Had the Ultimate Salmon roll, my niece and her boyfriend had the same, to go. It is my absolute favorite, better than other places. My niece thought it was expensive at around $17, but after they ate, they agreed it was awesome. The layers of flavor, the thin lemon slice, the tiny dot of chili really elevates the taste. Its a treat I like to have every once in a while.

Our server Tony was SO patient with me! It was my first time trying sushi and I was leery. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was excellent. Loved, loved loved the eel sauce! The salmon was my favorite. Will definitely be back! Oh yeah and the plum wine, sweet but packed a punch! Yall come on down!! Dont miss this little gem in Bellflower.

Sushi is really good here! A lot of places stuff theirs with rice to fill you up, but this place doesnt. You can actually taste the ingredients. Really enjoyed my meal there. Will definitely be back.

Honestly, one of the quality and fresh sushi place. Ive been here several times, quality is always good and so satisfying. My fav is salmon sushi and sashimi salad.

Great little spot. Ive only been here twice but each time I try something new and it is always delicious and priced competitively. We had already ate some of the food before my picture was taken but the cucumber no-rice roll is my new favorite thing here!

This place is the go to for sushi. Menu has been great for years. The prices have climbed since the days before COVID but still reasonable.There are a few cons. Parking is very limited. And so is indoor seating. This place is very pleasant if you are lucky to get a seat and parking spot.The food is fantastic otherwise.

I Love This Place! Its My absolute favorite sushi spot to go to! I Love both chefs Paul & Scott Great guys and amazing cooks! They always make me feel like Im at home when I go there Id recommend this place to everyone! One of my favorites is the big dog roll! Youll love it! Absolutely love this place. The food is delicious. Although the young lady is not really friendly, however I dont think she is purposely trying to be rude. Its a really small place and they are always super busy, so I think shes just overwhelmed. Either way if you can look past that then youll absolutely love this place too. Baked salmon roll, baby lobster roll, ultimate salmon roll, rainbow roll and many more. We normally order 7 rolls each time we go. Cant say enough great things about this place.

Ive been a regular customer for 5 years, Ive always come with my service dog many times before the pandemic, and today I came back after moving back to NC during the pandemic and decided to dine in to have the full experience again. The food was awesome as always, the waiter was amazing, but the hostess ruined my meal when at the end she asked me about my service dog, I gave her the answer, and despite my answer she kept harassing me about the dog, that not only is a trained service dog for PTSD, but also had been extremely quite as it should be the entire time, she should have asked me at the beginning and no issues, I know the protocol, but the fact that she made the scene when I was leaving and continued after I gave her the answer just made it a bad experience.

I was really glad to pick this place to go have sushi one day when in an area of town that I’m not usually in. They do a lot of take out orders so it seems pretty popular. The sushi is super fresh, sauces are tasty, service and price are great. Will come back!

Super dank Japanese food!!! The price is really great too! I ordered 3 different rolls and they were so good. Devoured them. My mom is a picky eater and she loved them too.I got the classic: a crunch roll and also ordered the salmon tempura roll and the calamari roll. I also loved the fact that they included a few pieces of tempura with the rolls.If your hungry, I suggest you call way ahead of time. Im guessing that they tend to get overwhelming large amounts of orders so it can leave you waiting between an 1 to 1:30 for food.I mean, it is worth the wait, but if youre starving, plan ahead. I did order on a Friday night, so Im not sure if that was the reason for it. I cant wait to try their bento box lunch special 😋.

I would alway ask for extra teriyaki sauce and the one waiter that was there would always hook it up..The last couple of times I have been there the price has gone up which is understandable but the quality has gone down significantly.. when I would go it would only be the itamae-sushi chef and the waiter- long hair he later became the itamae.. but last time I went whole new unfriendly staff.. sad to say I’m not going back.. I hate to give this 5 star place 1 star after years of coming..

I loved the fact that we were able to walk in, be seated right away, eat some nice fresh sushi rolls and walk out completely satisfied.It was quiet and relaxing eating at Daru Sushi, but dont let that scare you the food was very fresh and great tasting.We went on a Sunday afternoon, found parking right away.Green iced tea was great, the spicy tuna roll was great, and edamame to top it all off.We will definitely be going back!

The best sushi 🍣😋😍 the young lady that takes the orders is not nice it all she is always with a bad attitude but the sushi to die for.. I remember my first time I didnt know what to order I asked for some help and she didnt want to provide any help.!! She should be more nicer to the costumers, because we are the reason she still haves a business open. Many restaurants out there are closed due to the pandemia and the ones open should keep the costumers happy!!

Its inexpensive, its great sushi, they can make orders to dine in or to go, they dont take too long, they have a wide selection and did I mention that its inexpensive and its the best for your buck?! Thats my problem with other sushi places: their not that great, take forever, and l usually feel like I lost an arm and a leg for nothing.Its a small place and I sincerely hope others get to know about this fantastic place. Id love for other sushi places to more or less give me the satisfaction this one does after Im done eating their food.

Arrived to place take out order, I had my 4 year son with me, I sat on the stools to look a menu, the cook said, no kids on the stools I ask whats that? He said kids cant sit on stools, than I said I have to go, just lost a regular customer...to bad for them, half a mile away is hello sushi where their food is even better just farther for me but they are kid friendly.

A nice little sushi restaurant you might not notice at first. The staff was very polite and quick with their service. We were given some Edamame on the house even which was really nice. The price was very affordable and there was a pretty wide selection to choose from. Fish-to-Rice ratio was a not the greatest honestly, the fish was too thick which threw off the balance of the sushi. The thickness of the fish meant you were chewing for a considerable amount of time between each piece. The texture of the tuna was a bit strange which makes me wonder the quality of it. Overall, Daru Sushi & Roll Teriyaki is not the greatest, but pretty decent, with wonderful staff, in a quiet little building.

So, five seems not real. But, it is. Example: I dropped my chop sticks and with the waiter walking by, he takes his time out of waiting for four other families there to grab me a new pair. Awesome, that was the waiter, so attentive. Now, our Sushi chef, every roll he made and sushi he layed, all had so much flavor that I can go back again tomorrow if we had the time. Please, experience it for yourself. Out of sight! All Sushi was fresh, and always is. My wife and I with our children have been going now for 2 and a half years. God bless you.

Honestly, this place is fantastic. Its a cozy little sushi place that make you feel like you in a restaurant in Japan. The music is great and the server was nice. I eat sushi a lot an at a lot of places lately this has been my go to place. Prices are reasonable quantity is smaller but quality is excellent. Best tasting sushi in LA try the garlic ponzu and the spicy garlic ponzu and his yellowtail regular 2 piece sushi a simple order but the quality is soooo much better than any other place Ive been to. I fish a lot and make my own sushi this little gem an is awesome, order my favorite Ginza. Dont go for the place, dont go for the service, dont go for the ambiance, go for the food make your tummy happy and youll be happy.
