Ive had many Vietnamese pho all over the world, this one inside the Windmill food court was quite good--the sliced beef was surprisingly tender.The operator was accommodating by taking my order early before they open around 11am.The only beef I had was for almost $20 the Pho Dac Biet was kind of smallish compared to what I am accustomed to. Perhaps it is normal price around this area.Nevertheless not going to ding the rating.

My wife stopped by to place an order to go. She ordered OG Spring Rolls and Pho Tai (with rare filet mignon). When she arrived home with the food I went to assemble my bowl of Pho...and discovered that District 1 Pho failed to include the filet mignon. How do they leave out THE key ingredient? Unacceptable attention to detail and quality control.We called them to give them the opportunity to make it right, but they did not even answer the phone.If you get an order to go from here, be sure to double check it before you walk away from the counter...because they clearly dont.

A nice find all the way in the back of the food court, it was too hot for pho so I got the bún - rice vermicelli noodles with pork and beef. Got the food under 5 mins, the char-grilled meat smelled heavenly, the sauce smells funky as it should be. My only complaint is that there was not enough noodles and veggies!

The pho itself was a solid 4, but an absolute 5 for the innovative take packaging. Usually pho is challenging to transport but they made it so easy (reference photos).The location is also worth checking out. In a modern food court in Carlsbad, there are tons of various vendors with food options and comfy places to sit.

Felt like some Vietnamese food after hiking around the Flat Rock with the family. We ordered the Banh Mi sandwich with chicken, the Bun (rice vermicelli) with pork and egg rolls, and the Pho with chicken and chicken broth. I would say the Banh Mi and Bun were not the best Ive had, and I would not order them again. However, the Pho was really pho-nomenal!THAT I would order again, and again, and again. I gotta try that Shakin Beef next time too.

Always hits the spot especially after a long day at Legoland. Their vermicelli bowls, pho and spring rolls are legit. Food is quickly prepared and always fresh and delicious. Pair with a drink from the bar and youre good to go!

Food was really good! Deff will come back. Hubby enjoyed his food as well(: large portions. My pho, was enough for two meals for me. I had leftovers to bring home!

The Pho Tai is decent. The soup is light in flavor and on the sweeter side. It’s not to my liking - 2 stars for being edible. However, there’s a lot of meat and it’s very tender…so 3 stars.Side note: when I said pho “tai” (with the correct accent), the cashier corrected me and said pho “thai” (like in Thailand). I think they should at least know how to pronounce their menu items before correcting others.

Shakin Beef, yum!! Juicy filet mignon chunks with grilled mushrooms and onions, fries, and jalapeños 🔥 just the right spice! Side of rice and green salad to balance it out 😉*Nachos from el Puerto street tacos 👍

We are big fans of Pho however, IMO the Pho here was ok and definitely pricey for the amount they give you. The noodles and veggies were a bit on the tougher side and the broth was ok.As for customer service the female working the cash register needs an attitude check! If rude and dirty looks with no patience was a person.. that would be her!
