the fried chicken when we squeezed it.!. The original fried chicken sandwich was so spicy, my child had to have a bowl full of yoghurt just to soothe his burning mouth!! The deconstructed samosa was so spicy and soggy we couldnt eat it.The meat sweats Thali has originally a kashmiri lamb, but was replaced by keema aloo without letting me know. The ghee chicken was literally water and chicken and some veggies.... That shows that it was diluted and added to my Thali! It was inedible!In essence, at the end of it, we had no more edible food for 6 hungry people after paying $120. Is this it has come down to? What happened to curry-up-now food standards?? This is not acceptable from someone so well loved and established as you are. Please remember, a customer makes you & breaks you....

I am so impressed with EVERYTHING! The food is phenomenal. I was waited on like I was at a five star resort. The service is impeccable; the staff works remarkably well together, three times in ten minutes I was asked if I would like the heater lamp turned on, I was greeted and checked on by multiple employees, etc. They are working their tails off and doing it with a smile. This place is dog friendly, kid friendly, the staff is warm, welcoming and so lovely. The accommodations are beyond reasonable. Plus, you can watch the big screen at the Lot from the outside seating . We left the Lot and watched the Giants game from here instead. Although the Giants lost, we found our new favorite spot! I will be frequenting this spot in the future.

Am updating a previous review of 1 star when they did not know anything about the coupons sent to local residents, and had no one to ask. And sadly the person was not very friendly about it, so we left. However, management reached out to us to make amends. We did go back and had an excellent meal: had the Deconstructed Samosa with chicken and cauliflower rice - it really was amazing (and had a nice kick to it), much to my surprise. Hubby had Punjabi by Nature burrito and loved it. We will be back! Want to try the fried chicken sandwich, which looked really good. Glad we gave it another chance.

I have ordered couple of times from this location and the deconstructed samosas felt refried and stale. My main reason for this review is recent experience while trying to order my food.i tried ordering online but it was erroring out to I tried to call and place order and 3 times I called, someone answered and as soon as I said I would like to order they would say try online and hang up. Oh man was this food good. I got the Tika Masala Burito and the samosas and stuffed myself stupid with them. I typically like to mix a bit of Tika Masala, Chana Masala and rice together with Indian food and this burrito is basically that. It totally hit the spot and was delicious. Just the right amount of heat too. And the samosas were really good as well. That with a drink was a little over $20 but for the portion size was pretty good, and really around what everything else is price wise in this mall.Would totally cone back again just for that burrito but Im excited to try some other food there too based on what I had.

Right before they closing .However, when I finished the food, I had food poisoning in few hours.First I wanted to throw up and my body start feel cold. When I checked my body temperature I had fever 104 and that made me worried I thought I had Covid. Had very high hopes after consuming their food through delivery apps. I am a big fan of curry up now and regular customer for their SF based food trucks and restaurants. Ordered from San ramon multiple times through delivery apps and it was good. Made a visit in person and it was a nighmare. Had misunderstanding in table allocation but what surprised me was food for 5 adults came in within 2 mins of order. Rice and the entire food was not at all hot. Another surprise, the pizza naan came in very fast and again cold. They didn’t even follow the basic courtesy of atleast reheating the food. They must have served me a cancelled order food or this is their bar!

Really nice bright location inside the City Center. Food was really good - spicy, delicious and fresh! I especially loved their Meat Sweats Thali, tasty combo of Lamb Keema, Butter Chicken and Kadhai chicken - and those Naans were fresh, soft and yummy! We also tried Tikka Masala plate and Lamb Bowl and their Tandoori Fried Chicken - everything was delicious. The Fryums were a nice little trip down the memory lane. I went with a bunch of colleagues for a reunion after the COVID stay home. Most food wasnt at a 5-star level. I stayed with their core-expertise of Kathi roll and deconstructed samosas. These are always pretty good with vegetarian and vegan options. I have been to the San Jose location many times before the pandemic and enjoyed the food and ambience there. We went to the San Ramon location yesterday. Ordered 2 rums&thums (brought back memories of my beloved Bangalore in the 90s!) vada pav (fresh, hot, and tasty), bhel puri (flavors were well balanced), and a chicken kati roll (it’s substantial, delicious and the chicken was tender). Our only issue is with the prices. I felt most drinks and food are significantly over-priced. This is not good strategy. The owner(s) probably think San Ramon is an affluent city so they can charge more. I noticed half the guests were Indians and they want value for money - always. So, my advise is for the owners to reduce the prices by 25%, footfalls and word of mouth will easily compensate for this and benefit you in the long run. Good luck.

Signage is very bad too so the universe is saying stay away & my advise Curry Up By and head to Rasa in Burlingame or Saffron in San Carlos.The female cashier was lovely, full of enthusiasm but limited menu knowledge. Think there were interviews going on but I assume it was the owner on his laptop and sidekicks just looking out with death stares at myself and fellow guests.
