2023-08-25 18:55:30Food was delicious and authentic! Best braised beef noodle soup I’ve ever had. Each dish was great and surprisingly filling. The best part of my experience, however, was the phenomenal service! Our server, Ekim, was very friendly and attentive, giving us recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. It was our first time and he, as well as the other staff, made us feel very welcomed. Will be coming back!

2023-10-10 22:52:07Best Lunch in LA! The pork dumplings are a staple! This restaurant has figured out something special. The price is not even close to what the experience was for us. We were shocked when we got the bill.We were so blown away by the food from start to finish! This is a must visit place if you are in the area and looking for a lunch spot!Highly recommend

2023-07-29 21:23:10Had to make reservation a month in advance for a weekday service, was told they are moving to two-wk reservation now.5 stars for food because their dumplings and noodle dishes are top notch!Dining room services also deserves 5 stars, our server was friendly and resourceful. The dishes came out quickly too.I do have criticisms for their host(s). We came to them and said hello then told them our reservation time. We were greeted with very unfriendly attitude (not even hello???!)They just rudely told us to wait on the side. I still do not understand why guests with reservations need to wait for 10-15mins to be seated with no explanation while there are many hosts just standing still.

2023-09-26 21:30:24This branch of Din Tai Fung is located inside the Westfield mall. They did not take reservations, and we had to wait for a little over an hour for our table (we went around 1130am) and it was more than worth it!We ordered the vegan steamed dumplings, vegetarian spicy sesame sauce noodles, asian rice cake stir fry and steamed buns for dessert. We also ordered the spicy garlic sauce that you need to order as an extra charge. The food was brilliant! That special sauce is just mind blowing! It makes everything taste even better!I would highly recommend that everyone try this place!

2023-11-26 16:52:54I think din tai fung can officially be considered my favorite restaurant based sheerly on the number of times Ive been here. Ive been to DTF more than Ive ever been to a McDonalds which is pretty much located on every corner, so that says something (even though their food offerings are completely different, just saying id rather go to DTF opposed to a convenient spot).DTF is a favorite because they have options for every diet. Meat eater, pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan. Its a great restaurant for parties that have dietary differences without anyone feeling left out or forced to only order sides, unless youre a picky eater and only like chicken fingers and fries or something along those lines, no judgement, just saying.Im a huge fan of their vegan dumplings and vegan sesame noodles. They are a must. Not to mention their cucumber appetizer. I dont even like cucumbers but I get them here every time.Their customer service is also something that adds to the dining experience. Everyone says hi when you walk in, and everyone says goodbye on your way out.I love this place and really hope they open up a location closer to the East Bay in the future. I only come here when I have time on the weekdays because the wait can take a really long time, up to 2 hours sometimes... But its worth it in my opinion.

2023-11-15 02:59:302nd time here had a reservation at 4:30 but came early and they were able to squeeze me in two hours early which is greatly appreciated. I’m a sucker for spicy wontons and this hit the spot for me. The fried rice was very good too. Overall everything was fresh. The ribs were a little too sweet for me but my wife liked it. The service was excellent and atmosphere here is elegant and modern look, given that this place has been opened for a while that’s a good thing.

2023-12-07 03:59:38Oh my God. The most beautiful experience on a spontaneous dining whim. Flynn was so nice and he recommended the best choices and is THE MAN! I got the Lychee martini after he expertly explained the total options. I got the crab pork bao and the braised beef noodle soup. Best experience. No other dining experience can replicate something like this.

2023-09-25 00:26:02Food was excellent, service wasn’t great but we were at the bar so didn’t have a waiter formally. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Enjoyed the new dessert we tried as well. This location, like them all, can get very busy with 45-60min wait times. Make sure to ask about bar seating since that was a 5 min wait instead of a 45 min wait.

2023-09-26 22:19:38Difficult to get a reservation for peek times (weekend evenings) but worth the wait if you have to. Service itself is prompt, I credibly friendly and they were very helpful in explaining the process and suggesting some dishes and how to enjoy them.We loved every dish we ordered, we quite literally ate till we could no more as we couldn’t let any food go to waste. The peach lychee martini was DELICIOUS, with that said, be aware they’re dangerous because I could not taste a sip of alcohol.Looking forward to trying more dishes next time but I will be reordering the martini and wontons!!
