2023-07-15 06:06:31Good South Indian restaurant for someone looking to try out the cuisine. The food was mildly flavoured and the spice level is for suitable for most people.Pros:- The staff were very friendly.- The service was very quick.- Gobi Manchurian was very good, must try.Cons:- The restaurant was too cold. A little unbearable at times.- The dosa flavour was a little mild, maybe a little bland too.

2023-03-18 01:37:36Overall experience was good.Food: we had idli sambar, plain dosa sambar, samosa plate (2 pieces) and tandoori paneer skewers. Decent taste and had the right flavors, sambar could have been a bit more spicy. The paneer wasnt cooked in a tandoor. Didnt have as much charring as I had imagined.Service: overall the staff was nice and polite but as soon as they got busy our order took sometime to come out of the kitchen while other customers ate, paid and left.I think the portion of the dishes were also good. Didnt feel too full after sharing the dishes but that means you need to eat more food 😃😃Will try this place again.

2023-05-02 03:45:09This is a very casual spot with horrible paint job on the walls. The service is so so and the food overall is average. The Paneer Butter masala was paneer pieces thrown into the typical red sauce which was slightly on the tart side. The masala dosa was good. This is just a local neighborhood place with no ambiance or style or look.

2022-12-18 03:45:42The place is fine. A small eatery without much of ambience there. The servers arent quite trained and their English and communication is just passable. The mex veg uttapam was slightly undone. They give a small amount of chutney and when asked for more they give another tiny amount. I felt that Madras cafe wins in this regard. The filter coffee was good but not strong. They add a service tax already but that is not obvious when they show you just the final bill amount. I feel that I paid tip for no reason then.

2023-08-05 01:26:26After so long I decided to come back. This time I decided to try paneer dosa. It was delicious and tasty. I decided to dine-in and the service was good. The lady was nice. My favorite Indian restaurant. If youre a vegetarian or vegan, you can still come, they have vegetarian options too. If you are a vegan. Make sure ask the workers before order.

2021-03-27 21:39:07Definitely come if you’re in the mood for dosas. Though the pandemic prevents you from enjoying them at their crispest, they are still a treat. We usually get the madras masala dosa, garlic naan, and chicken curry/butter chicken.I don’t eat much Indian food, so please bear with me here! The madras masala dosa is nicely spiced, and the masala really makes the potatoes a joy to eat. You also get a really good sambar (the orange/red lentil stew), and two chutneys (coconut and pepper?). All of them have a distinct spicy taste, with the coconut being there to take the heat off if things get too hot.The chicken curry reminds me of some viet or Malaysian varieties. Very thick and heavily spiced, and pairs well with the aromatic rice. The butter chicken is also quite good. I was surprised at how soft the chicken was. It is easy to overcook chicken in a curry or stew, and it was nice to see how soft each piece was. It is a tiny bit sweeter than how I expected it though.Oh and if you ever order the rice, be prepared to eat a veritable mountain of it. They are generous.

2021-08-07 21:00:12Was able to order & get our food within 15 minutes. Take-out only, no dine-in. Not really much of a seating situation available; there were a few dirty chairs outside, but nothing appealing. The food, however, was delicious. Ordered the Paneer butter masala and the Garlic & cheese dosa. We also unexpectedly got some kind of rice, a vegetable soup, and tomato chutney & a creamy raita-ish dipping sauce. Great, strong flavors. Quite a lot of food. Good value for the price. A few dishes were on the oily side and the raita was a bit separated, but overall very good.

2023-07-16 06:37:56Horrible taste. I believe the place is famous for biryani as I saw most of them ordering it. We went to try dosa and it tasted horrible. I could not even finish it. Under cooked and laden with so much peanut masala, it was repulsive. the chutney had rotten coconut smell and when asked about it, the host just kept telling us that it was freshly made. Avoid if you want edible dosa. Not sure about other items on the menu.
