Had the monster sushi roll. Probably the best sushi roll Ive ever had! Its deep fried too 😋👍 Their vegetable tempura was great too. The batter was very light & extra crispy.

Such an eclectic choices of Asian cuisine in one roof. Decided with the Pad Thai Noodles with Panang Curry Fillet of Fish, Tom Yum Coconut Soup with Korean BBQ Short Ribs and Shrimp Tempura. So yummy.

I initially didn’t wanna pay $20 for pho but I must say, it was really good and I will def buy again. The pho had the right amount of noodles and meat. They gave a good amount of veggies. And the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

The egg rolls alone and dipped 😍…. Glass noodle salad is to die for ! Got mine at level three spice and it was enough for me to savor the spice but not be too spiced up to continue eating. (PSA Not warmed) the spicy noodles also at level three (warmed) tasted a bit hotter than the glass noodles but again not to the point where it’s too hot for you to enjoy at its fullest. The sticky rice tasted like it was set too long but still good. The wait time is a little long because they have so many tables with insufficient servers. Food was definitely worth the wait. Not disappointed at all!

Great food. I love their spicy noodles with shrimp. Also had the Sunkiss roll. It has avocado, shrimp, salmon, & cream cheese then deep fried, topped with spicy crab. Delicious! 😋👍

I personally thought the menu had too much from different cuisines. Thai, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese.The Nem Nuong appetizer was amazing. They were big, and firmly wrapped. The dipping sauce had a little heat, but is very good. The sauce is the key to this dish and is excellent. I definitely recommend trying this.The Spicy Noodle (Pad Kee Mao aka Drunken Noodle?) was salty. The flavor seemed lacking. It tasted like they used sweet basil instead of Thai basil. I would have enjoyed it more with the fragrant Thai basil. This entree definitely fills you up.I will come here again for the Nem Nuong springrolls and would try a curry next time.

These are their chow mein noodles they served us for a to go order. Instant ramen style noodles should be stated on the menu. Very little veggies and all this for 18 dollars. We used to be big fans but theyve been a miss the last few times. Sadly wont be coming back.

Food is fresh and has a great presentation. Service isnt the best, long wait with no greeting after being seated, on the pricier side, zero signal in their restaurant with no wifi. Sticky tables. Not ideal to eat there if you’re wanting to get work done while eating.

Lived in Tulare/Visalia for a little over 10 years and Davorns is by far the best restaurant in the area. It is the only one I find myself really homesick for after moving to the east coast this past summer. Highly recommend the spring rolls and pho. Wish they were all the way here in Georgia. If I ever come back to visit again, its on the must-have menu.

I called and asked to place an order for pick up. The girl who answered said I had to pay up front. I said, well... Im paying with cash. I have a group order and Im already down the street. She still denied to take my order. Which would have easily been more than $100. She claims people order food And dont pick it up. I was so excited and was craving the Sun kiss roll that was recommended to me. This is completely unacceptable and I dont feel its right to shoo away customers for the mistake others have made. Horrible service. She also said...well people dont call and place orders to go. Well thats even worse. Some people have children at home who cant go out to restaurants or someone who might be ill. Shame on you and I hope this review shows people how inconsiderate your establishment is. If I could give zero stars I would. You DO NOT deserve one star.

This place has good eats and the portions are pretty big. If you like spicy food, the Khao soy and spicy noodle are up your alley.It was pretty busy there and the waiter got our order wrong on one of your plates. Overall a good experience. I recommend it.

I love this place. Amazing food and drinks. For drinks, try the what the pho margarita or luckychelada. For food, the hot basil with chicken or shrimp is fire. Rolls are great too. They are pricey, but its high-quality food!

I cant believe we had to put down a $50 deposit just to reserve a booth for dinner. Even then, they made us wait for the entire party to arrive before seating us. The appetizers are so plain. They use the same thai sweet and sour dipping sauce for every single appetizer. Seems like they just purchase pre-made stuff such as the meatballs from Pho and deep fried them and call it an appetizer. Theres nothing special.

Best Thai restaurant in town. The food is amazing, very flavorful. The restaurant looks in very good conditions, restrooms are really clean just as the rest of the restaurant. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. It does get crowded, so on busy times be ready to wait. I definitely recommend to try this place at least once in your life. Their alcoholic beverages are really good as well. Try their bloody mary and davorns margarita.

Place is normally great when it comes to food! Only gripe I have is the chow mein looks nothing like the picture. They literally used instant noodles instead of house made. If you dont have the time or materials, then dont offer it. Other than that, the potstickers and Spicy Noodles were amazing. Knocked off 2 stars due to the false advertisment and failure to disclose that the noodles may differ than that of those on the menu.

Food was very good. My wife had a noodles dish with chicken that was excellent. I had Korean bbq ribs which were also good. We ordered potstickers which came after our main meal. I think our waiter forgot to put the order in and was embarrassed because he never came back to our table. Someone else finished waiting on us. All in all a good meal though.

I paid $53 and ordered to-go. I came home to hardly any food! It was a long wait and you cant call because they never answer. Ever. The food was handed to me spilled in the bag. Everyone standing around the door are all angry too so its very hostile. The best curry in town, but I dont know if its worth all the other negative parts anymore.

The food is really good. We enjoyed it, the the services was bad. We made our order and got our food and the waitress disappeared for the remainder of our time. I paid and left no tip because I thought the service was bad. After a couple of days I checked my card and noticed that they charged me 10 dollars over the total of our meal. So seems they didn’t agree with me and added themselves a 10 dollar tip. Some people have no integrity and boundaries, just ridiculous.

Always great to be able to get vegan/vegetarian pho in town, plus Davorns is s delicious! Here are some new photos of the inside, was unable to get to the back area as I was getting a meal to go.The service was quick to greet me as I entered, quick to take my to go order, but the wait was almost an hour. I ordered pho to go and it took almost an hour to get my food, on a Thursday nonetheless. It might have been a fluke, but next time Ill order over the phone or just dine in if possible.Regardless, the food was correct and delicious, service time was slower then Id like. However, I would happily go again soon.

Second time going and when i say the food is amazing it is. But i ordered the fried shrimp appetizer and after ordering it and seeing it was 16 dollars which is about the same prize as a entree, i tried to change it but it was already dropped. Davorns is my favorite restaurant in the entire world. The food here is ALWAYS hot, delicious, spicy, and so, so flavorful. Ive never had food from any other Thai restaurants that is as delicious as the food here. The best dish on the menu, in my opinion, is the spicy noodles, and get them as spicy as you can! It is my favorite dish Ive ever eaten. I eat it once every two weeks or so, and I think about it the entire time in between. Ive had dreams about the spicy noodle. It occupies my waking and sleeping consciousness. It is THAT good. The staff here are friendly, and the woman, who I think is the owner, is always walking around, checking in with people, asking how things are, making the experience feel happy and fun. The only thing to keep in mind: This is a popular restaurant, which means it gets busy! Sometimes there can be a wait, but trust me, the food is WORTH IT, and the staff are always working their very hardest! Go there when you have time to have a leisurely meal, enjoy yourself, and youll have an amazing experience.

I have gone to Davorn’s many times and this will be the last time. The service was terrible. To start off the waitress had an attitude that got worse the longer we were there. We ordered drinks and received the drinks but no sweeten low for the tea. We asked 3 times before we finally got it. we had the same issue with refills, asked 3 or 4 times. One party member finally gave up and took water. We received all of our food except one dish. That dish didn’t arrive for 20 minutes. Everyone else was done before she got her food. On our way out I mentioned the issues to the manager and she made excuses and just didn’t care. One excuse was that the chicken teriyaki always takes longer. Fine, then the kitchen should plan accordingly. Second, was that she had to go to the store, what difference does that make?To top it all off I did have a party of 6 so gratuity was included with no options to deduct for the poor service.

This was our first time at the new location. First off, the hostess wasnt welcoming. She just walked us to the table, tossed the menus on it and left. The waiter came to take our order and we never saw him again. We ordered the spring rolls with no shrimp but it had shrimp. During the entire meal, we were never asked if we needed anything and we waited a long time before anyone came to give us the bill. We had ordered a meal to go and they had forgot about it. The food was just average and I love pad thai.

I didnt mind the 30 minute wait. But after sitting at our table for 1.5hrs and only being served the appetizer and only 1 refill on drinks a buzzer comes to clear the table because there is a lot of people waiting. We had to explain we never received our actual meals. So we decided to pay for what we did eat and leave. The manager began to make comments about their food is good and we have to understand it takes a long time to make (there was 4 of us and we ordered pho). We explained we arent trying to make problems as she was the one starting to get louder. She then told us that next time she will not allow us to leave without paying for the food we never received. The food was amazing! Fresh and good quality food will of course take some time to make so I understood why it took so long for my food to come. The new location was so modern and appetizing to the eyes. The waitresses welcomed me and family warmly and checked on us frequently to make sure we got what we wanted. Their pad Thai was the best I’ve ever tasted and their Chicken Fried Rice beats all the other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. I was never fazed by the prices because the food was just that good! For people who plan on coming to Davorn’s, I recommend on avoiding coming on Fridays and Saturdays because those days are the rush hours and the wait will be extra long. Even though the wait is long it will always be worth it in the end. Overall this is a great place to come and enjoy the delicious food and great costumer service! 🍜

Our family lives this restaraunt. It is very pupular, so plan on a waiting strategy for around 30 minutes. The food is excellent, but needs prep time. So order appetizers and enjoy each others company. Its is well worth the wait and the price.

Traveling through town and visiting family. They suggested this wonderful restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything from the spicy tuna roll which tasted very fresh to the salt and pepper shrimp. Spice level three was a medium level that was pleasant for those of you who enjoy spicy. I could probably kick it up to a four. The shrimp were meaty. The breading was not overwhelming. Perfectly balanced. If we lived here it would be a favorite.

Went there yesterday order a large pho they told me 15 to 20 minutes waited about 20 minutes nothing, finally after 40 minutes passed I went up and asked how much longer on my order gave them my name they went to check and said it had been ready for a while already. Had good options for vegetarian food. They had Thai food and Sushi, Pho as well. Panang curry had fish oil mixed in their sauce so we could not have it. Pad thai was a little different than I usually have had and they were a little sweet. Spicy noodles was delicious. Basil fried rice did not have much taste and were little burnt as well. Was told a 25 minute wait time and received food over 50 minutes later. I really love Thai and Vietnamese food, and Visalia has an abundance of places to try. So its quite the statement when I say that Davorns has the best pho in the city so far. Its really quite delicious.As of right now, I believe its still only take-out, which does change the quality of the pho just a bit. However, when you can get it in-restaurant and have it made to order, it is just the bomb.They also have a wide variety of amazing sushi! Waited a bit more and I had to stop another girl and ask her to check on my food to see what’s going on because my one year old and his dad was waiting in the car. She never came back too. I see a different girl come out with some food that was bagged and had no idea who it was for. She put it down on the counter and went through receipts and still couldn’t figure out who it was for. She asked another waitress and she said she didn’t know too and left. The lady that brought out the food opened the bag and saw my name on it. Handed to me, no apology, or “Thank you! Have a nice day”. By the time I got my food, it was a litttle after a hour from when I called in to make the order! They weren’t even busy during that time. Very disappointed. They need to work on their customer service. My baby was crying when I got back to the car. We’ll see about returning. Not anytime soon at least.

Food is pretty good but the wait time is horrible. Called 3 times no answer, came in to order and waited 45mins for my food. Waitress said they were bagging my food which took 15 minutes to do. Service is not good at all.

This place is delish, has good service, and is nice inside. I had pad see eu (GF) and it was really good. They offer super spicy stuff, but are very clear to offer you the choice of spicy level.

I got the pad thai. It was good with a perfect 4 out of 5 spice that made my mouth burn for my thai tea, but the noodles were too sticky and it was hard to eat it with chop sticks or a fork.

A great place to have lunch the food is really good but the service is horrible. Waitresses will walk past your table several times and completely ignore you. If you are under time constraints for lunch I would suggest not to go there.
