We met here for a little family reunion. The food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere is quaint and it was the perfect place to get together with family and friends.

We found them right before closing. The server was attentive. The chef made our scallops and beef stroganoff better than any wed ever had before. Everything about our dining experience was above par. It was a Sunday night.

I swear I don’t know how this is rated so well. After the 10min treasure hunt to find a server to take our order I had the Anemic Caesar salad with stale chewy croutons. I tried to endure their laughable interpretation of “cordon bleu”…small game hen with cheese and barbecue sauce thrown over it. Under cooked green beans and stale dry rice. Beer I ordered was last out of the barrel and they could only serve half a glass (no joke). Bitter and flat.My daughter wanted this to be a special dinner to end a perfect day. This place ruined it for us all. I will not return to force myself to choke down their food. Clearly a tourist trap for the clueless. Their menu is 18 loose dirty laminate pages of pages of run away and save your money.

Cute Restaurant with very friendly service. The portions are huge and tasty so you definitely get fed up. We loved the charming 50 year style interior. The only tiny negative point are the toilettes which are in need of renovation.

Fun in your parents kind of way or those who like the feel of a 60s/70s kind of way. Everyone gets a small vermouth with lemon peel, pate and toast points when you are seated. This is not a place to be on a diet. The menu was great but not light but I feel they would work with you. Lamb was excellent, chicken Marsala fabulous...nice wine list. I totally enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere of unmatched China, silver, tablecloths and really amazing art on the walls. It was a fun time and our server Derek was excellent!

Most amazing evening. Food was scrumptious. Fabulous filet. Good Ceasar salad. Delicious soup and perfect escargot. In the warmest setting. Partly neighborhood bar and partly authentic cafe.I cannot say enough good things. We eat out often, 5 meals a week at least. This was topsRecommended to us highly and did not disappointI also want to plug a local chocolate shop. The chocolate pirate. A bit hard to find but worth the effort.

Best kept secret in Laguna. This long-standing staple makes you feel at home. First off, they serve you pate with vermouth to cleanse the pallet. Everything we have tried has been great. The duck is the best I’ve had (for a baked preparation) this side of the Mississippi. I can’t recommend it enough. I hope you enjoy this special place as much as I do!

Had an amazing date night here and Lexie our server was amazing!! I’m eating sugar free/low carb and she and the kitchen crew were so accommodating!! She personally made the red wine/olive oil lemon dressing for my salad and it was soooo good! She ensured that everything was what we needed and I’m so glad we came here. Steak was perfect medium and so tender. Loved everything including the staff and ambience-will definitely return. Thanks Lexie for making our night absolutely perfect! :)

Best service weve had in a long time. The wait staff at Dizzs is top notch in every regard. When we arrived, we were greeted with a complimentary cocktail and appetizer to get us started, then given first-class treatment through the entire time we spent there. The atmosphere was funky and unique. The food was great. The prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend Dizzs for anyone wanting a fun and unique dining experience with first-class service.

This was an average meal with excellent service.The meal starts with complimentary chicken liver pate with buttered toast and a small glass of vermouth. Nice touch but the pate was bland and a bit too coarse for my taste.Our entrees, chicken marsala with linguine and the fish of the day 4 oz portion of swordfish with a peppercorn cream sauce were both a bit overcooked. The marsala was bland. The swordfish was dry.Disappointed in a restaurant that has been around among time but it could have been an off night.Service was very good.

A locals favorite! Please dont overlook this eclectic, fun place to eat. The food is always delicious and the drinks are always amazing. Service is different here, but in a good, no great, way. Its not a star restaurant, but its miles above any NICE chain place. Its different but in all the good ways and I cant recommend this place enough to anyone even passing through Laguna!(wouldnt that technically be worth a star from the tire company?)P.s. Im from Las Vegas and live there, but every time Im fortunate enough to visit Laguna Beach for a long weekend, Dizzs is always our first go out place to eat, and was our first sit-down since the pandemic started and they are super clean and safe and I again highly recommend them for a delicious pandemic sit down dinner.Outdoor seating is an option here, too!)

The atmosphere is eclectic, the inside is cozy and the food is fantastic. I had the rack of lamb and was not disappointed. It was served with green beans, mashed potatoes and a grilled tomatoes. The lamb is floating in a wonderful sauce. Prior to the main course they served a small glass of vermouth, a plate with pate and toast. You also get a choice of soup or salad. Go hungry. Enjoy.

A perfect neighborhood eating destination. Relaxing indoor and outdoor dining. Not a chain. Established and very consistent. Family owned and personable. Intimate bar. This is my favorite place for a romantic date with my wife. Im not able to make it here very often, but been coming here since the late 80s. It has a cozy and romantic setting with great food and very friendly service. It has all the benefits of a high end restaurant but with a casual comfort feel rather than a pretentious setting.

This restaurant has an interesting way of presenting its menu(s). Each entre has a separate page. The offerings were eclectic to usual. Each of our meals were delicious. The service is good. Its a small place ( indoors) with some outside seating. Its very accommodating although it was a bit noisy inside (Labor day). Itll be calmer until next May. I will go back and recommend it.

Duck meat stringing and dry.Sourdough bread blackened and unable too slice.Pre dinner salid consisted of 15 to 16 Spinach leaves.The Chinese Prons and Shrimp dry and overcooked.Felt sorry for Deric the waiter, truley understaffed. Outstanding food and service. Had the pate, crab ravioli, and clam appetizers and these were fresh and good. The bartender makes a great apple martini. Erica provided kind and efficient service and spead up our meal since we were on a tight schedule. Kids loved the roasted chicken and the bacon wrapped filet mignon was excellent. Highly recommended.

Its quite a quirky place though, has a lot of character.I would give it 5 stars but the menu idea they have there is very strange, every dish is on a separate piece of paper so you have to pass them round between your dinner party deciding what you want. I dont mind the concept but it really would be great if they could have all the dishes on one sheet of paper where you could see them all and once to decide.

What an absolutely terrible experience. Being way overpriced aside, the food was wildly mediocre. The Y2K plates are deeply saddening and present the knowledge that youre using 18 year old plates. The pile of laminated sheets of paper as the menu was baffling at best. The waitress did her best but was not knowledgeable and made several trips to the kitchen to get the simple answers. I made an appointment for Friday night and when we arrived I realized that wasnt remotely necessary because there was only five people in the restraunt and three of them were at the bar.If I could build a time machine and travel to anyvpoint it would be to the night I went to Dizzs as is and go to McDonalds instead.

2nd time here. Food was great both time. This trip though I had a beer spilled on my left foot by the waitress and a wine spilt on my right knee by the assistant server. The beer also spilled all over my cousins appetizer and he was not offered a new one to replace it. Then a mix up with the main courses. Wrong sides for one and one steak cooked under what was ordered. Things happen. But at the very least they should have replaced the scallop appetizer that had beer dumped all over it.

Folks, this was the worst Ciopino I have ever had in my life. It looks like they took a #10 can of tomato sauce, took empty crab bones, some shell fish that wouldnt open and served it. Obviously they dont know what Ciopino broth looks like!! HORRIBLE. It came with a cup of ceaser salad in a little foil pan.My wife had gross looking meatball sliders and French Onion soup...although you couldnt convince me.Being new to LB I read the reviews before calling in my order. I now believe that they write their own reviews.I will never eat here again.
