Under new management. Last time I ordered the lunch special, the food was very salty. I thought Id give them another try and glad I did. but first, I asked to reduce the sodium on my orders. (1) Mapo tofu = instead of ground pork, they used bbq pork which gave it a really nice flavor but not sure if its still Mapo. (2) Singapore style rice noodle. (3) Kung pao chicken. Servings are very generous. Flavourful and tasty. Place appears to be clean inside but I was only there to pick up my order. I ordered 3 a la carte dishes and were ready within 10 mins. Will definitely try their other dishes next time but need to remember to ask for reduced sodium.

Place is spacious. Ordered Honey walnut shrimp, fried rice, orange chicken, crab rangoon, & singapore noodle. Everything was really great, particularly the shrimp. Portion is generous! Great place for family style dining, or one plate combo!

Ive been coming here for five years and Ive had maybe three bad dishes, and that was personal preference. Great price, great food, staff is very professional. I once left my debit card there with my dead name on it. The gentleman behind the counter called me back and used my preferred name and let me know I left it. Wonderful service.

Food is amazing staff is great. Salt and pepper asparagus shrimp was the best I have ever tasted. Both my boys loved their orange chicken with pork chow mein. Husband loved everything we got. It was family style. This place is so good. Highly recommend

Terrible for vegetarians - clearly the meateaters propping this here since day one place up with reviews only talking about meat, which is hard to mess up. TOO MUCH GREASE in this greasy spoon- a term meant for fast, inexpensive, casual food (in contrast to fine sit-down dining), not to mean dump it in literal cups of grease. Had no eggplant, inexplicable, and the broccoli in garlic sauce was greasy and sad. Tofu had better sauce (the sauce that should have been on the broccoli) but soft tofu, when firm tofu would have been better.TLDR Pretty much nothing for vegetarians, unless you adore grease. Cathay Express on Cottage Way is also a greasy spoon but doesnt *take it literally,* maybe take notes, Sacramento. Literally tired of trying to eat vegetarian in places that SHOULD have decent vegetarian options, but dont.Restaurants have to realize no one is going to complain to your face, THEY JUST DONT GO BACK. Charging $3.50 for THE SMALLEST cup of rice Ive ever seen is another cash grab. ON THE EAST COAST AND MOST PLACES EXCEPT SACRAMENTO, rice is included with entrees and would be really appreciated here. I wish more vegetarians in Sac would write more reviews on here, not Yelp.Notice how the good reviews here are exclusively for meat dishes that literally anyone can make with 0 skill.Enjoy your mediocre, not cheap, greasy AF food, meateaters.

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants to visit. Every time I come here it seems to be nice and clean. The owner he is friendly and nice. Parking is pretty good. He also provides free Wi-Fi.But only why I only give it 4 stars. About 2 weeks from this date when I came in the person at register, never said hi, give us any suggestions.They also provide hi chairs, and lots space for any people with wheelchairs.

We chose the Happy Meal for 5-6 people which had chow mein in a flavorful sauce, fried rice, broccoli beef; the beef was very tender, so good!, sweet and sour pork; tender pork fried to a light crisp and coated in their perfectly tangy sweet and sour sauce, a spicy chicken and veggies dish, creamy cheese wontons, a stir fried beef dish, plus a double order of their pork buns. Everything was delicious! We will be back next time were in the area.

The food is not bad here, the issue is the lack of customer service and the time it takes to get your food. Obviously this is not a fast food restaurant but there should still be a reasonable time frame for customers to get their food. As both a customer and a food delivery every time I have come here the wait times are ridiculous. The younger guy that helps you seems to be irritated everything I come here, you get no welcome in how may I help you?. He basically looks at you for a good min before asking anything.

Dragon Palace is the only Chinese Restaurant I’ve eaten at for over 14 years I used to eat 3-4 times a week because I’m a diabetic I cut back to 2 days. The owner treats everyone with respect the waiter is a wonderful man. The quality of the meat is great small buffet but Great Food. Try it you will love it as I do, they also deliver to. Give this restaurant a chance they will make your food the way you like it.

I love this place. But... The older gentleman who runs the dinning room is extremely rude. I usually come in for a few lunch buffet Togo. Today he watched me like a hawk. I almost asked him if he would like to scoop it for me. To me it was extremely rude and unnecessary.I paid for the meals a head of time. FYI dont ask for extra sauce. I dont think I will be returning to this family restaurant

Like that there is an all you can eat lunch buffet - Choice is limited, but good and filling. Hot and sour soup was tasty. Pot stickers made with a thicker dough then I was used to, made them very chewy. The combination plates are good, ordered over the phone and done fast! Great price for the portions. They serve Thai iced tea as well. I will definitely be coming back to try all the other entree options.

That Chinese food here is really really great. There isnt anything that Ive gotten from here that I have not liked. Its very reasonably priced and I consider it one of the better Chinese restaurants in Sacramento. We also have a daily Buffet Monday to Friday. Yeah, I think 7: 50 and its all fresh food made on the spot.

Pot stickers are the best in town. They are large, thick, juicy and full. They never disappoint when it comes to pot stickers. Some of their dishes are fried too long. Sweet and sour pork, fried too long the meat is dry. Same with orange and lemon chicken.

Worst food I have ever had. Salt and pepper calamari was not cooked, soggy and raw like it was previously frozen and heated in a microwave. Orange chicken was very tough and dry like it was cooked long before, maybe day(s) before I purchased it. Everything (chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken, calamari and spring rolls had a noticeable flavor of soap. Not fit for consumption!!!

Although not in the best location (between garden highway and 1-80), this is a great little Chinese restaurant. They have an online app to assist in ordering and getting delivery to a certain area of town, however, if you are not within their delivery area, you can also call in and check to see if they will deliver, which is so kind of the owners, as they will often drive beyond the apps zones to deliver.The chefs like to focus on seasonal foods, and will even suggest foods that might be more fresh aka seasonal if you are willing to depart from traditional Chinese cuisine that Americans think of.The portion sizes are huge! We like a lot of variety, so we often spend ~$75 on food plus tip, however, we walk away with 6 nearly full boxes of leftovers that we cant even finish after days of leftovers.There arent a lot of Chinese restaurants in this area of town, but this is a gem that I hope sticks around for a long time!

I feel like management might have changed recently. I have been going to this establishment, as well as the prior establishment (which used to be called by a different name that I cant remember). However, the food was good, and was ready in very reasonable amount of time. My son & came in the restaurant and we werent acknowledged when we got up to the counter. No hello, Ill be right with you or anything. After the cashier got off the phone, he went to bus/clear a table instead of taking our order. When he did take our order he barely gave us eye contact. I ordered 2 specials, one for me, the other for my son, & received only one stamp instead of 2. (After 9 meals/stamps the 10th meal is free). It was very poor customer service, & I wont be going back again.
