This grocery store is always so organized and clean. It less crowded than stater brothers. The produce seems fresher. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the customer service. Acknowledging and a thank you at the end would not hurt.

And I really like Vons...It seems a little more work to get into the Vons parking lot then need be, yet its there, as well as the usual surrounding smaller stores smoke shops fast food etc.What I stumbled onto was great prices, deals, sales, at grocery outlet that opened up just down the street! A new store with nice, spacey and plenty of parking.Sits by itself so Im in and out!Try it! I was very pleasantly surprised!Easy going staff keep the visit pleasurable!

I visit the Town Center for multiple reasons They just added the new Burger King 🤗...(Ill do reviews on Burger King when I actually try it )The grocery store VONS is pretty stocked with supplies and clean. It still carries a lot of the specialty Products that Vons Pavilion used to carry back in the days when most Vons/Vons Pavilions were around. I like that The only downside at this store is its small inside, theres not too many tellers at the checkout stands and the parking lot is crowded. The upside is that you cant go wrong with Vons. Vons gas stations prices are really low. They have a UPS Store at the shopping center, McDonalds, a bakery, a couple of small boutiques and a bank...Reviews for all will be posted soon when I visit them.
Have only shopped here once, but will return to shop again. Appears to be clean and appropriately staffed.

I have shopped this store for over 25 years. I still prefer to shop at either of the Ralphs Grocery stores in Palm Springs or at the Winco Store in Indio where the prices are great. And for bulk shopping Costco is the best over all.
The deli service worker is great here. She is so nice and helpful and went out of her way to assist me.
Nice inside. A little expensive which is typical for Vons, but a lot less traffic or customers then the stater bros. So its quicker and easier there.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon there and we both were truly amazed at just how beautiful it was. The rooms are definitely roomy, and the mineral water spas are fantastic. This is definitely a place my wife and I would recommend to everyone!!!!

Big parking lot and so many business options
Stores are ok. But this shopping area is a little sketchy because of trash, dirtyness and homeless/drug addicts walking the area. It really needs to be cleaned up and overhauled a bit. Id still go to shop, but just have your wits about you...
Very nice town with fantastic views of surrounding mountains. Plenty of grocery stores, fast food franchises, movie theater etc.

The only issue for me, as a woman alone, is the several vagrants in some of the shops and doorways. But there was an increase in security personnel. Really helps. I feel its trying to be addressed. I know its hard at the moment but if youre afraid to go how do we get back to normal?

Love Vons . A little bit more expensive than Staters but always clean, friendly staff. Love the deli.
Pastries are low quality, including bread. Vegetables and fruits are not fresh and they have extremely limited selection of pasta.
Vons store is one of the closest and convenient grocery places we have in desert hot springs. They do offer a lot of good savings on selected items, but also better if you download their app and would get more savings. The store is very clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. There is a lot of different variety of stores for all the needs.

I always go to Vons when I need to grab something last minute or in a rush. I get in and out with no problem. What My patience and tolerance can not take be the super long lines and slow check out of another large market in town.... And nooooo Im not talking about the new grocery store by pizza hut those folks are nice over there.😁
I feel the landlord needs to do something about their property too many homeless camping around everywhere so those of us who have jobs are now beim an a****** Im forced to deal with them being threatened or harmed in some kind because they take out their life situation on everyone else as if its our fault theyre in their situation please get security for this location and clean it up I also feel that the city of Desert Hot Springs is doing a poor job

This place is always busy, crowded, and chaotic. Caution for pedestrians and ill-equipped drivers. The McDonalds entry is dangerous turning in. Their drive thru line impacts your ability to drive in and through safely.
Many cars in this parking lot, getting worse with long lines, unavailable products and always crowded. Lots of homeless live on the property they have nowhere else to go
Most of the stores here are nice to shop at, Vons, Carols, and The UPS Store to name just a few. Theres a few fast food restaurants too, like Subway and McDonalds.Of course the new construction is also going on, so even more will be opening soon. This will actually be adding to the reason I cant give this shopping center 5 stars.This center sits right against Desert Springs Middle School. A block in the other direction is Two Bunch Palms Elementary School. It brings a lot of traffic right into the path the children walk 5 days a week. Ive seen the close calls increase drastically over the last 10-15 years as that are built up over the last 30 years.
This is the only store me have been to and seen kids running up and diown thru the food. The display of food is very colorful. Very large fresh flower section that looks like a garden.
Nice shopping area. Only issue is homeless folks gather around this area from time to time. Managers and shops around there try to keep them from loitering. Never near as bad as other locations in DHS.
I usually notice that there are a lot of shady-looking people at this center, but not so much as the center that the Stater Bros is in. The strangers who lurk here and arent shopping, using the ATM, buying food, or entering the stores seem harmless, but could make a person feel uncomfortable.There arent many stores here, though, and I dont go here much except to use the Wells Fargo ATM or go to the smoke shop nearby, so I dont have much to say about this center.
This shopping center is a place to miss. It has trash floating around each business. You can not enter some businesses due to people sleeping on the sidewalks or by entrances with their belongings spread out everywhere. You cant enter a business without at least two or three people asking you for money. The parking lot is dark and just creepy!
Individuals complaining about homeless people after a two year global pandemic and in a town without a single shelter need to re-evaluate their own worth and value to society. A hint: it’s a lot less than you personally believe.

Love Vons it just needs to be lifted up with the style now they need fish which they dont sell I guess very much and if any at all the people are awesomely nice but the store you need some cosmetic stuff done its really run down looking they need to put some money out on it and matter fact the parking lots prettier than the inside of the store but its a great store I love it great people great management it just it wouldnt hurt him to build up the store and I love their bakeries I love their styles

Nice place lots of dirt and desert
The pharmacy tech led me to believe Johnson & Johnson vaccine was no longer available and there was a nationwide shortage which turned out to be completely and untrue, because 24 hours later I went to another place and I was able to get my booster J&J booster shot.Pharmacy employee should never mislead people on availability when it comes to Covid health concerns, completely unacceptable attitude.Luckily I ended up by mistake early to my appointment by one day and was turned away, also with an 85 year old man looking for the Covid vaccine.The 85-year-old man could barely make it to the counter to ask, but the pharmacy tech turned them away because he didnt have an appointment, disgusting....I ended up getting my Johnson & Johnson booster from Desert Oasis Health Center 24 hours later.Needless to say I canceled my appointment..Terrible service to the elderly.
I only go for my favorite bagger named river. He is the most friendly person ever! My issue is outside. Mcdonald line can get so long iT traps you in your parking spot. But the customer service is always amazing. Thanks for the enjoyable inside. Outside can use some work.
Store is always clean. Friendly staff. They have expanded their plant based selection a lot. I recommend this store for a wide variety and shorter lines. I have been going there for over 16 years.

As i walked in the security guard was swearing on his phone next to the entrance. He apperantly did not care about if any of the kids walking by could hear him.Then the female cashier on lane 4 was rude to the lady in front of me and when i came up and said hi she had an attitude and just rolled her eyes. I said i hope you have a good day. She just looked at me.I didnt say anything, and most of us wont say anything.This is how businesss lose customers. I will drive out of my way not to come to this location.I hope management reads these reviews and looks at cameras.It was 315pm when i arrived and 325pm on Jan 6th when i left the store.
Being that we are in the middle of niwhere, Lol. This shopping center has almost everything you need. Groceries, Fuel, fast food, a tire and auto repair shop, a 99c type store, Martial Arts studio.You can really cover most of what you need in this shopping center.
Managers here are very helpful. Cashiers are pleasant. Product availability is pretty good.Love that they are remodeling.

Decent amount of shopping places and fast food.
Parking can sometimes be difficult during peak times. Handicapped parking is usually okay. Handicapped parking is available at beginning of each aisles if the spaces right in front are taken. Lots of traffic during peak so be watchful for other cars and pedestrians. McDonalds drive thru line sometimes backs up quite a ways into parking lot. Driveways can be hectic. Vons gas station is frequently busy as well.

Above average grocery store. Fresh baked bagels and bread daily. When Im in DHS this is my first choice of markets.
Its not really this places fault but the traffic is horrendous getting into McDonalds or over to del Taco is a battleground people do not respect the cones that are set out to tell people not to come into McDonalds from that driveway I did have a police officer tell me when he saw people doing it that is actually can still allow what theyre doing it causes gridlock but anyways other than that if you dont go near that little intersection by McDonalds its okay
Vons has everything for your family dinner plans. Also, using the card and watch your totals decrease with a giddy feeling watching the savings happen on screen while you watch. Then drive over to the Vons gas station on the same property and use your points from the Vons card to lower the price per gallon of Vons gas. I have personally saved 80 cents per gallon using the Vons card. Another giddy feeling when you see your savings at the gas pump.
The only reason I give this store a 4-star right now is because theyre in the middle of remodeling so its kind of a mess but not their fault.

I was here to stay at a spa hotel and I stopped for some groceries and I was approached by 2 people on my way in and two on my way out for money. There was also a man leaning on my car to ask me for a ride in exchange for a hit. Hire security before you get sued or someone gets hurt.

The Vons always seems to have less customers when I like to go, sometimes it is just easier. Let me tell ya, the Staters Bros. shopping center is always jammed packed with folks. I love both centers actually just depends on what Im in the mood for.

Theres garbage everywhere the trees now were not down because of the storm and theres homeless just sitting everywhere passed out on the sidewalks I dont even want to refill my water theres one that carries her dog around by its neck and just drags it its disgusting just moved here and Ill probably just stop going up to this store area

2023-08-01 02:31:38I visited the Del Taco late one night and was rear ended in the drive thru by a young girl whos license and insurance was expired. Then she fled the scene of the accident. So my experience is not good at all here.

2021-12-24 08:10:45Overstock is Like going to a Ross department store, they have very famous name brands they sell at overstock in Desert Hot Springs California for more than 70% offThe high end department stores prices… They don’t just sell clothes, they sell housewares, bedding, shoes, makeup, Christmas Decorations, small furniture and appliances for the home..The owner of the company is super amazing, he’s very friendly and knowledgeable helpful and courteous.. He actually will come out and help his staff when they are swamped with customers, he is a very down to earth business Owner…I really appreciate business owners that are like that ..My husband and I were business owners as well a 3 time business Owner in Northern California for over 15 years..So we greatly appreciate him and his down to earth attitude he has with his fellow employees….With all that being said, everyone who hasn’t came into the storeCalled “ Overstock “ Needs right away… !!Let’s all support OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES ..!!!
