Wow! I randomly found this place and it’s fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem. Loved the asian fish and chips but unfortunately forgot to take a pic! Everything on the menu looked amazing and I will definitely be back to try something new.

Best restaurant in Pasadena!Got a variety of dishes because everything sounded yummy. I’ll write about the highlights although everything was delicious. OMG, the gnocchi was fantastic. Creamy and flavorful; I was sad I shared because I wanted it all. Barramundi was cooked to perfection, crispy skin and moist fish. Had a delicious and reasonably priced bottle of Spanish wine. Peach and blueberry crumble was a perfect balance between the crust and the fruit with the right amount of butter and sweetness to make me very, very happy.

Deluxe 1717 is a pure and hidden gem! Onil and his staff are working hard to make sure your experience is incredible, and ours was!The gnocchi was outstanding! The summer salad was fresh and flavorful, the chocolate pie was to die for. They also offer an extensive selection of wine and beer.5 stars all the way!! ♥️

The best kept secret in Pasadena. It’s my favourite restaurant in the area. The menu is wonderful and everything I’ve eaten was perfectly executed. Great wine list and offering is well priced. The service is excellent. Overall a wonderful experience and everyone I’ve recommended this place to has loved it. Give it a try.

Deluxe 1717 is a wonderful French bistro-style restaurant in Pasadena. I’ve been a few times and the food is gourmet quality. Tonight we had Watermelon Poke Salad - a perfect start to the meal on a warm August evening. Then the gnocchi - wow. The atmosphere is wonderful, and that’s due to the attentive, friendly staff and the graciousness and friendly face of the owner, Onil. He is a talented man and so sweet and lovely. This place is a gem. Seek it out and don’t forget the desserts - they’re all incredible!!

A delightful adventure awaits all who find this hidden gem. The understated street presence doesn’t prepare you for the elevated dining which is offered within. The menu is compact and diverse. The presentations are thoughtful and creative. Wait staff is lovely and engages on a perfect level.We love dining here!

I drove by this restaurant last Thursday and saw that it was packed. We decided to give it a try and LOVED it! The Cuban inspired cuisine incredibly fresh and flavorful. Our favorites were the crispy green beans and the Cuban bowl. The staff was incredibly kind and gracious. The genuinely wanted to share their delicious food with us and make sure we were happy and satisfied.

This is one of the best restaurants in Pasadena! The menu is wonderful and varied, with a great wine list. I had the Cuban Bowl and loved it! Owner Onil Chibas, manager Cat and one of the servers, Chris, provided really friendly and excellent customer service and I will be back. Sweet, quaint restaurant with indoor and outdoor tables. im so glad this place is in the neighborhood!

Love this local Pasadena gem! With an array of creative and delicious options for dinner and weekend brunch, prepare for a culinary adventure! Their cuban sandwich is a menu staple for a very good reason, and the quiche served at brunch is ridiculously light and fluffy; you really cant go wrong with any menu selection. They have a wine list thats approachable and complex in every way youd want a wine list to be. Menu items are frequently updated and often showcase seasonal ingredients. They also host phenomenal wine dinners with thoughtful and creative food and wine parings. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service and a wonderful experience. Their outdoor patio is also dog friendly, and there is easy and free street parking. We are all so lucky to have Deluxe 1717 as part of the neighborhood!

My husband and I eat here somewhat regularly because we love this local gem! Everything on the menu weve tried has been incredible, but my husband swears by the Cuban sandwich. Ive tried numerous dishes, and the Arepa Benedict with smoked salmon at brunch is one of my favorites. In addition to the food always being delicious, every person on staff has always been very friendly and helpful. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

The beloved quiche is a Sunday brunch staple, and todays star was undoubtedly the exquisite leek and mushroom quiche (quiche aux poireaux et champignons). The moment it arrived at the table, it was a feast for the senses. The combination of leeks and mushrooms lent a delicate onion-like flavor that perfectly complemented the creamy filling, housed in a light and flaky crust. Not a single bite was overbaked, showcasing the craftsmanship of the chef.This petite slice packed a punch of flavors, so rich and satisfying that a little goes a long way. Gone are the days of driving to San Marino to find a good quiche; Ive found a new Sunday brunch haven right here. Served alongside a steaming cup of Jones coffee, the two made a perfect pairing, leaving me already eager for my next visit.

Amazing food and service! This place is the restaurant gem of Pasadena. You could almost miss an experience here since it’s a bit inconspicuous, but make a point to visit. It’s a perfect ‘any occasion’ place. Relaxed if you want relaxed, and fancy if you want fancy. A good date spot, but also very family friendly. We bring our little one and have a glass of wine and delicious food outside and walk away so happy every time. Steven and the rest of the staff cultivate such a welcoming vibe; go once and you’ll keep coming back.

Great service and even better food! Went for brunch and the pork belly benedict was awesome. It was a little cold out but they have heaters and blankets which was real nice. A little on the expensive side but worth it.
