Apparently chicken is only halal here. Better you check yourself for other kind of meats.I tried chicken shawarma with rice, hummus and falafel.I also tried baklava crumble.Juices are fresh and very good here. I tried orange + carrot and I really liked it.Price is relatively a bit on the higher side.

Second time: I was dreaming about how good the food was and had to go back a second time and man I was even more impressed with the 5-star service. This time I tried the falafel in pita and the Backlava crumble and they both smacked! I’m so glad I could eat here during my short visit and hope I can come back! 1000% recommend!First time: Listen I had to leave a stellar review as soon as I was done eating. It was too freaking good, flavorful, filling, and so worth the price!I got the chicken shawarma over rice with falafel and veggies and everything was just so good down to the array of sauces they provide I couldn’t believe it!While the chicken was nice the falafel was definitely the star of the show.To top it off, staff was friendly and patient in explaining their menu.It’s appears unassuming but it’s a gem of a restaurant!

Medium salad has huge portions, appreciated how the salad was mixed in the takeout container, and not all ingredients piled separately. the sumac lamb was pretty dry, found the veggies far too oily though and the fries were soggy and unseasoned (no salt). pita chips were fried but soggy instead of crispy.

Visited recently after a very long time. Glad to see they have maintained the quality of food. Was impressed with the serving size of the grill option with Falafel and rice. It came with 2 sides and we went with Tabouli and fries.They provided a few condiments along with the meal. Liked the mint chutney and that went nicely with the rice and falafel.Also ordered a beet and apple juice to go with the meal. Their fresh juices are a must try and taste amazing.I am coming back much sooner this time 😀

Food is good and reasonably priced. Got a medium salad with 2 sides (soup and rice), falafel was included for $17. A lot of food, would be enough for dinner and next day lunch. Ordering was easy and food was ready in less than 10 min.

Definitely healthy fare. I like that. Wraps and salads, some other stuff. Order at the counter, get a number, pick up food and sit at community tables. Gets very busy during weekday lunch. There’s a parking lot next door you can use because their small one gets filled fast. Get there before 11:50am!Can vouch for the beef shawarma wrap being tasty. The wrapper is kind of dry though. I liked it much better with the red sauce that comes on the side.You also get two sides and I really like the garlic dip. Not cheap so expect to $20 for lunch.

Was much better than I expected (not that I expected bad). Good chicken shawarma wrap, and both the hummus and falafel are probably some of the best youll find in the bay area (behind only Sunrise Deli). Excellent baba ghanoush too. I tried the date smoothie as well, and it was good, but only faintly tasted like dates.

We got our food to go because it was windy but if its nice weather its great to sit outside. If its packed it can be really noisey.The salad is my favorite and today I had with Chicken Shawarma, humas and vegetables. The fries are popular. Wraps are great too. Everything has a good flavor and falafels are green inside but very good.Comes with 4 sauses: yogurt, mint, spicy, tahiniMake sure to get utensils and napkins if you plan to make a picnic out of it.

I’m clearly not a Mediterranean food expert but this was truly good (and generous!)Super yummy hummus, pita bread, tabouli, and all the rest too. This only thing that I got a chance to take a picture of is their baklava 🤤 I mean this so good… and if I got time to take pictures it is just because I was really full from the rest and I needed a rest 😆Bonus point too: My kids loved it! And they are picky! They didn’t eat everything but they tried (and liked) stuff that they wouldn’t have had. So yep I’ll order again ☺️

This is one of these fast food place that is unique to the US. I just loved it. The food was good, not too greasy, very fresh, very tasty. I wanted to go back there the minute I left.Do not expect a high class setting. You sit on wood make chairs and tables. Tables are shared. But ambiance is interesting. Not so many places for seating. Better come at a time it is not too crowded. You see people cooking, and they are many. One of the best healthy lunch options in Sunnyvale and Mountain View area. This one in particular offers both dine in and take out options making it great for lunch. Staff is great!One thing to note is that the Chicken and lamb are halal but beef is NOT halal here, I believe this is true of all DishNDash locations per the website.

It was really amazing!!! I went there 4 times a week for to go. It was the best Middle Eastern food I have ever had. Whatever you eat is fresh and delicious, but the lamb wrap with crispy falafel and soup are especially recommended.The kind and friendly staffs are also amazing. I really miss this place! The portion sizes are generous and the best part is that it’s halal.Really liked the sumac and regular chicken shawarma, which we tried with the rice and freekeh combos. These are complete meals in themselves and I appreciated the attention to detail with the sides - including the tabouleh, pita, hummus and the four glorious sauces - including the green chutney which was my favorite. They also have this mind blowing white garlic special sauce. Service was quick. The food is enough to last you two meals.Also really loved their coconut smoothies which were fresh. Really hit the spot after the hot and spicy meal.

Definitely my favorite Middle Eastern fast-food place around here. I’ve ordered takeouts many times and I’ve never been disappointed. Their falafel tastes great, I love their hummus, salad and hot tahini sauce. 😋😋 They have amazing juices too. So yummy! Been wanting Mediterranean food since I moved back to the Central Valley. Had a road trip but wasn’t that hungry. I was about to skip this spot and go to another but I’m so happy I did not. The veggie salad was amazing. The veggies grilled and so much flavor. Even to the salad and love the mint. Sides where all yummy. Garlic dip is a win for me. Will for sure come back again. Staff friendly even the cook was nice. Restaurant was clean and well maintained even with the CDC regulations. Food is fresh and the smoothies and fresh juice are yummy. Lintel soup OMG was the best I ever had! Oh even the restrooms in the back well kept and cleaned. They have a schedule of cleaning and check every 30 minutes. I say for sure try and don’t just over look this place.

They have the softest Falafel you can find and I would also recommend trying out one of their fresh juices - especially the Citrus Spice.Dish n dash has definitely become my new favorite go to for middle eastern fast food. All the food tastes really fresh and delicious. The chicken shawarma and falafel are the best. I also really like their style your dish feature where you can basically get extra toppings added to your wrap. The Citrus Spice juice is the best detox drink.

Decent Mediterranean food. I am a frequent to this restaurant. Really fresh and plenty of side options. They could add more chicken to chicken shawarma, found tiny portions of chicken for a $16 meal. Also, it’s more of a to-go place. Outdoor dining doesn’t have very effective heaters for cold.

Came here on a Tuesday dinner and they have a really interesting popup store like experience. You order at the front and then go sit down and they have a lot of covered outdoor seating with heated lamps which is a plus.Good:Super good Mediterranean food here - I got the grill hummus plate with babaganoush and falafel and with the chicken shwarma - this is definitely hands down my favorite combo. There are ample portion sizes and you definitely can bring some home too.The service is fast ~5 minutes and the food is pretty cheap if you just get the base options based on portion size.Bad:Definitely was still cold even with the heating lamps so would recommend bringing layers. The casual ambiance is good for a casual ambiance, but definitely not the prettiest place you can go eat.Overall enjoyed my experience here and felt like if I was in a rush Id come again to try other things on the menu.

Start by choosing the carb, rice, freekeh, pita, wrap (lavash) or salad. Then choose a meat or veggie combo. Try the lamb or beef kebab, or the veggie combo if you enjoy grilled vegetables. I ordered the Chicken Msakhan on a salad with added avocado and eggplant. Drink order of a citrus spice beverage. Taste was on par with the best Mediterranean restaurants of the type. However, the pricing scheme is overpriced at best - salad add ons are charged per and drink is ridiculously expensive. Not to mention that the less than helpful staff cited a +$3 charge for not adding orange in an orange + pineapple drink. -1 star for pricing, -1 star for experience.

First time visiting and have no complaints.While not specifically Turkish or Greek you get food that is common to both/either culture.The chicken Sharma salad was very tasty. Chicken was succulent and tasted of Sumac and was served with a corn & edamame salsa that was yum.The meal comes with some pita bread slices and you are offered some sauces ( I chose tahini & garlic) which were both excellent.Pricing was fair, food was good and takeout service was fast.

Food was good, not fabulous but a solid choice for a quick bite. Two of us got pita with lamb shawarma and one of us got beef shawarma. The two side items are an extra fee which makes the whole meal a bit more expensive for what you get.The table was sticky but I suspect its just because they are using the wrong type of cleaner for the tables (or if its a diluted cleaner it needs more water) not because it was dirty.

I got the veggie wrap which came with two sides— I chose french fries and hummus. The food was very tasty, and the hummus side came with two mini pieces of pita bread. My favorite sauces are the chipotle and the tahini. My only complaint is that there was too much olive oil in my order.The value for the platter is excellent - it is priced at $14.50 and the quantities are large/ very filling. I would say the platter could easily satisfy two adults with a moderate appetite. Next time, I will be splitting with a friend!

My favorite place to get dinner when Im in Sunnyvale. So much flavor!!! Next time Ill get some photos. Love the salad with roasted vegetable topping. Tasty sides: lentil soup, baba ghanoush, hummus. The sauces are excellent!If you dont need to eat GF, the salad is topped with zaatar chips that my husband says are very good. My family likes the meat dishes.This is primarily a to-go restaurant but there are enough tables to eat in.

Menu seems limited but allows for a lot of customization. We had to place the order and go find a table that we liked. They would call the token then you go and collect your orderThe food quantity is ample (more than what we needed). Taste excellent. Four of us ordered different items, and all of us liked what we got.They have outdoor and indoor seating - more like picnic tables in a park. The weather was excellent so we could dine outside.

Dont like parking situation - I understand places getting crowded and busy but to me thats no excuse for a sour face and demeanor! I dont expect customer service type people to always be in the mood and I definitely think they have the right to have offdays as far as mood goes but I think you should do the bare minimum to at least look like the customer isnt a bother to you! The girl working the register at lunch today was a sour patch kid - her words were thank you, how many I help you but her face, vibe, and body language was the exact opposite!!! Great experience here. I really enjoyed my lunch, beef kabob with rice and salad . Their green (herb) sauce is excellent . I added this sauce not just to my salad but to meat and rice too. I thought this place was okay, but not amazing. I think it really depends what you get. When I went, I was there with my mom and my fiance. The idea is that you pick the meat and then pick the way it is served. I got the wrap, my fiance got the rice, and my mom got the salad.In the end, we decided that the wrap is definitely the way to go. The rice and salad were both pretty mediocre and not worth the price. Our overall opinion of this place is that it is a little bit overpriced for what you get. I also got a mango smoothie which was great.If I ever come back here, I would get a wrap and a smoothie and probably split the two with my fiance. Bay Area offers quite a few good Mediterranean options – Falafel Bite on Stevens Creek Blvd, the fantastic Falafel Stop on Sunnyvale-Saratoga road, and the sit down Dish Dash in downtown Sunnyvale.A few years ago, Dish Dash opened a drive through, fast casual place on Mathilda Avenue called Dish’n’dash. I assumed that the food was no different from the Murphy St Dish Dash and skipped going there all these years. Our office campus moved to Sunnyvale, not too far from Dish’n’dash and I finally trudged there a few weeks ago. Since then, I have made multiple trips and can happily report that Dish’n’dash is a fantastic place to get a weekday lunch and is turning to be a regular haunt for me. Here is why.The best way to describe Dish’n’dash is that its the Chipotle of Mediterranean food. I would completely not be surprised if they had Chipotle in mind while building this specific outlet. From the kind of paper that the menu is printed on to the way the menu is broken down to how the orders are processed, it looks and feels a lot like Chipotle. And that is not a bad thing.Simple, easy and healthy choices are not common in the Mediterranean cuisine based restaurants and Dishndash is refreshingly different. Over my few trips to the place, I have tried multiple combinations, multiple side dishes and multiple drinks. And yes, multiple sauces. Most if not all of them were pretty good to great. The spicy sauce combos are definitely must have. Their fresh fruit juices (made in front of you) are a welcome option.Seating is limited and the place is designed to be a takeout. You can also order via their website or their iPhone app. Ordering online is the best option. Saves you a ton of time waiting for food. The falafels are almost always freshly made. The veggies seem fresh. The bread is good and just a smidgen less awesome than the one at Falafel Stop.Prices are reasonable- a base veggie falafel on rice or in a pita bread with no sides runs to about $7.5. Add in some sides and extras and it works to about $10. I usually have a drink to go with it and my bill works out to about $15. Not bad for a full and healthy lunch.My only gripe- the baklava was just OK. I strongly recommend giving Dish’n’dash a shot. You will definitely like it.Rating:Ambiance: 8/10. Really meant to be a takeout place with limited and cramped seating.Service: 8.25/10. If you plan to take out, I strongly recommend ordering in advance. At peak lunch hour, wait times are usually 10-15 minutes.Food: 9/10. Fantastic. Love it.Price: 8.5/10. On par with competition and given the option to add things on for a price, manageable.Restroom: N/AOverall: 8.5/10. It is the food that really matters here and it is very good. Great food for reasonable prices. There is almost always a lineup, which confirms that it is indeed a popular place. Most people seem to take out though, so if you are there to eat in you will probably always find a spot to sit. Orders take a while to prepare sometimes, not the best place to go to if you cant wait a little

Visited here for both lunch and dinner, both time are equally busy with patrons. The Lamb Shawarma we had for lunch was flavourful, fresh, tender and delicious, it was satisfying although the portion is considerably small for American standard, especially the Babaganouge given was only about 2-3 spoons. The Beef Shawarma we had for dinner, however, was dry and a bit overcooked. You can choose up to 3 dipping sauce for each oder. Fast service, free parking, wheelchair accessible entrance but limited seats. Wish they would reduce the usage of plastic utensils.

Great spot for lunch! I got the veggies with rice. No sides. It was enough food for me (very full plate), although I confess when the fries came out on someone else’s plate, they looked delicious!

The falafel was great, but they feta was missing from the Greek topping. The lamb shawarma was good, but there was no pickled cabbage in the Jerusalem topping. Over all, testy decent price and good service. Could have been better if the tables were cleaned....Then again, the lemonade cucumber mint is AMZING, and the Baklava is wonderful.

Great place for Mediterranean fare. It is quick and delicious, and depending on what you get it is on the healthier side. I recommend the chicken shawarma. They also have a number of good dipping sauces for your falafel or shawarma.

A surprisingly different take on Mediterranean food. This is one of those Chipotle kind of places, where you would choose your bread, protein and toppings. They even provide recommendations of toppings with their different combinations. The lentil soup here is a must-have.I find this place pretty expensive for a self-service kind of place and the portions are ridiculously small.

A fantastic fast food restaurant serving healthy middle eastern fare in a bustling modern space. I highly recommend their falafel, as Its my go to dish when at dish n dash. They have something like 6 different sauces to enjoy with any of their wide variety of dishes. TLDR: Awesome middle eastern food in a fast food format, a must try if youre in the area!
