Im so in love. My tastebuds havent been this grateful in a while. Im so bored of corporate chains like Applebees. This is some amazing homemade food. My wife had the meatball sub, I had the Italian sausage sub and my baby had the French fries. ALL fantastic!

I just love this place. The Italian sausage sandwhich Is the best Ive ever had. I live 15 miles away and have looked for something comparable around home and nothing comes close. If you love food you owe yourself a visit. Note it isnt cheap but you pay for the quality of the ingredients and flavor.

One of the best Deli foods around.You will always be greeted. Its a family atmosphere, I really feel like I am family.Home cooked soup 🍲, salad 🥗, roasted chicken and potatoes, pizza 🍕, sandwiches to over eat on. If you like fresh baked bread 🍞 they have it. Wine 🍷 and deli condiments. They have every kind of cold cuts youre going to imagine. I like head cheese and they have it. Prosciutto, pastrami, corned beef, olive loaf, pancetta, you name it. They have it. If they dont have it they can get it.Stop by and find out for yourself.I guarantee you will feel the very same wayThanks

Theres a long line to get service. It is very expensive there. The food was okay. There is enough parking place there. You have to wait for your food after the line. The place is clean. The neighborhoods good. They need hire more people.🍰☕🍴🍜🍲

Sorry I dont have a photo; sometimes, I just wanna eat, ya know? Novel idea, I know. BUT the food here is really good. Ill have to come back and continue to revise this rating. Really interested in trying some of the fresh meats and things they have at the counter. Service was good and I had the Brooklyn Bridge Grinder-- which was cool but the flavor was a little bland. Maybe add some salt and pepper in with the Italian dressing and itd be a 5 star, especially since they have the peppers on it. Theyd soak up some seasoning. Other than that, Ill be back!

Im surprised I havent written a review for this place yet. I have lived nearby for almost a decade, and havent really gotten to appreciate this place. I have previously only visited once or twice to try some of their sandwiches, but I was finally able to give their other food a try, and its amazing! If you have not tried their Broasted Chicken, or in house potato salad or cole slaw, give it a try! I guess before talking about the food, I do also want to say that this business has also adapted to the pandemic of COVID, and it feels safe to visit here with the 6 foot distance in the line, and the staff wearing masks.FoodLike i said before, I have tried their sandwich before, particularly the hot meatball sub. I would say the meatball itself was pretty good, but i believe there just wasnt enough sauce. I could also understand that if they were to put too much, the sandwich may get quite soggy by the time you are able to eat it. Maybe I could ask for a side of the marinara in the future?What i want to cover is these items!Broasted Chicken - wow the fried chicken I usually order from KFC, Popeyes, Churches feel so oily and unhealthy compared to this. Not only did it feel less unhealthy but it was packed with flavor and great contrast of the crisp of the skin. Just writing this makes me want to order another batch!\This comes usually with some sides like the cole slaw, the broasted potatos as well as the rolls. You could swap it out for the potato salad if you wish. They have different sizes and you can choose from as small as 8 pieces to as much as 24 pieces for the order. Of course the larger amount of chicken, the more sides there is.Cant wait to see what else they have here that are signature items. Expect to visit real

Its Moms 83rd birthday and she loves a good pastrami. I ordered the roast beef, we had side salads ( mushrooms are amazing) a brownie and a slice of lemon cake 😋😋 Everything was so wonderful! I highly recommend

I really love boars head meat and I was excited to find this place, but I ordered a turkey sandwich with tomatoes, onion, bell pepper and sprouts and they forgot to add them and they just gave them to me in Styrofoam cups on the side for me to add them into my sandwich for myself. First-time customer I was working close by. I had the sampler meatball sandwich combo with chicken vegetable rice soup and salad. Delicious. I also purchased a few items (some pastries and artichoke salad) to take home. Delicious. I will be visiting this place again even if I have to drive 45 miles to get here. Very nice place. We have been residents of Montclair over two decades and have never tried this place until NOW. Let me start off by saying the aesthetics of this place are a vibe. From the cute little deli to the perfectly wrapped tasty submarines. The deli chips and paper straws are the perfect combO in completing the meals. We tried the Brooklyn special and it was fresh and tasty . Perfect balance of cold cuts and veggies all wrapped in a yummy roll . If you’re looking for a delicious sandwich this place is a must try. Good food, kind workers. My 80 year old mom was really hungry and starting to not feel well so they quickly got some rolls out so she could eat. They were patient with her and her questions. When she spilled her drink they didnt make her feel bad when they cleaned it up. They would have 5 stars but I didnt like the music/atmosphere, however it did feel like a clean place. Also, has many great choices on the menu.

With the cost of everything nowadays going up and continuing to do so, still some things can be ridiculous at times. So I order a bowl of chili today and got my order . The chili is great here can’t knock that. The upsetting part is the the cashier tells me the onions and cheese to add to my chili soup cost extra. I was like wow really, chili anywhere else comes with cheese and onions to add, kind of standard sides when eating a bowl of chili you would have thought. Again I know prices have gone up and of course the price of this chili has gone up but you would think the condiments that help make the chili more enjoyable are to come with it when asked. But to upcharge it wow shame on this restaurant.

First time here. I ordered a roast beef hot sandwich. The beef was really dry, small amount of cheese. Too much of the pickles and mayo. I had a terrible time eating it.The staff was friendly. I haven’t been here in a while but I remember it being wonderful. I was very disappointed and will not be coming here again. Fries were semi warm with a dry texture inside, there was a large bone in my chicken salad sandwich, and I received the wrong bread (the bread was also dry). Ordered the broccoli pasta salad and there was no broccoli in it. I just need to laugh at this point. Not a good experience for the $$.

Yummy food. I really love their steak sandwich. The bread they serve it on is very fresh. The sandwich is almost too big to eat at one timeband is seasoned nicely. I never get their pickles because I find them a lot too salty, but the grilled onions and peppers are tasty. Their carrot cake is also extremely delicious. Service is usually excellent. The salad bar is small, but filled with fresh and tasty items. Everything is clean and tidy.

This was my first visit to the deli. It was recommended by a owner of a local business. Inside the deli has an array of jarrred relishes, olives, specialty foods, etc. There’s a bakery section, prepared salads, beverages, a menu filled with a great assortment of sandwiches, pizzas and broasted chicken. That’s the best news I have seen in 15 years. Broasted chicken is cooked in a pressured cooked bath of oil. Not at all greasy just juicy and tasty chicken. I ordered it for tomorrow’s lunch. Delicious! I ordered a hot pastrami on a roll for today’s lunch. Delicious! There is seating inside and multiple tables outside in front of the store. A deli is hard to find in this area. You need to try this place. The staff are friendly. I will return and I recommend this eatery. The prices are $$$.

Old world deli has been a favorite for years now. It reminds me of a deli you’d run into in downtown New York. Originally I’d come here just for their broasted chicken but as I continue to try other items on the menu, I realize that they’re just really good at providing high quality, tasty food. I’m currently addicted to their soup and salads. I love their daily rotation of different soups of the days. Empathizes the freshness of their dishes. The costumer service is superb- they make you feel like family.If you are on a time constraint- I recommended phoning in your order as they don’t make it until a it’s ordered. An order of chicken can take up to about 20 min to be ready.

I go to OWD about once a week. I either go for their chicken or pizza which are both lights out. If I want to change it up I grab a hot pastrami sandwich which is also delicious. Their customer service team in Upland is top notch and always caters to the customer. The manager Tony makes sure you get your food how you want it. Honestly this is how a business should be run. From the homemade recipes to the cleanliness of the restaurant not a single detail is missed. Enjoy!

I cant say enough good about this place. It was my first time going there and it was recommended to me by a young lady from Ontario Bakery. I was so impressed with the selection and when I had my dry salami sandwich it was made so well and tasted so fresh. I would have gotten the salad bar to accept I wasnt hungry enough. But believe me if you go there youre going to be incredibly impressed by the cleanliness and how the selection is. Go and take a friend if you want to be a hero

Total hidden gem! Love everything about this place, the homemade soups, the meats, side dishes, sandwiches, Italian dishes and especially the service. Ive gone several times recently to try a variety of things but always hoping for a yummy soup. Wish they served clam chowder more days. This would be our second time visiting this location. I knew nothing about it until I walked in. Was greeted immediately after entering the establishment and the first thing that came out of the cashiers mouth was how can I help you? I asked a few questions and made my selection. I do not I repeat I do not like eating other peoples fried chicken (bad experiences) however after I was told how it was prepared I had to try. OMG the chicken was so juicy I was mad for not buying more. I love supporting local businesses. Now theyve gained a loyal customer/family my boys love it. Nestled in the corner of a shopping center in Ontario, this place was an old favorite of both family and friends from the area.They have an amazing selection of food, deli items, beer and wine. Read a bunch of reviews, so I had to go to find out for myself . Ordered a pastrami, ask what they put on it ? answer mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, cheese.. well first off mayo dont go on pastrami and for that matter neither does lettuce. As we waited I look at items in the display case, Cannoli that had condensation on them looking like they been there for a few days, peaces of cake that were per sliced and warped in plastic wrap smashed down into a paper plate . A bunch of different cookies (20ish) that all looked very old. No fresh meats, every thing was convenience processed meats. Took a look at the salad bar people had been raving about, It had brown oxidized pineapple on it and only about 15 items. I never will go back there again, And for people that rave about the brosted chicken, try KFC it to is pressure fried chicken and im sure for a better price and much fresher chicken,,, the thing here is that there are stretching out there tiny wings to far to try to make a menu to please to many types of people instead of doing one or two things right and being known for that,, the do things half assed. For pastrami lovers try Legends . theres two in upland . twice the sandwich for the same price. or even the Hat.
