This place is a ripoff. The portion is stingy and not worth the money. Besides, sanitation is also a concern. The chubby lady, the owner, tasted a dish in front of me and then placed that scoop right back into the dish. OMG!

Very good vegan foodz togo. The soups are excellent. They have bitter melons stuffed with some sorts of vegan stuffings. Look delicious! I came for the soups this time. I will try their rice plate with the yummy vegan dishes next time.Dont believe all the negative comments. Try this place out yourselves and see. The foodz are excellent!

Everything was super tasty. It’s kinda a deli with amazingly spiced and all vegetarian options, a really great stuffed chili, some bitter melon, and some lemon grass spiced tofu skin were highlights. I didn’t know what most of it was, but the woman at the counter was pretty patient with me. I was even able to pick up some vegetarian fish sauce for cooking. It was 8 am and they were already starting to be busy.

Typical veggie fast food service. Like all the gentlemen servers here. They are polite and helpful, friendly. Except for the old lady, ruded and always rushed customers.

The grouchy stingy lady needs to go, besides her terrible service and attitude everything else is good.

This place is really great if you live Vietnamese food and dont like meat. I used to get food to go here fairly often when I was vegetarian. Its very inexpensive and no-frills.Now that Im keto, almost nothing on the menu fits in my diet, but I still occasionally will buy their egg meatloaf here as a treat (Cha trung hap).

Low-profile, unassuming, cash-only deli, very popular among locals. Vegan Asian cuisine. Nice employees. Hearty helpings. The customers mostly just take away.

I have been going to this local vegetarian place for nearly 20 years. Everything made in store is amazing and always fills you up for a fantastic price. So much variety, and everything is great quality. From the foods out in the trays, to the soups in the back, everything has that great homemade taste.Would recommend trying everything if you get the chance. The safer pick is the bun bo hue for noodle soup, and the tofu stir fry for the tray options, but the goi (pickled vegetable salad) is a great addition to any entree you choose. And dont forget about the sweet tofu!

Had the bun bo hue here and my friend had the vegetable spring roll and both were phenomenal. They take cash only so the total was $14.50! Bun bo hue was $10 and spring roll was $4.50. For the amount of food that we both had, it was cheap! All the food here is vegetarian which puts an interesting spin on things and tasted as such. The flavors were fantastic though, something about the fact that it was vegetarian helped contribute to it.The employees were very nice and helpful. The guy gave us recommendations and the most popular dishes (pho, bun bo hue, etc). The place seems like a mom and pop shop and it is one of my favorite places here so far!

One of the best vegetarian places in San Jose. Very few seats, so most items are for To Go, perfect during COVID time. Lining up is a bit confusing if the place gets crowded. Plenty of items to choose. I tried to call to order a few times, but the phone line never worked. Try some of the Pho or Hu Tieu (Noodle in pork soup, all veggie dishes of course.) If you’re new to Vietnamese vegetarian style, look at some of the pictures. Most menu items are made with tofu and vegetables, some with curry or other Asian sauce.
