Really enjoyed this place. The chicken was fresh and juicy. Well fried and crispy. The seasoning is sort of a dry rub. I got the hot level which has some kick, just enough to add dimension without being painful.The French fries were perfectly done as well.Obviously, its not cheap, but what is at this point?

So excited that a Dave’s Hot Chicken shop finally opened near me. This is absolutely my favorite chain from LA and eating it for the first time in the Bay Area, I can say the quality and taste are on point.I visited this location for opening weekend and it was packed even at night, but the line moved fast and the food came out quickly. There’s lots of seating both inside and outside the restaurant.Food-wise you have your standard options between tenders and sliders, both of which are delicious and huge (such great value for the price compared to some other chicken shops). Eat combo comes with fries and pickles on the side and you have to get some extra Dave’s sauce which makes the whole meal taste even better.This is definitely going to become my go-to now that it’s near by!

So i walked in ordered my food. Then waited about 5-10 minutes. then as soon as i ask for sauce one of the associates gets an attitude. Literally just walked out to write this review. Staff needs to have a better attitude. All i asked for was extra sauce. The guy that ordered in front of my knew the associate i asked for extra sauce and he was happy to give his friend 10-15 extra sauces but when I asked it was a problem. Very weird….

One of my friends told me this is better than Plucked Chicken in Pleasanton on Bernal. Don’t think it is, at least after my first visit. Takes good but not better than Plucked Chicken.Also, there are edges of the chicken that are over fried. The only thing going for it is the spice levels. I like spicy. I might try one more time but it hasn’t replaced my regular visits to the Plucked.The place is new and like the colorful decor.

It was opening day so this impression may skew one way or another when things settle down and staff have settled into their roles and arent under the gun with lines around the block.First and I suppose most importantly the chicken is good. Great texture and good flavor. We tried medium, mild, and hot. All had good flavor and neither were too insane heatwise. We heard that you have to sign a waiver to order the reaper heat level.The sandwiches are basically just a sandwich thrown around one of the chickens. Worth it in my opinion but adding cheese... They just slap a small slice of cheap cheese onto the bread. Doesnt really add much flavor or texture especially when its drowned out by the texture and flavor of the chicken. Looking at the pictures on the website I had the impression that the cheese was melted all over the chicken and was a big part of the experience but looking at the pictures again I think that what I took for cheese might have been the Daves sauce poured all over it. The chicken we got had some sauce on it but not nearly that much. Next time I may try getting extra Daves sauce in the packets to drench it more and see if that mimics the pictures better. But yeah adding cheese will cost you for no tangible benefit.Will also say that the sandwiches were bigger than expected. At least the chicken inside of them was. Giant piece of chicken... Tiny bread and topping. Kinda awkward to eat in that way but more filling and proteiny. Good bread though. Tasty and soft.The mac and cheese? I mean... Its mac and cheese. Might as well have come out of a box. Its not bad. Its definitely nothing special. I wouldnt order it again. Next time I would just get the fries. Speaking of the fries, they are good but they dont give you much of them.Their shake machine was out of order (or they just didnt want to use it during the chaos of the first day when orders were backing up) so I didnt get to try that. None of my research mentioned anyone raving about them though so my suspicion is that they will be average.

Id never heard of this franchise before and really loved the atmosphere and service. Very few choices which is understandable because its fast food and all about chicken strips. Very appealing to look at but your choices are about how HOT you want your chicken strips. Not knowing about this place I ordered medium, I really wish they had a way to test for first timers. They arent really strips, more like the whole breast. If I ever see another Daves Hot Chicken, Ill try NO heat and see how that tastes. Also very few sides. The crinkle fries were really good though.

I love the chicken sliders!!! Theyve got different spice levels depending on what you can handle. The inside wall murals and vibe is SO COOL! Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and lots of close parking space. Youve gotta check it out!

Great addition to the Dublin area dinning scene. Staff confirmed the chicken is Halal. The tender slider was fresh and juicy. Will definately return.

We ordered 3 number 2s with the double chicken slider hot and medium the spice level were good the chicken was really crispy and juicy but the buns were flat and soggy which otherwise would have made this a perfect chicken sandwich but it was good
