Absolutely beautiful & magical store!I saved up my tips for a new pair of skates and ended up with the Chuffed brand. Customer service was truly amazing!I was able to try out a few sizes and different brands before making my decision. The owner also talked me though the pros and cons of each, she is super knowledgeable! I am so happy with my new skates - it will really change the game for me!They also have so many great accessories and components to dress up your skates. A great selection of everything roller skate!

Purchased my first pair of Moxi Lollys in black size 9. I would recommend trying on different sizes of skates depending on your shoe size. Purchase some good Socko socks and some extra laces while you are there!!

This shop is such a blessing to the community! The owner is an absolute treasure! Im a lifelong skater. Its so awesome to have a brick and mortar building to try skates on hassle free. Since shes been open, Ive purchased three complete skate set-ups; pads/helmet; and countless accessories and goodies since she opened. Sometimes, I just pop in to talk about skates and hardware or get a mounting idea. I will never stop recommending Dotties.

Wow! What an amazing experience for my 10 year old daughter. I brought her in to Dotties today to start looking for her first pair of roller skates. We weren’t sure what to expect or whether we would even find “THE” pair.The woman who helped my daughter was patient, attentive and informative. Her name slipped my mind, but I think she was likely the owner. It was clear from the moment we walked in that we made the right choice in shopping locally…. I couldn’t have asked for my daughter to have a better experience. Through her guidance and recommendations, my daughter decided on a super cute set of Moxi Beach Bunnies in sky blue. She also helped us change out some accessories and made sure we had what we needed for future adjustments. Talk about above and beyond 🙌We will, without a doubt, return to Dotties for all of our future needs and wants.Thank you for a stress free… hassle free experience as well as the personal attention to our needs.

Super lucky to have someone with the know-how, the resources, the ability to bring a full service rollerskate shop to the South Bay! And this shop does not disappoint… it’s got so many different types of skates and the ability to special order/customize a pair, plus all the gear and accessories plus all the fun skate-related tchotchkes…always well stocked, always a pleasure to pop in and see Sara the owner and fellow skater. You can tell it’s a real labor of love for the skater, by the skater.

I visited Dottie’s today for my first time ! Beyond magical experience . I bought some bearing cleaning solution . Sarah also mentioned to me that she can special order anything for in- line rollerblades . Just go in store and inquire about anything you might want to order for your roller skates or rollerblades ! Dotties is MAGICAL! I am so happy to have a local roller skate shop in San Jose. All of my roller skate needs were met and more with this store. They have this pretty all pink gumball machine with glittery gumballs inside and it made me feel like I was Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory but for roller skates.Dottie herself (her name is Sara) the owner is the absolute sweetest. She was so knowledgeable and friendly, you can tell she knows her skate stuff.The other employees were so sweet, friendly and welcoming, answered all of my questions and pointed me in the perfect direction. Thats what I love about small businesses-the service. Everyone that works there was incredible.I left with my second pair of Moxi Lollys, an S1 helmet, a Moxi pad set, socks, light up wheels and fun details for my skates. There really is nothing that they dont carry. I have never seen so many items for roller skates before, things that I didnt know that I needed. I really cant say enough great things about this cute roller skate shop so wanted to share a review. Im so happy to be able to support a local family (female) owned business in my neighborhood. Stop shopping online and go buy local.

Dotties is a happy and welcoming little piece of heaven. everyone there wheely knows their stuff and are friendly and accommodating. they have a fabulous selection of everything you need to buy, carry, and customize your roll - plus all the safety gear and cool accessories to go with. if they dont have it, just ask - they most likely can get it. all details regarding my custom orders are communicated to me in a timely manner. shop small, support local - were lucky to have Dotties here.

Absolutely amazing store. I did have bad timing so unfortunately there were no skates my size because I have big feet. The store does however have an excellent selection of skates and Im fairly certain that any skate here in inventory will last a long time. Every skate at this location are decent or very high quality.I did purchase several pairs of their thick socks with fun sayings. My only warning is to be prepared to want to purchase all the socks. Theyre too awesome.

This is my new favorite small business to frequent! The owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and very nice. She even talked me out of purchasing a few things that I just really didnt need to buy myself (yet) to get launched into the local Skate Community. This is THE place to shop for skates!!! Dottie’s skate shop is a fantastic shop for all levels of skaters. As a plus size new skater (after 30 years!) I was very pleased to see options for me. The owner, Sara carries sizes that are inclusive in safety gear and clothing. Sara spends time to find out what your needs are. Since I am almost fully recovered from foot surgery I am getting excited to get my skates on and enjoy myself! The store has ADORABLE little goodies as well: from stickers, coin purses, earrings, etc! Such a fun and great vibe! Shop local!

The best roller skate shop I have ever been to! Took baby girl there today to find a pair of skates with four wheels and this place didnt disappoint. They had a ton of selection and Sarah helped fit them and showed us how to lace them up nice and tight. She also adjusted the wheels and threw some stickers in the box. If you are looking for the skates of your youth, you are in luck. And they make skates way cooler than when I was a youngster. They have all the accessories you would need from laces to stops to socks and charms. I saw a great selection of safety gear on the wall as well. Cannot emphasize my enthusiasm for this shop enough. Dont shop online for skates, go to your local merchant!

We came in and bought an entire set for my little sister. 4 stars because of the collection and assistance from the team-member working there! We do have to say though, we got weird vibes coming in here.For the record, we are all very clearly Mexican. As soon as we walked in there was a slightly older woman, who I would assume is the manager, and she just stared at us. They didnt greet us or anything but the lack of interaction with her meant that another team member was able to attend us who was awesome. They helped us browse until we found something in our price range. The manager would come in a few times to bring a box or something but it was just really weird and high tension, and it seemed that she didnt really want to give us the time of day. It wasnt until they learned that we were buying a full set plus protective gear that the manager grew kinder and interacted with us more.We were the only ones in the store, and despite my siblings finding more affordable options for everything we found, I pushed to support a small business because I know that they do what they love and they are here to help. We all just felt uncomfortable, and unwelcome. Fortunately, the rest of the team members were awesome and helpful!

Dottie Roller Skate Shop is a diamond in the rough! There are not enough roller parks but this is a great place to get your equipment. Sara(?) helped me select the perfect skates to get started with all the safety gear too. I took them out the minute I got home!I will return in a month for a full service and many amazing stories. Very excited to get involved in this excited sport!

We should all buy local. This is a nice shop that sells skates and related equipment.Its cute, clean and the prices are reasonable. Spend your money here instead of at the mall or online.

I always adore coming into this store! Whether I get something or not, it is always a positive experience where I leave feeling creatively motivated and eager to skate!I ordered a custom pair of skates through Dottie’s, and the owner, Sara, was extremely knowledgeable about technical skate details to help me get a pair that would exactly fit my needs. She communicated through the entire process to ensure that I was kept in the loop as my order updated.Also, on occasion, if I am looking for something that they don’t have in stock, the owner has gone out of her way to order it for me. Excellent customer service, and I feel lucky to have this skate shop in our area! It is a wonderful asset to our skate community.
