This place is a Covina classic. I haven’t been here in at least 15 years and aside from the exterior of of building it hasn’t changed a bit! Good food as usual because you you make it your self haha and lots of fresh ingredients. I took my son here for his first time today before the dodgers game and he gave it 5 out of 5 stars.

I was really surprised with the flavor and the service here. I stopped for take out and was provided everything needed. Now, when seasoning your food they provide two maybe 3 options. Reg, heavy and house seasoning . I went with heavy minus the wine/oil and extra garlic, 1 spoon of Kung Pao. Amazing! Definitely recommend.

Great spot to eat. I love a good buffet but all you can eat Mongolian BBQ is one of my favorites. There used to be a spot in Duarte that my family and I would go to, sadly they closed down, and the other spot we found in Fullerton changed from all you can eat to single plate serving. Da Han is a great spot, with delicious food, and very friendly service. And yes, they do give free refills on the drinks. Definitely a place I will continue coming back to.

Seems like this Mongolian BBQ has a new name. Ive been coming here since the late 1990s when it was Emperor Mongolian BBQ but still receive the same great service with hard working staff. Its located in the Dennys shopping center off the 10fwy off the Grand exit. The cooks are the best, always nice and with such a great attitude despite the weather since theyre in an enclosed, hot area. Decent selection of fresh tasty food. Im always satisfied when I come here.

Food is always good but was kicked out literally by the guy in charge because it was closing time and his employees were still eating. I felt that he should have approached me in a more professional manner vs having me finish up quickly so that he could close out his register.

Came to celebrate with the fam. Have been looking for a good Mongolian BBQ spot since the one next to my house closed down. This gem is hidden away in a small Plaza but the food is great. Place does get crowded quick so make sure you hook your plate up. Will eventually come back.

Went to this fine establishment at 11am (opening time). Food was fresh and delicious. Waitress was very friendly! I love that you can still grab your own plate and get whatever you want. This place was very clean. Also the price was great. Love the booth seating.

Servers are quick and friendly with all of my needs. Food was phenomenal and the cook was helpful with the sauces and seasonings I didn’t know. I got the Lunch special which was $14.95 but an All-Can-You-Eat is $18.95 which is incredibly reasonable

Ive not been to Mongolia nor am I really interested but I am glad that our society has made room to accept their cuisine. Perhaps this is a watered down interpretation of authentic Mongolian cuisine but how are we to know? Have you been to Mongolia? Was there any food like this? I dont care. This is good enough for me. Actually, lets assume this is as authentic as possible and not watered down at all. What difference does it make. NONE. Enjoy your pathetic life in a simulacrum we call southern California dude.

You cannot require it to be Michelin-starred restaurant when you rate it since its price way cheap than the Michelin-starred restaurant. I mean it’s more than what I expected when I just paid this price. A lot of choices in one meal, meat, vegetables, many sauces for various flavors, and will keep you full. I especially love their sesame biscuits. Good choice.

Whats not to love about this restaurant? The Mongolian BBQ is the same as what you find at the mall. The value proposition is one of the best! They have no issue with you loading it up.The decor is somewhat outdated and old, but I dont think anyone is really taking the time to look at it. Plenty of tables inside. Each table has a bottle of hand sanitizer and there are plastic gloves if needed. The veggies and meat are fresh. Free mongolian bread and wonton skin? This place is awesome!!!

Wish I could give this place more stars cause it deserves it! Hinestly if I could only write one review I would write this one. This place is so good the manager is always there and shes super attentive! If she hears your drink is running out she will come so fast and ask if you want refills. The cook is always so nice and smiling. The food is wonderful and fresh. I live about 30-45 min away and I still make the drive when Im craving this place.Look if I was stupid rich I would buy them a place closer to my house and built them a resturant. Love love love.

I dont know I had a Mongolian restaurant so close! I believe there hours have changed due to COVID. Dinner hours apply. Walk in sanitary stations are in restaurant. You have groves and individual tongs for your food. Cleanliness is a priority and is taken seriously.Okay now for the price and selection... you choose between or all steak, chicken, shrimp. Bar of yummy veggies, and sauces if choice. The chef prepares as you patiently wait. For $14.00 its as much as the bowl will fit. Its definitely a hearty portion that can be shared or have left-overs. The dish is how you make it!!! Mine was delicious and I will be back. You get a delicious role to compliment your entrée.The staff has hustling around. Enforcing the health mandates and being hospitable in one! They have made outdoor dining for those that prefer to still eat at the restaurant.I will be back!! Definitely if are looking for yummy filling clean eating - dont wait! Small business, I only ever see one waitress but she is very accommodating and is able to serve everyone quickly. Bread and chips come with the meal and the bread is made in house and brought fresh to your table, it is VERY GOOD. Reasonably priced and I always have more than enough for a second meal. Nice atmosphere and very nice people!!

Food was delicious, service was excellent. The server Diane was extremely attentive, literally bouncing from table to table making sure everyone was satisfied. I dare to say that I dont think Ive ever had service like the one she provided. The cook also was extremely nice but I didnt get his name. So many people and he was cooking with a smile. When I asked him if it wasnt too much for him, his answer was nope it makes the shift go by faster! Not sure who owns this place, but you need to seriously be thankful for the awesome people I met when my family dined in your establishment. We are not local and only found this gem by sheer luck, but we will definitely make our way back! Thanks again to the cook and the server Diane, first time I felt good spending my hard earned money in a while! Give this place a try, its small, its a bit dated, but they make up for it in the taste, service and over all price. I doubt youll regret stopping by for a meal.

You would never know how amazing of a place this is from outside. The interior is beautiful and clean. The help we recieved was super friendly and very attentive.Lets be clear all that other stuff is great, but the food is just as good! You choose what and how much. Youre not limited to teriyaki and chili sauce. There are 12 different sauces ranging from spicey, salty sweet and savory. To be able to change th flavor so readily is just next level from all other locations. We cant wait to come back!And to the lady who was at the counter and helped us throughout the time we were there, thank you so much for how kind you where to our Daughter. We love this place. Hadnt been in a few years. We visited my sister in law who enjoys it 2 or 3 times a week.Forgot to take pictures.:(You select frozen slices of beef, chicken or pork plus any number of vegetables including celery, peppers, cilantro, jalapeno, cabbage, onion, baby corn, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, spinach, bamboo shoots and then finally add garlic, or your choice of spicy oils.Then give to chef at hot grill.It is okay to use two bowls to hold all your selected items.Update - only use one bowl for lunch unless you get permission.

Everything was great, it is run by a couple with some kitchen staff help. They have been here a long time. The meat, veggies and amount of choices from the sauces are all great. Plus the wife seems to take care of the service side of things and she is very nice and attentive. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is the price. Dinner for 2 adults, 2 kids and 3 sodas came out to $78. Unfortunately that is a bit steep in my book for the overall experience.

If you are in the mood for Mongolian BBQ, which is actually not Mongolian, this is a good place to drop in. You can select from a wide variety of sauces to customize your plate.As of Mar 2018, the price is now $10.95 for one plate, and $14.95 all the AYCE option.A minor deduction today was from the bread pocket. They either had an off day, or the cooks have changed. Instead of a light flaky crust, todays bread pocket was more like a pita bread in texture.

I used to go to the all you can eat Mongolian BBQ over in Duarte until they shut down Ive been looking for another one for the last few years now is so excited when I found this place. It was very busy but they only had one person cooking the food and the person was only doing it one bowl at a time so the line for the cook was extremely long almost out the door even though we ended up paying for and all you can eat buffet I didnt have the patience to wait in line for a second turn so I only had one plate and so did my husband.

This is a great Mongolian BBQ spot! The place is always clean, very spacious and well laid out. The food is really good, with fresh ingredients. They even have a small salad/dessert bar! For Mongolian bbq there is no other place as good as this one. It is well established in the local community, youll probably run into a friend here. Great food, great atmosphere. The cooks remember you, they take their time preparing your plate. Some places just rush through cooking your food, and it doesnt taste good. This place is not like that. Ive been a patron here for over 20 years, Ive always gotten the same great service. They even give you 4 refills on the drinks you order. They also have jello and fruit for you after your meal.

I started serving myself and the owners son comes up to me to let me know that there will be a surge charge on top of the $12.95 that is stated on the wall. He said that everything has gone up. Price is for one time only, now he decides that he wants to stick me for an additional $4.00 more. Stay away from this joint, theyll try to nickel and dime you any way that they can. Came here for lunch and it wasnt too crowded. Parking isnt too bad, theres a few lots outside.The prices are decent, it raised a lot from the years before but its still pretty reasonable. You can also get All you can eat for a little bit more.It starts off with a buffet style kind of bbq, you pick and choose everything you want. We paid for one bowl because thats usually enough for us (we always PACK the bowl). Then a guy will cook the food for you, doesnt take too long.Im so glad theres a sauce guide by the wall, I wouldnt have known how much sauce to put in.We sat on the booth, its kind of a diner type of restaurant. The bowl tasted a little too dry and I didnt know what else to add onto the bowl.What deserves a 4 star is that they provide so many extra things - chips, bread, etc. And you get an all you can eat dessert/ fruit bar.Keep in mind theres only 2-3 fruits and the rest are for the salad.

Four meat selections, veggies, and a good array of sauces let you spice your meal exactly the way you like.The cooks really know their stuff, so I recommend you just nod any time they hold up a bottle to add more flavor to your food.The wait staff is very attentive. Found this great Mongolian spot on Grand Ave just north of the 10 Fwy. Very easy to find. They also have a 4 table dine in outside in the back. They have a lunch hour and also a all you can eat dinner as well. The food is very fresh and this place is super clean. Diane, is fantastic and she keeps on coming back to see if your ok or need anything else while your dining. I cant say enough of this place but advice you to try it for yourself and you will see what I am talking about. I will be coming here many more times in the future.

This place is a hidden gem in West Covina. The food is amazing and the staff here is pretty friendly. The only knock Id give it is the variety of foods to choose from was a bit small but that was mostly made up by the soup, bread and crisps they brought to the table. Love this place! You pick you meats, vegetables, the amount of noodles and your sauces. (Dont forget vegetable oil if you get veggies) They cook it up to perfection. Lunch is one trip and dinner is all you can eat. At lunch they are usually ok with a To-go box but at dinner if you make a second trip then no to-go box. The point is to eat what you can.

Feel like my own kitchen everytime I visit Emperor Mongolian BBQ cause I get to set up my own recipe, adjust my own dressing and sauce, decide how spicy today to fit my mood.
