Portos Bakery gets 5 stars.....thats where I visited. Everything Ive ever had there was really excellent. There is always a line but it moves fast and definitely worth a little wait.
Went to Portos Bakery and Cafe. Cauliflower soup and a half-eaten tuna sandwich. Bread pudding, guava and cream cheese pastry, and ground beef mashed potato meat balls😋. Also, the decaf coffee was absolutely delicious.

One of the best bakeries, if there is a 20 minute wait in line, comfortable price, fresh and delicious bread, clean, friendly service, variety for every taste, I went once and became a customer, what I dont like is There is no parking lot because of the amount of people and long lines, but in the end, with patience, yes, I recommend it for me es6⭐️

Excellent service, all the staff is very friendly but, except for the people who make the coffee in the batista area, they are not very good and also the people who give the food, I normally order a lot and this last visit I had a problem with my order For food I was waiting almost 40 minutes, which had never happened in my visits. I had to ask what was going on and they had finished the rice. One of the girls who gave the food offered to speak to a manager. The manager immediately solved the problem and apologized very gentlemanly. mind and a half a discount but thats not why I give them 5 stars but for the good handling of the problem I dont remember the name of the manager he was very professional thank you very much we will see you soon and I clearly recommend this bakery

There is a family owned dry cleaners, the always busy Locker Room of Downey (specializing in custom hats), Portos, Creamistry, the Orthocraft Shoe store, Academy Jiu-Jitsu & Kickboxing, Downey Hair Studio, Avenue Press and a few restaurants/bars. Night life can get wild as people dont always know when to say when. Parking can be a pain also. And of course the awesome Farmers Market on Saturdays.All in all, pretty cool.
