I ate here a long time ago and feel in love! I have never forgotten and it took too long to return... Ive tried our local places.... Modesto, Oakdale, Jamestown, Senora need this beautiful authentic food! It brought me back to New York through my taste buds!!! Im so happy right now! I had no idea I could do this much damage.

Had a early dinner there, so we were the only family. Atmosphere need more lights as it was very much dull. Its a mostly family operated restaurant, so service was good. Whatever we ordered came pretty fast . Out of all good the best was chhole bhature and naan basket. Veg Manchurian and Paneer curry had similar sweet taste. Paneer was soft . Samosa chat need more flavor as a chat . We were charged extra to have an empty plastic glass to share Mango lassi between kids 😔.

My last visits to Dhaba Restaurant were an absolute disaster. The chicken was tasteless dry and chewy . Its evident theyve stopped caring about food quality.The spice levels were a total trainwreck. I asked for something specific and got the complete opposite. Its like they dont even listen.And the biryani, it was a nightmare. Overwhelmingly spicy to the point of being inedible. We had no choice but to throw it away. The prices have shot up too.Dhaba Restaurant has hit rock bottom. I won’t go back there again

The food here was simply delicious! The service was great and the workers kept coming over to check in on us, making sure we were enjoying the food. The food came out fast and all the dishes we ordered were spectacular. Even the Mango Lassi was thick and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving for some Indian food!

Hadnt been here since 2019. Lunch thali has jumped in price from $8.99 up to $12.99 for 2 entree items. My entrees were quite cold. When I pointed this out to the server, she just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. In the past they used to fill up the condiment cups with yogurt and dessert. Now only half- full. There are other good places in Tracy that actually care about the customer.

Walk-in place for fresh Indian food! We ordered Navratan korma and Punjabi paratha. They mentioned while placing order that it will take approx 20mins but we were served with hot fresh meal! Will definitely visit again when in the area. They do not have dine-in but there are a few tables and chairs outside.

I’ve been ordering takeout from Dhaba for years. I always get the same entree’s and they’ve always came with rice. Tonight I placed a large order for my family, 2 butter chicken, 6 garlic naan, 2 fish pakoras, 1 chicken tandoori, 1 chana masala, 1fish masala, 1 saag paneer $140. Portion sizes are way smaller than they were. I realize operating costs have gone up but I should at least get the same size portions that I did in the past. I even tipped for my takeout order! Guess I’ll find another Indian restaurant for when my family wants Indian.

I and my cousin family took our kids to the childrens park, after they played we thought to have some food at Food Truck. But it got late and we did not get the food. So my family thought of going to have the food at home. Then I said can we try the Indian Restaurant which is Tracy. Then all agreed and went to this place.1. Food is Good, Naan/Bread is good and curries are tasty. Mango Lassi is not great..but ok.2. Serving waiter was very patience and gave a very good service to us.3. Food was on-time.Note: Just be careful while paying the bill, when I noticed they have added extra item to them bill which was not us. Walked in and its a real authentic Indian cuisine. Staff really friendly and atmosphere feels welcoming. They have mango drinks which are awesome. If you have never been to an Indian restaurant try this one instead of going to McDonalds.

Tried 2 entrée meal.When you look at the menu, you ultimately feel 2 entrée meal is the best option based on item priced individually. But when you see the plate, you don’t feel that though.You get 2 curries, 1 bowl of rice, 1 mini cup of yogurt (i got hair in it), and 1 mini cup of sweet with full Naan and salad on side.Naan is fresh and rest all are cold enough.

The food and Nan bread are tasty but lately it feels like a RIP OFF. They used to be fair with their portions and price but now they are stingy. We ordered our food and the lady barely put on be piece of onion 2 pieces of cucumber and 3 threads of lettuce. The chai tea that we ordered was almost half empty. Mind you its like 3+ per cup. Ordered naan and bhindi, it seems they prepared bhindi sabji most out of bhindi heads that’s usually chopped off. Other half was stringy and hard to chew. I guess someone should send there a food inspection officer. Ultimate shame for cooking food out of garbage vegetables!

This place does not even deserve one star. We went to this place last week we were not even welcomed, We didnt know we had to sit or stand and wait for them to ask us to sit. Place is not clean at all. Not well maintained. We ordered Roti which was super hard and Baingan Bharta was so bad, we never had such Baingan Bharta which tasted like that. We also made a mistake of ordering Veg Biriyani because we didnt want to order anymore Roti. Veg Biriyani was like BisiBele Bath, sticky rice which tasted so not like veg biriyani. They also have increased the price for such bad food. I would never ever go to this place again in my life. I came across this place on Yelp and after seeing the great reviews I had to try this place.I walked inside and was welcomed by no one and a dark room, I thought the place was closed but then a lady appeared and greeted me. She took my order (not the best customer service but its alright Im taking this to go) and told me it would be a 25-30 min wait. I ordered the veggie samosas, mixed pakora, two orders of tikki masala extra spicy, and a order of butter chicken and the best part is it only came out to $51!!! Feeding a family for $50 is a win in my books! The food was all amazing, this by far is the best tikki masala I have ever had!

I used to enjoy coming here, but the take out proportions have gotten significantly smaller, the food lacks taste, and the service was not the greatest. I asked for a red sauce and the woman was giving me a hard time saying that it only came with appetizers. Its a take out place. We got Malai kofta, paneer butter masala, naan all the items are good. Kadai paneer is not up-to the mark it can be better. Malai kofta is very good but service can be improved. They take lot of time to prepare food even when the orders are placed online or over the phone. It gets pretty busy on friday nights and weekends and if you are not there in time to pick up food the front desk people give your food to someone else waiting at the counter. Service has to be improved a lot.

Stay completely away from this establishment. We LOVE this place! Ordered Doordash one time last year and rediscovered it last week. I’ve been twice this week already. The food is delicious. My personal favorite is their aloo gobi, veggie samosas, garlic naan, and mango lassi. Their chicken dishes are amazing as well. Medium is quite spicy (and I eat a lot of Indian food, so that’s saying a lot!), so just keep that in mind when ordering.

Since last 1.5 years this was my familys favorite restaurant. We used to dine sometime and also take out almost every week. Initially service was ok, place was clean and food was great for price.But since they opened their second location quality and service started detriouting. But after todays lunch experience I am not stepping in.We saw bugs roaming around on coaches, even another fellow dinner too observed and took picture. Dined here on a number of occasions and was very satisfied with my meal.If you come in for lunch they usually have a selection up from ready which includes their Nan bread which is very good and goes great with whatever you ordered or just plain.My favorite is their butter chicken over white rice. The chicken is prepared well and there is enough curry spices to make the meal enjoyable.This is very good place to dine in but arrive early because of the limited seats available. Obviously, they are oblivious of the fact that this is unlawful. $4 for 2 cocktail samosa is the new pricing. They also charged me for 4 nans vs 3 I ordered. We visited Dhaba Indian restaurant in Tracy and felt ashamed of being called Indian or authentic. The food was cheaply made with almost everything having the same taste as they used the same spices, I believe. We bought three dishes and couldnt eat even 1/4 of anything. My wife refused to take home as this type of food should not be eaten. I am not sure what sort of people arecalling it authentic indian. I dont like many other Indian restuatants but some of the dishes are edible or tasty. For instance, Shalimar restaurant in Dublin or Fremont might be oily or whatever but the food has real taste. Id request the managers at Dhaba to download basic recipes from yourtube and try to prepare food that is not a factory formula. Sorry to be so blunt but it was a bad experience.

Usually buy food from here, but when they get busy the quality of the dishes goes down. Butter chicken was so watery and not thick the way it is supposed to be. Nan was not cooked properly, you could taste the dough. Also they didnt remove the skin of chicken so the tandoori and butter chicken pieces were chewy like bubble gum. This is the best Indian restaurant east of the Bay Area. By far some of the best Indian food Ive ever had. Weekdays and weekends they have a great 1-3 item pre-fixed menu in a cafeteria-style with all the standards on it. Their Navratan Korma is fantastic and their butter chicken has just a hint of spiciness. I also highly recommend their wraps, with a choice of fish, shrimp or chicken wrapped in delicious naan with lettuce, tomatoes and a creamy mayo-based dressing. We switch up the curries now and then, but the chana masala and mango chicken are my favorites. My parents have been getting the veggie biryani rice, on top of ordering white rice. The biryani goes well with the tandoori chicken, while I find the white rice doesnt compete with the curries.The restaurant looks small, but it can accommodate, I would say, two parties of 8 at the same time.
