I went around 1:30 pm.I went to pick up an order my brother called in over the phone for two sandwiches and a drink.Their donuts are so soft and taste fresh. I had a glazed donut today. I would return for the donut itself.The sandwiches are always delicious. I get the bbq pork sandwich. It is also spicy. The bread is always a good crunch to bite into and not hard at all.I tried their vanilla chai with boba today, and I was pleasantly surprised. Its really yummy, and I would have it again. I can definitely taste both flavors.Customer service is always great. They are super helpful and nice.Other drinks I dont care for like their honeydew blended drink with boba.The atmosphere is okay. I usually just pop in to grab my food to go :)

Favorite sandwich in Merced and I love the mural on their back wall. I get the beautiful Vietnamese chicken banh mi sandwich and the flavor is so delicious! So bright and fresh tasting. Always love the customer service and the location is awesome too. Right by the tower theater, Antique Mall, and Restoration thrift store.

I looooveeeeee this place!! The owner and employees are always so kind. Their bobas are to die for! Best place in town! I always get their coconut taro Boba. Not a fan of the sandwiches but thats because I dont care for them. They have amazing donut selections and mouthwatering cronies! Wish I had taken a photo of my order.. didnt last long in my hands.

Their doughnuts are good but the service can be poor. I was taking my time on choosing the doughnuts because I was selecting some for my childs classmates, and the lady asked me if she can help next person first. I already had one box selected... I told her no and that I wanted to finish my order. So she finished taking my order. The kids enjoyed the doughnuts. Ive also had their sandwiches which are very tasty.

This is my favorite lunch spot in town. The donuts are delicious and made fresh every day. If you’re looking for something more substantial, I can’t recommend the sandwiches enough, the lemongrass chicken and the veggie tofu especially. Plus, the prices are low and the service is exceptional. Five stars!

I must admit. Sweets aren’t my regular thing, so I cant tell you about the donuts. The lemongrass chicken sandwich, I love! Lots of savory chicken with just enough veggies between a crunchy roll thats not too much bread for a sandwich! At $4.99, its an affordable snack or lunch. Not the quickest service here, but its worth the wait.

Tried the raised donuts and they were so soft and light. Then I looked at the menu and realized they had banh mi and decided to come back for lunch. We ordered a lemongrass chicken and a BBQ pork banh mi. They were both very good. The bread was perfect. Ill definitely be back to try more.

Great donuts, great food, service is decent. However, I noticed they charged me 7.xx for a sandwich, when on the menu it was labeled as 6.49. I wont dispute 50 cents, but I truly hope it was a mistake. I will change review next time I come in.

This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I discovered this place after craving boba while on a trip in Merced, so I googled nearby boba places & found this gem. Their boba tea is incredible & they have a huge variety of flavors. They have incredible bahn-mi sandwiches that are incredibly fresh & flavorful. Their donuts are the best I’ve had as well, even beating out Krispy Kreme. But, the real star is the service. These people are not only fast & efficient, but if you’re from out of town, they’ll ask you if you want them to put the veggies for your sandwich in a ziplock so the bread doesn’t get soggy on the way home. This place truly is a hidden gem!

I wanted a pastrami but they were all out.😞 Anyways my grandkids had coconut boba, well 1 did and the other had just the drink without the boba and maple bars. Very clean store, very good prices, the Boba drinks are by far the best in Merced. Im from the bay area where Boba is very very common. Donut King has better quality Boba than any of the stores from the bay. Their sandwiches are great, donuts are nice, everythings made daily (so its extra fresh) and I have never had a problem here. Great spot for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner if you get to order a sandwich or two before they close (they close relatively early but its never been a problem).

This unasuming place was open early Saturday. And I have seen it many times. But had a train to catch at 7 am. So stopped to grab a quick bite to eat on train. Was surprised it was open and busy smelled so yummy. Got me a few doughnut 🍩 and crusount with cheese. And got on train and had coffee and snacks. They were Delicious and yummy. YES!The pork Bánh mì is also the best in town.They have an awesome coffee roaster; but I have yet to try their espresso.(Im from SoCal... and lived near Garden Grove for a long time, and commuted through daily. Ive had my fill of Lees... and know that Saigons Bakery on Brookhurst is the best...but... youll have a hard time finding better than Donut Kings, even if it is Little Saigon).
