Worst place to get something installed. They charged upfront for the installation fee then set up an appointment and the day off the appointment they come up with a lame excuse and don’t want to refund your money back but instead replace your money with other items. Save your money and your time people.

I was looking for a place to buy a new stereo. Took an look on google and this place was near by. Glad I stopped by. The staff was really helpful and they showed me all the pioneer stereos that had apple CarPlay since I have an iPhone. The financing was quick and I have 90 days to pay. The installation was quick and I just waited at the coffee shop across the street. It feels great to have a new touch screen! I’ll highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a new stereo.

I purchased a bundle and they weren’t able to install some stuff and they never returned my money and when they returned my truck to me it was making loud noises and shaking because they forced it too much on trying to put that alarm that starts it up, well never got my money for that. I took my truck back they did some kind of cheap work to get it to stop shaking, ever since then my truck electrical would act up and my truck would randomly not start sometimes. I called them and told them I lost my receipt, I asked them to look me up in the system since I purchased with credit, they said they don’t have time and need a receipt. After their bad installation my truck had problems for 2 whole years. Then one day my truck caught fire out of no where from around where the stereo was. Not saying it was their bad work but just saying don’t trust this place.

Called got a price quoted of 220 and told to come in. But when I got there the price doubles to 380 because I needed a converter. ( Made sure to take a picture ) and than went to another location and got the exact same service done for 220 . Idk I think the first quote I got was the real one but once I came in shop they tried to take advantage of me... I mean I got all the same stuff including the ( extra ) they were talking about elswhere done. Today 8-1-20 just be careful make sure you dont get jooped..👊🏽I got this extra and installation for 220 💯🔥 just not here . They wanted 380I spoke with someone names Joseph there in store.

System did sound good until my L7 blew out and i just needed a sub, they wanted to charge me $380 just for the sub when thats the whole price for the sub and the enclosure box. best buy got the single L7 kicker 12 sub for $250. thinking i should do my own leg work. charging me full price for a sub with enclosure box sucks when i only need the sub alone. spent about $1,500 overall. and they couldnt even get that price down. that sucks.

Went to snag a deal a deal advertised on OfferUp. Admittedly I was a little skeptical and expecting “the catch”. Shop owner seemed honest and deal was as advertised. We discussed my build out plans and he made great suggestions for everything I would need. I wasn’t prepared to spend more than the amp I came to buy. He was understanding of that and offered his in house financing, did not pressure or use any “uses cars man” type tactics. I felt comfortable declining, he even said he would honor the deal the next time I come back in. I highly recommend this place for your audio needs. I initially didnt know what I wanted but knew I didnt want a subwoofer or amp, which he stocks. I just wanted a clear sound. Alex was extremely helpful and recommended some brands. In the end, he gave me a great deal (I googled the models while in the store). I must say that this place is not only affordable but their customer service is astounding. This place is not like your typical car and audio place where they try to over sell and over price theyre merchandise they really know there s#$t. Was quoted a price for something and once I arrived the price changed and on top of that, they said it was a cash price only wich they never told me before. Wasted my gas and time going to them. Person at register needs training in customer service. Scammers and false advertising. To the owner, I understand you have to collect taxes, thats not the isuue. The problem was the rude treatment I received by your sales personnel. And the switch on form of payment. Nowhere in your ad did it say it was a cash only price so i didnt take cash with me. By the way this wasnt the first time Ive bought from your shop. I was a returning customer. Now imagine how many more 5 star reviews you would have if your sales personnel gave the same great customer service all the time.

To begin with I don’t know why they have such good ratings when this is possibly the worst place you can get work done at. Took my truck to get a full sounds system and the guy sold me a part that my truck “supposedly” needed. I payed way over retail for it just to realize that they put me a Chinese part that wasn’t even original. Also, beware of the owners son Joseph he’ll finesse and play any customer at any chance he gets. I was even told by the workers it isn’t the first time he takes advantage of people. Good workers and equipment but horrible owner!!!!

Super expensive that place, The truth is that they steal a lot from people, they charged me 200 dollars to connect only one device, they charged me an extra 300 for labor and 300 for some cables, I paid 800 dollars for something that didnt even work well, I dont recommend it, but if you are one of those who likes to throw their money forward

Honestly worst service ever. i was supposedly getting hooked up ended up even charging me 80 dollars for screws also took there word and bought a new epicenter since they said my epicenter didn’t work thats when things started to get sketchy since i knew mine was working perfectly fine before. had to make them show me if my epicenter was working it magically happen to work, didn’t even need a new one joseph, son of the OWNER has no type of customer service even wanted to fight me after i confronted him about the issue i wouldn’t recommend people to come here worst experience ever joseph will lie to you and talk to you on to buying something you dont even need and if u do come double check there work and make sure they installed what u paid for

Love this place. I have always had systems in my cars and always a problem about a month or 2 down the line. This system has been in my car for a lil over 2 years and not a single problem. Thats called knowing what your doing and not offering Refurbished products as some places do as I found out.

I had a problem with a speaker that I purchased here a year ago. I was expecting to pay repairs but with the help of Joseph I was able to track down my purchase receipt Wich I had lost,also they put me in direct contact with the proper warranty facility for a free repair. I requested a quote for Pioneer NEX in-dash stereo, they didnt have the particular model I was looking for so Alex quoted me the newer version for a good price installed. There was an issue with my vehicle that was out of their hands but they went above an beyond to help me out got my car the following day and was very happy with the work done. Their customer service is A+ its one of those places youre glad to go back to.Tip: for a quote always specify the stock system in your vehicle especially if its an upgraded system like Bose or Infinity it will go much easier on everyone.

I saw an add on offer up for a pioneer in dash car play unit that was a one 35% priced less then on the internet, so I went down to pick it up, and the service was so nice, I ended up financing with snap and got a whole system with JL Audio Speakers and Subwoofers in my 2011 Silverado, onto of all that, the shop owner “ Alex “ surprised me by installing a free backup camera on my truck WOW. he said it’s a token of his appreciation of my business. This shop is the shop Ive been looking for!!I came to DJ Custom Audio to get my stereo wiring and LC7i redone after finding out the hard way, to be careful of who you get to install your equipment, if you know what I mean!! My installer George went over all of my equipment and wiring and gave me his recommendations and options for how to proceed. George did a fantastic job. Everything works flawlessly now. My license plate flew off my car. I have no clue where it is. Now I have to deal with the dmv due to poor installation. I have already done business with a major stereo shop near by and had received the worst experience. I say that because after doing business with AJ here at DJ Custom Audio, I can see what an actual pleasent shopping experience is. He provided professional and knowledgable assistance in regards to fixing the horrible job the other shop did. He rewired my 2018 camry that was destroyed by the other shop and provided the professional dash kit and JL audio 6x9 components all around. It looks and sounds amazing and I am so glad I came here because now I know how much I was over charged by the other shop . Their finance options are pretty legit for some one on a budget wanting to get started. Walked out with a pioneere dj console and a mackie monitor at a very good price and i mean very good price and i was financed in less the 30 minutes. Would have been shorter but there was an issue with my app but the owner Alex made a call to the company and got things sorted for me. Excellent experience. Came in originally to fix bad installation that was done on my Audi by a shop in Long Beach. These guys are super professional, you can tell from the way they conduct business, and from the professional brands they carry like JL Audio, Alpine, Hertz and Focal. I ended up being so pleased with the professional service I received, I ended up buying 2 sets of C2 JL Component speakers, upgraded my bass amp and add a highs amp by JL, got 2 JL Subwoofers and rewired My whole car. Job was done on the spot and I’m mind blown by how amazing my car sounds. My professional is called AJ, this guy took the tome to explain every bit regarding how my system works, even drawn diagrams on a paper explaining the functionality of the system. I will surely come back and send everyone I know here. The price I paid would get me kicker or pioneer stuff but here I was given JL Audio top of the line product. I went inside the store on a thursday and i went asking for prices and the there was a guy trying to take advantage of me selling me stuff 2 times the price like an example a pioneer head u it 1770 model it cost 300 and he told me that it cost 600 but he would leave it for 500 so thats 200 so judge by yourself and also he tryed selling me some db speakers for 400 and i check online and cost 180-190 so beware and his name is tony

He gave us all of the options, from cheaper to more expensive, but we wanted THUMPS! so he gave us the best option possible.We got a great deal. New Pioneer Head Unit with Apple Carplay with double-din casing, 4 Alpine interior door speakers, Alpine 5 channel Amp, sub box with 12 Alpine BASS Subwoofer. Installed at a pretty good price. I went in a few months ago for a full install in my car, amps door speakers subs, everything, and it sounded good when I left, I was impressed, I was like dam this shop really did it, they really made me happy, later from time to time, I’ll hear weird things with the sub, I was like mmmhhh maybe it’s the song or just a bumpy ride, then recently just yesterday my door speakers will cut off, when the bass was kicking too hard and I was like mmmhh was it to much power, I pulled over to check it out and I pulled off the material that covers the wires, just to see the ground to the sub was lose, it was just barely hanging, not even tight at all, I started checking all the wires and most of them where lose, I open the door speakers and notice that my cross overs where not even installed, if my car didn’t need them, i think the correct thing was to notify me and give them to me, there was a lot of things that really bother me all around the car, the wires, i mean it’s good stuff but maybe the installer saw it as too much work and just wanted to finish and rushed threw my car, which sucks because i bought a full audio system, paid cash and man I’m just like disappointed, I trusted these guys, and the installer, bro I know it’s not your car but atleast pretend it is, don’t be a hater, I just spend all morning, fixing everything myself, I don’t want nothing to do with you guys because all you guys are gonna do is maybe mess with something else, this is consider as bad business already
