Daltons Cafe in Cypress

Went for brunch!Food: 6/10Great portions but very, very bland. I’ve never had to add so much salt and pepper to a dish. I ordered the Spanish omelet without cheese and my friend ordered the veggie omelet. They were cooked very well, but we’re in severe need of spices. The hash browns were 10/10! Best part of the whole dish.Service: 10/10The server was so kind, efficient and knowledgeable of the menu. I would come here again just for the service.Ambiance: 8/10Plenty of seating, clean and pleasant atmosphere. The chairs could use some upholstering however, no matter where I sat on my side of the booth I kept sinking into the seat from lack of cushioning and it wasn’t the most comfortable. My friend also had the same issue on her side of the booth. It’s a very nice place but could use some updates.Overall I would probably try the other breakfast spots around due to the lack of seasonings, but if you want to try out a place we’re the people who work there have a great attitude, this would be your spot.

Nice homie atmosphere. Our server was Luis, he was awesome. Personable and attentive. Delicious food!!

The prices listed online are not the same as we had on 10-1-2023. Most items were $2-$3 more than what is in the Google listing under Menu.The food was acceptable. My wifes pumpkin muffin was good, until she found a hair in it. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. Food was hot. They kept the coffee coming. I dont believe it was worth $90+ for the four of us (with tip), but thats the nature of the restaurant business nowadays.

Great service and delicious food. I had the meat omelet, a little salty but delicious. The grits and biscuit were kind of dry, not much flavor there. We went on a Saturday morning and were in and out. Bought some of the Pastries as well

Found this place on yelp and also curious since we live in Cypress. Finally made it and its very dated but I really like the feel. We hardly had to wait.Sylvia our waitress was super friendly attentive and patient. (Since it was our first time here and didnt know what we wanted to order)Food was good very tasty except my steak. Was tender and looked delicious. But had no flavor. I had to salted my self. Still wasnt good. Was tender tho....We will definitely be back and give it another go, next time.

You cant beat this mom and pop diner. This is as close to homemade as you can get. The staff is very sweet and give great service. Portions are large and have great value. Definitely one of cypresss hidden gems.

Local family friendly diner with well made food. Staff is friendly and make you feel like family. You even get a free huge cookie when you go there for the first time.

Had the worst experience here just today to buy my daughter’s lunch for school. The server needs to do something with her attitude problem. She was mean right from the start and I didnt even bother to call her out. She then handed me my order without me even looking at her. And she goes You’re welcome in a sarcastic way bec I didnt say thank you and I just simply left. I dont know her name but she’s a little chubby, light brown hair, high pitched voice and white a guess??Nevertheless, I wont be coming back there ever again! Kindness is always free.

We decided to try this place out because we have passed by it several times. Such a cute place and all decorated up for St Patricks Day. A warm, cozy place with good service and good food. The portions were pretty good size. I ordered spaghetti and my husband ordered chili size, I think it was called. We both enjoyed it and will go back again.

Cant say enough good things about Daltons Cafe. The service was exceptional and the food is outstanding. The cranberry muffin alone is worth the trip. The Sloppy Joe Omelet is very good.
