Delicious food, great service, varied menu, and good value for generous portions. Highly recommend the matzo ball soup - clear, flavourful broth and a very light matzo ball. Rare roast beef on a kaiser was mouth-wateringly good, plus a choice of sides that come with sandwiches - we had the potato salad. They have outside terrace style seating for eating-in.

The pastrami sandwiches here are not cheap but there is a reason. They are delicious and the cuts of meat definitely taste premium. They are loaded with tons of meat. You can even get leaner cuts of meat for premium if youre trying to keep it on the healthier side.

I really love the fresh roasted turkey Breast sandwich (with Swiss cheese) the cucumber salad, the side of pickle, and the fries. Guilty of craving this $$$ sandwich all the time.-minus no stars because I did not love the potato salad. It’s on the sweet side and my Vietnamese mom palate kicked in. We like “not too sweet” things. If you love that flavor, it’s excellent!No time for photos. Only time for eat. I do have to say, it’s a beautifully prepared sandwich.

This place is the real deal, with great sandwich’s. We had the lox bagel and the Papa hot pastrami sandwich and black and white cookie. All were so delicious- the highlights were the soft bread and the freshly sliced pastrami. The cookie was also a surprising stand out. So good.The papa came with potato salad which was delicious

Papa should be proud of his offspring. Cucumber salad side was the effect foil for the richness of my cheesy grilled turkey sando. Fries are crisp and fluffy inside.

I really wanted to like this place, but the sandwich I got was not good. The corned beef was chewy. I couldn’t eat half of it. It was like biting into a sandwich with bubble gum in it. I’d chew for a bit, realize the food wasn’t breaking down and then have to spit it out. Not a great experience.My first time at Daughter’s Deli, and it was a big letdown. Wish this place was as good as the other reviews made it sound.

Totally lives up to the hype! I had the brisket sandwich, and the meat was tender and juicy with awesome flavor. Matzoh ball soup was tasty - upgrade to the bowl so you can get some chicken chunks in there. Also blown away by the Kugel, which was super sweet with perfect texture. The best part is that its not too pricy, like some of the famous delis in town.

Pretty tasty food, just when I got there for picking up, the supervisor or manager in charge was not friendly and forgot the order name I gave him, maybe because he was under pressure, so he just needs to improve his problem solving skills so he can keep his customer service quality.

Cashier was extremely kind and friendly.Bagel was wack. Poor texture - quite dry. Whitefish salad was pretty good though.Turkey nana sandwich was good, but too much Russian dressing which drowned out the other flavors. Double baked rye didn’t have the delicate softness of Langer’s bread.I wouldn’t hurry back.

There are menus posted on the windows so youll be ready to order when you step up to the counter. They only have outdoor seating but we had no problem getting a table. The view of heavily traveled Sunset is interesting. We saw several tour buses and even a delivery robot. I had the Nana, corn beef with sauerkraut and cucumber side. Hubby had chili. I would def order the same again. I did not try them, but the french fries looked delicious and fresh. Parking is tight here but a lot of cars are only picking up so the spots open quickly.

Yesterday it was just fair. The turkey sandwich was very good as usual. The hot pastrami was terrible. The fat on the pastrami was hard and unappetizing. My wife had to pick off all of the fat to make it barely edible. The potato knish was very good. Bad day for pastrami lovers!

Great pastrami, very nice owners and wonderful employees but….The sandwiches are surprisingly and astonishingly small, especially for an authentic Deli (that knows to use Foxes U-Bet syrup for egg creams!). The chicken soup is watery/tasteless - but the matzoh balls are great.I wish they had a delivery option choice for extra meat on the sandwiches and hopefully they will get that chicken soup tasting as such.I look forward to re-reviewing and giving they the 5 star rating they should have when they have matured a bit.

Omg! I was totally blown away! I randomly found this place on Uber Eats and so glad I did. I ordered the potato latkes and tunafish sandwich. On the sandwich, I added avocado, Swiss cheese, and tomatoes.The potato latkes tasted just like what I remember from home. Just the right consistency and flavor. The tuna sandwich was amazing! Very well put together and balanced.I cant wait to order from them again.

We placed an order for lunch through Uber Eats. 90 minutes later the order still hadn’t been picked up so we called the restaurant who said the order was being picked up right then. Another 30 mins passed and the order still hasn’t been picked up so we canceled it. Not the restaurant’s fault, we blame Uber Eats.Because we ordered a breakfast sandwich and chili cheese fries, which wouldn’t have been good after sitting out for hours, we canceled the order through Uber Eats and placed a brand new and slightly different order directly from the restaurant to pick up. We picked it up and brought it home to find it was our old order that had been sitting out for hours with a new receipt slapped on. The food was soggy and cold and the order was incorrect. They gave us what might as well have been someone else’s food that had been sitting on their counter for close to 3 hours instead of making our new order fresh and correctly. Needless to say, I didn’t eat the soggy breakfast sandwich with brown avocado on it or the cold soggy chili fries and won’t be ordering from here again.

Not sure who the woman is who appeared to be in charge but she comes across as if its a massive inconvenience to be there. Wont be going back. Langers Deli is a far greater experience.

Very casual restaurant with outdoor seating right on Sunset blvd. I had the Hot Papa which was a delicious hot pastrami sandwich. The prices were high but it was well worth a visit. Good parking, and only 15 minute drive from UCLA—-definitely recommend if you’re in town looking for a good sandwich shop with your Bruin.

Real pastrami! Need I say more? Well I have to. I had the pastrami sandwich and it was so delicious. The pastrami was amazing and it came topped with coleslaw. I know what youre thinking, but the slaw was not over dressed and not laden with mayonaise and instead had a nice tang that contributed to the sandwich as a whole. The rye bread was so fresh it practically melted in your mouth as each bite was taken. They know how to compose something really special here. A beautifully balanced pastrami sandwich that in a most prefect world might have a touch more pastrami added because it is so delicious. Please dont let my last comment deter you in any way from having the pastrami here. If you are a pastrami lover you owe it to yourself. In fact, I am writing this review a day later and have thought about that sandwich all day. I would be in my car now if they werent closed. Enjoy!!!

OMG wish I had taken a picture of the sandwich (will take one next time). So far have tried their pastrami and corned beef. Both have been delicious. Both their rye and sour dough are flavorful and not overpowering in flavor. You get a side of half a pickle and small container (the ones you use to put condiments in) of either potato salad (which is good) or coleslaw. Great quality food, love this place.

Outside seating only. Thats fine and the inside (ordering) service was friendly. However, they have a limited menu. I ordered the tuna salad sandwich and it was extremely bland, even for tuna salad. The coleslaw was ok and the kaiser roll was good. I asked for a water and got a small cup. There was no table service except to deliver my sandwich and the person didnt ask if I needed anything; like salt and pepper or some more water maybe? I also had a cookie which was also just ok but it came in a plastic envelope that required tearing up the cookie to get it out. All in all a mediocre experience at best.

Love the food here. One of my many favorites is the chicken ceasar salad. Love the home made dressing. Cant get enough of it. Sandwiches are melt in the mouth meat!!! Owner is very nice and considerate. Staff are also great. With all these things said, expect a not so long line and not so long wait when ordering. Because a lot of people come for the food both take out and delivery. So be patient. Youll get your turn in getting great food!!!

Some things live up to the hype and some dont. This was a big did not. Its always a bit trivial to justify a $20 sandwich with a spoonful of macaroni on the side for take away. Especially when they get your order wrong and you dont discover it until you get home (cue price is right loser music) I ordered a pastrami with sauerkraut on grilled rye with mustard. Ordered just like that and not by any name. Granted its not on the menu but thats what I wanted for my $20 sandwich. What I got was a corned beef with sauerkraut and mustard on cold rye. I think we even got the short end of the loaf lol. Ahhh L.A. It was good but not mind blowing like Ive had at a typical dive greek burger place. The kugel was clearly made by a goyim. Ive been here a number of times for both breakfast and lunch. Fantastic on both counts. Small menu, but everything, I mean everything is on point. From lox to French toast to corned beef and Matzo soup, really really delicious. Its also nice to see Trish the actual owner working the counter. This girl has mustard running thru her veins because to watch her is to watch a pro. She remembers regulars orders, juggles phone lines and standing room only deli with grace and an easy smile. My only beef (pun intended) is the 8 car parking lot shared with 4 other stores. On a very busy Sunset, where your lucky to find a spot.

We just had a corned beef sandwich and a pastrami sandwich from Katz’s Deli in NYC. The Papa and the corned beef at Daughters Deli are FAR superior: I do not even recognize the rye bread at Katz’s; the meat is dry; the Russian dressing is too spicy; and the black and white is soggy. Yuck!! Daughters Deli might just have the best pastrami and corned beef sandwiches in the world! Bar none!

The Daughter has out done herself and made her heritage proud. The Daughter is our number one go-to for all the right reasons . The tuna melt, matzah scramble, blintz and french toast alone will keep you coming back for more . Daughters matzah ball soup must be the best on earth and I wouldnt be surprised to hear that everyones son was lined up to marry her because of it. I have countless friends that suffer frequently from wanderlust for just a single bite of her lean pastrami on house rye. The first time we ordered from Daughters Deli was a month ago via Postmates. The food was so good! We ordered the Pastrami/Egg/Swiss, NOI, Matzo Ball Soup and Egg Salad. They were all excellent. We were so impressed, especially with the breakfast sandwich.The following day, we ordered the same items a second time. Our second time ordering wasnt consistent with the first time when it came to the breakfast sandwich. Upon receipt of the sandwich, unlike the first time, it wasnt cut in half and had a mayo type sauce on it.We immediately gave Daughters Deli a break and did not order from them again until the other day. Weve now ordered twice within the last few days and each time, the food has been consistent and excellent. What a relief!Weve been big fans of the father deli Langers for decades and had a lot of confidence in Daughters Deli considering the relation. Thankfully, we are not at a loss and dont have to schlep across town to Langers to get the same thing now!Were definitely sticking to Daughters Deli; as long as it stays consistent. We really like the way they redesigned the building that used to be Paquito Mas and then a yogurt place. Hopefully, Daughters Deli is there to stay.

Move over Greenblatt’s, Daughter’s Deli is the BEST SPOT for traditional Jewish sandwiches in West Hollywood. I love this place. Family (husband and wife) owned and operated by the daughter (Trisha) of the legend of Los Angeles Norm Langer’s of Langer’s on 7th and Alvarado. The Nana, and Papa are the sandwiches I ordered and they were both fantastic. Great outside seating on the beautiful Sunset Strip. This place is also opened daily from 8AM-4PM. Trisha and her husband are there everyday and it’s so nice talking to Trisha. She is so sweet, and makes you feel like you’re eating at a classic diner. I will definitely be coming here more often to try the other items on the menu and I can’t wait until the Daughter’s Deli merchandise (hat) to arrive. :)

Family business! And I always support family business. Both husband and wife were there. They were friendly and welcoming. I ordered a house salad which was made with fresh veggies, and therefore tasted great! Highly recommended!

Decided to try some place new for lunch. Asked for a veggie sandwich, and was disappointed to say the least. Paid 17.50 for 2. The mustard was the only thing that gave the sandwich flavor. Stick to Sweetgreen if youre looking for something vegetarian go to Sweetgreen.
