This place receives 2 stars because of parking and them killer Ube pancakes. Maybe I came at the wrong time??? Maybe I came right after a big rush??? No let’s see…..maybe I just should of followed my first mind and went to the Cheesecake Factory. I have had this place on my radar for over a year. I was excited that I was able to take my 93 old granny to breakfast for her birthday. Parking was okay no complaints and the Ube pancakes was why this place got 2 stars from me. Maybe I should of mentioned something to the table of managers that were sitting down eating. Who wants pastries that has flies flying around in the case! Who wants a drink from a can while dining in? Who wants to drink orange juice out of a to go cup while dining in?? It’s basically a fend for yourself place. No waitress, no host no nothing! I will never come to this location ever again, but I will try the other location. Maybe it will be totally different.

This place is always good. You order your food in line and they bring it out. The bakery is one of the best in the area. Fresh cookies and pastries so good! They also have coffees and mimosas. They have a chip and salsa bar included with every meal. Almost every dish has large portion sizes so it’s plenty of food you could share a plate. Highly recommend!

Denicas has the best breakfast in the area. Best breakfast burrito Ive had (big daddy burrito).Lets not even talk about the pastries. Just like anywhere in the Bay Area nowadays, this place is on the pricey side.

I usually have good experiences here, but lately it has been inconsistent. Weve been customers for the last 4 years and usually take family only for an occasion because their menu has gotten spendy! not 20-30$/person, realistically it is 30-40$/person.Food - mom and I got some boiled eggs Benedict, not 1 but 3 soft boiled eggs on each plate. Not poached as it states on menu. No runny eggs you would expect on an eggs benny. Sad. Chef should not have served them. Chorizo was super dry and overcooked as well. My parents received each half a plate of bland fried breakfast potatoes - unbalanced for 30$ breakfast entrees and we didnt eat them. The kalua hash was basically too many large cubes of their breakfast potatoes tossed w dry kalua pork. Not at all a hash, and it was also super overcooked. Some of our english muffins were too hard to eat, and some had not been toasted at all. The kitchen has gotten inconsistent and uninspired. The best thing today was chips and salsa.Service - for the price of their lattes and breakfast entrees, the service is not worth it anymore for us to come here. Grab and refill your own water and coffee. Stand in a long line to recite your entire tables order at the register with impatient, assuming, unwelcoming staff. Folks fighting for tables to seat themselves. Usually, this business model works well, but it has reduced the joy of brunch, tipping for food runners and overspending on a stack of pancakes. Save yourselves a nice family Sunday morning and go to Black Bear diner. Its not a chill brunch here. Staff dont look happy here. I asked for lids for salsa and instead of refilling for the entire establishment, she gave me 1 lid.Atmosphere - if you sit outside, make sure your table is level or else all your food and drinks will slide off just like my familys did. They recently spent money to print kind messages on their napkins, which are also posted around their walls. Id rather have that money passed back onto the customers with one person solely walking around offering refills, thats Atmosphere. Thats hospitality. Not printed napkins.

First time back in over a year. Table service had been replaced with order and sit.Placed order, given utensils and coffee cups. Found an empty table and waited for someone to come around with the coffee pot.....nope. Go fetch coffees and return. Oh my! Ive had firehouse coffee weaker than this; like its been cooking for HOURS. Asked checkout person if I could get a soda instead. She had to ask the supervisor, but did receiveone.Food was plentiful. I had the pork hash with scrambled eggs. Far too many potatoes under the eggs and pulled pork. Wife had BLT, which she said was underwhelming. Will try this again as we were finishing up a plate of chocolate or Nutella banana crapes with vanilla ice cream was delivered to the next table.p

One if the few places to enjoy a hefty breakfast outdoors in the morning sun around here. super clean and the presentation was great. They do not have a host! Make sure you walk up to the registers to order. Once there you’re all set. Lots of teeny singing birds so get your Snow White brekkie on before the rush with a 7:30 seating 🐤🥞 the parking lot started to fill up by the time we left at 8:30.

I love coming here, the variety of food is amazing, but its definitely pricey. Personally I always get the chorizo burrito and I like to add avocado, though adding avocado is expensive. Their salsa verde is amazing as well. SO much flavor

The biggest takeaway from this experience I have is that their food is extremely expensive for what it is. I ordered the California eggs Benedict. We were told the portion sizes are large, but were disappointed to see that they seem to be average portion sizes; not small, not large. The food itself wasnt bad, but wasnt great tasting either, again average. For $20 I was expecting much better food quality and service. I definitely wont be returning here.

Food was superb! Staff was helpful and attentive. This is a breakfast spot mostly and some lunch/brunch. Pricey. But I believe the quality fits what you pay for. Ordered the eggs Benedict. Eggs were poached well, creamy, and buttery. Potatoes were soft and crunchy and brown and crispy. Got my meal to go. Was pleasantly surprised when I found a bag of chips and salsa! Able to eat there as well.
