This is a chain mexican food restaurant with great quality food. Clean bathrooms. The food can be pricey for the amount and a small amount of chips will come with your order. No endless chips here, but salsa bar.Sometime staff is tired as you can read their face. Especially end of the day. One incident, I had to repeat my order 3 times.But overall Great place. Best dos coyotes Ive been to, worth a try.

I wait for Fall and their Green Chili Stew every year. Enjoy it 2-3 times a week Oct to Jan, then they dont see me again until Oct the following year. Frustrates me, why its not a standard menu item.

This is the second Celebration of Life I have catered from this restaurant in the past 1.5 years. Mike, the manager, took my order and delivered the catering both times. He went above and beyond. The food was presented well, hot and very tasty. Thank you, Jan

If you are looking for a casual Mexican restaurant, Dos Coyotes fits the bill. In-door and out-door seating. Large variety of unique Mexican dishes. Variety of spice levels and a nice salsa bar. I also believe that they have a full bar, at the very least wine and beer.

Thought I liked Dos Coyotes. In fact, I enjoyed the food at a different location in the area. Just not here and it happened to be my first visit to this location. Tortilla tasted a bit stale on my burrito. Chips were a little off too. Salsa was adequate. Margaritas were not what I expected. They seemed to have some sort of herb or something in them, throwing off the taste? Could have been an off day for my tastebuds...who knows. Service wad good so that was a plus. Burrito fillings were good (steak border burrito) . Soda machine had Coke Zero (a plus) but it came out clear (so turned out to be a negative) The combo of all of these things meant I probably wont return, but, to be fair, it wasnt the worst Ive had.

When I go to a Mexican restaurant expect to have chips and an abundance of salsa. They gave me 17 chips and tiny little dishes of salsa. There was only two choices of salsa which was a pico de Gallo or just a regular hot sauce. The pictures I see on other reviews have a whole bar of salsa. Maybe I will try this place back out when the pandemic is over. Also be aware that their hand sanitizer was out. The burrito that I had was also packed with lettuce as a filler. If I spend $11 for a burrito I expected to be packed full, not a bunch of lettuce. If I wanted lettuce 🥬 I would get a wrap or a salad. I did give it three stars because the flavor of the sauce was awesome. The help was pretty good too.

Not the greatest. The refried beans taste funny the rice is flavorless the menu says chips and salsa bar but there is only salsa. The crispy tacos ave very oily. This place is not for my taste buds but you may like it.

Avoid if portion size is important to you. Placed an order through DoorDash and the Salmon Grain bowl (which I’ve ordered dozens of time, at at least one other Dos coyote location) was nothing short of scandalous in size. I appreciate margins are tightening, but adjust your prices, not your portion sizes. By far the biggest rip-off of all Dos Coyote locations. I have sadly come across.

Woohoo! Finally got a Dos Coyotes in Citrus Heights. Dont have to go to Folsom or Roseville anymore. This ones nice. Not to different from others. Clean, attractive Southwestern decor, festive atmosphere. This is the first one with a full bar (except it doesnt stay open passed 9pm. Not sure if that will work). Love the paella burrito.
